Man Sony's press conference was ridiculous. I went into it thinking that they couldn't match Microsoft's one from earlier in the day, but man was I wrong. I would of never thought that I would want a God of War game until now. Almost every game they showcased, I wanted. I just wished some of those games came out sooner.

Sony is the king of early reveals. There were still I believe two games showcased at E3 this year that got announced on Sony's E3 stage a lifetime ago.

Really? I was disappointed by it. I felt like I allowed them my excitement over a bunch of early reveals with no release dates at E3 2015: Horizon, FF7 remake, Shenmue, etc. They did it again this year. Show me what you have for us this year. Give me some holiday surprise.

 
I loved that they emphasized the artistry of their games and had long interesting live gameplay. Horizon Zero Dawn is definitely going to be mine. Lots of games looked great. Agreed more fall 2016 games would have been nice but RE7 fully PSVR was a huge surprise

Yeah you are right. They showed a lot of games that won't be released this year. And since a lot of the 2015 E3 games are still not released, I am starting to think the games they showed this year won't be out until 2018 :wall:

Maybe I'm missing something but RE7 looks like it's wholesale lifting the PT idea. It's hard to believe that it will be PSVR; looks much better than anything else shown so far.

I can't remember but you either need the spade key, push four boxes into the water to make a land bridge, or place the emblem into the slot on the statue. One of those things will unlock the button to download the demo.
 
I agree with someone that said it in another thread, Sony had a great conference but what did they announce apart from The Last Guardian for this year?

It just seems like 2017 is going to be an amazing year for games, while this year is kinda meh for the rest of it..
 
Interesting about CoD 4 getting a digital release a month early on the PS4.  My Dad pre-order already and at the time I thought he was being dumb but after hearing this news and seeing the gameplay demo last night I am starting to like the move.

Some of these games will not even be released in the next two years. Heck the new Kojima game will not even run on the engine they showcased because they haven't even chosen one.

Best of E3 sale has some decent prices.  $3 for Dark Souls II might be too hard to resist.  I'd probably jump on Omega Quintet for $4 if I had a PS4, and I'm debating Akiba's Trip and Tearaway.

Might pick up 1886 for $6, although I'd prefer it physical, so I could trade it in when I was done.  BUt not sure I could find it for that price physically.

Search Resident Evil 7, go to the actual game pre-order screen, then there should be an option in the bottom right for Game Page or something like that. The demo will be there.

Oh, and you CANNOT download it from the PSN Store website or your mobile phone, only on your console.

My main issue is I don't know how much I'll actually like Dark Souls, as I didn't enjoy Demon's Souls. My friend keeps telling me it's way better, but I dunno. And it's a lot easier for me to throw $3 at a game I might not play much than $12.

I know it is not digital but you can get a used copy from GS for $16. Heck you could buy it and play a bit and return it within 7 days if do not like it at all. Even if you do like it you could return it and buy the digital version. I know the big down side is dealing with returning something to GameStop.

I dunno, I would say that applies to only Kojimas game. We already know Horizon and Last Guardian release dates, and we know Days Gone and GOW have been in development for a while. Insomniac turns around games quite quickly. I wouldnt be shocked if most of these games come out next year. What else do you see that screams 3 years or more out?

And people realize games dont have to be shown at a conference to be released in the same year, right?

I didn't realize it was that cheap at GameStop. I'm going through a move, so my PS3 is packed up at the moment, but I'm sure this stuff will be on sale again, so I may just go that route. Thanks!

Im mulling it over, have the retail vanilla. I would like to have the retail GOTY but this would be much easier.

Concerning Dishonored, I have the digital vanilla but the PS4 Definitive is showing $19.99 for me.

Trillion was pretty cheap on Amazon a couple of weeks ago. Why would anyone buy their games at full retail (unless tempted by the LE)? That MegaNeptunia VII drop has to be one of the fastest I've ever seen, rivaled only by their Vita ports of the earlier games.

E3 is for showcasing the future while Gamescom, PGW, TGS, and PSX can be used for all the other nonsense.. Last night's show was fantastic and as a PS4 owner, I am very excited by what I saw..

So Child of Light is on my radar, can anyone give any thoughts on Vita vs PS4? I imagine its going to look damn sexy on the OLED screen, but the big screen of my PS4 is also a plus....decisions decisions :whistle2:k

If you have any interest in the DLC (which is actually 3 items and Scholar of the First Sin is the game + all 3 DLCs), do not buy the $3 standalone listing, as the DLCs alone never go on sale.

 
sony's conference was a legit 10 out of 10 in my eyes

i felt like i was a kid again at toys r us with my parents in the action figure section, wanting every one in the store
