Wait.. what? I thought i heard Comcast diteched their caps? Shit if thats not true i may be screwed. I've downloaded tons of PS+ games to try to find something to test input lag on some tv's i want to test out plus i've been downloading a shit ton of anime that i was oing to throw on an external HDD as a xmas gift for my sisters boyfriend

I disagree. The best way to play old Apple II games is on an old Apple II!

Actually i think both are based on the first season. If i recall first half was the traditional medieval style RPG setting and second half was the gay ass fairy land thing. Season II is about guns or something

Hollow fragment re: PS4 never did get a western physical release did it?
Depends on location, I know around colleges Comcast ditched the caps, but I thought they were reinstated else where.

Check to see if you have a monthly usage meter.

Comcast as far as I'm aware has always been a soft cap regardless.  If you go over they're not going to cut you off or throttle you unless it's a habitual thing.  Though in some test markets they do charge you for overages (but I assume you would know if that applies to you.

I'm playing Batman: Arkham Night in the most serious way possible.

If you got the Arkham Night premium edition, check the DLC section of the menus to make sure you downloaded all of the DLC. It'll let you easily download what you missed. There are five more packs coming for the season pass, which includes Christian Bale's Batman suit, a story expansion, a new challenge pack, and two more Batmobile skins (Rocksteady theme and Original Arkham).

I think the problem really is anyone mentioning it. If people not mention it, people wouldn't get the idea (my context isn't meant to be read as hateful, if it does, sorry isn't towards you or anyone). Hopefully redbox can upgrade their machines in the near future so this isn't possible. I seen some guy earlier at a redbox to a point of concealing his identity while indoors at a Walmart. They should require facial recognition while renting/buying from redbox, where it denies sale to people it can't recognize (as far as having their face covered up but then we run into the issue of those who have faced trauma in their life etc).
The day Redbox using fucking facial recognition to rent me discs is the day I never, ever, even walk near one of those things again. I mean, seriously. That's absurd.

Anyone know if Assassin's Creed Unity is worth $10 given:

I hated the first.

Loved the second.

Got burnt out on the third- liked it but collectibles killed my enjoyment.

Haven't played since.

I was in the same situation as you when I bought it for like 16 bucks with gcu. It was an ok game. It didn't realt do anything particularly well or revolutionary but I feel like I got 16 bucks of enjoyment out of it.

Get Syndicate instead if you want an AC game.
ok. I talked myself out of it anyway as I realized there are $10 psp games I'd rather buy than an AC game... if i'm going to try another AC game, it'll be one that was well reviewed. Thanks to those who responded!

Crap I should have bought the complete version from Amazon when they had it for $16 just for the season pass

As I understand things, I believe if any single Assassin's Creed game is going to rekindle your interest in the series after that progression, it's Black Flag.

That's the general conclusion I've seen, anyway, I haven't played past II, myself.

100% agree. Black flag, looks and plays great. It's got a lightheartedness missing since AC 2. I haven't played Unity either and I go back and forth on a 10er for it. From what I know, it was a botched launch, but the technical problems were cleaned up in patches, story is boring and enemies are tougher to fight now, but dumb (my guess is it too a lot of the logic cores to render the dense crowds, so AI suffer).

So, Evolve is considered a flop.
It's not broken/barely broken 1 million sales total across all release systems.. yet they've released a 2nd season?

I'm guessing this was pushed by the Publisher or Bank to recoop losses.

You should pick up 4 or Syndicate probably. 4 is dirt cheap most of the time.

Pretty sure this plan has been in place all along since a lot of people were completely put off by their stupid DLC plans despite wanting to check the game and wanting to support Turtle Rock.

I agree with the burnt out on Assassin's Creed, I played 1 through 2.75 pretty quickly, one after another.
Game 1 and 2 I 100% all the ingame and collectables, 2.5 I did a good 70 or more, and 2.75 I had it and just did whatever interested me.

I've yet to play 3 onward... just burned out but I own them all on PS consoles.

As for Evolve, I didn't think the plans really extended past the first season.. but you have a point.

I was interested when I heard the original concept, but once I saw the actual gameplay, I became completely turned off, then I rented it and just felt it was meh.

People claim they already have cameras built into the redbox machines (source - mentioned on the forums, not reliable information). What difference would facial recognition be from being taped 24/7 already. Most retailers where red boxes are, have cameras everywhere, even some placed in not so obvious places.

thinking about taken king dlc for 26 after 10% for PS3, but will it go to my PS4 account also, since I did the PS3>PS4 destiny upgrade deal where I got it on both?

On Average you're caught on more than 75 Camera's a day.

Used my 10% off code finally. I haven't bought this many games for PS4 in quite a long time but Japanese games are why I bought the system so I'm pretty happy. I bought the following:

Blazerush - PS3
Guilty Gear Xrd Sign - PS4
N Plus Plus - PS4
Onechanbara Z2: Chaos - PS4
Ultra Street Fighter IV - PS4

Anyone know if you own the digital versions Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Jedi Starfighter and Star Wars Bounty Hunter, do they work or are they usable on PS4 yet?

Since the voucher you get with the Battlefront consoles allows you to download them

And you don't see the difference between having cameras placed everywhere [which is bad enough] and voluntarily giving corporations enough data on you to track you via facial recognition just so you might, and I stress might, avoid getting a piece of paper one out of every 100,000 movie rentals?

Redbox doesn't give a flying f about the occasional stolen disc. They operate with an acceptable amount of fraudulent losses, just like any corporation of their size does, and the price of their product covers those losses, just like any corporation of their size does. They're not about to institute some crazy facial recognition system over that.. And thank the dogs for that. I mean, jeez, you might as well hand over your ID and submit to bag searches every time you enter or leave a store to prevent someone shoplifting.

It will not.

There was a window of time pre TTK that ps3 digital would transfer to ps4 (TDB and HOW expansions too) if you went on their website and clicked through a form.
For the taken king the money grab is in full force.
To play on both ps3 and ps4 you'd have to buy two copies or gameshare to make it work.
The entire game is locked down without TTK besides the few crippled "legacy" playlists.

Your save data however will still transfer in either direction instantly. I hop back and forth ps3 and ps4 depending on if any friends are on that need help that haven't been able to get a ps4. LFG is comatose on old gen.

I'm an idiot.   I thought the disc for toy soldiers came with all the DLC.... so bought it on Gamefly and thought I got a deal.   Now i need to decide whether i want to sell it, and buy the complete digital version at $15, or wait for some future sale.

Anyway.  I played the demo level.  It's fun.   You place turrents around the map like a tower defense game, upgrade them, and then can take over turrets to fire yourself.    Build a meter and unlock a super character to take onto the battlefield.    During any given level you earn money and other unlocks, increasing the overall abilities of your various turrets, infantry, etc as well as unlocking more.

It's all very satisfying gameplay wise.   Some reviews said the various armies feel 'same-ish' afterawhile, but that doesn't really distract from the fact that's it's fun.   If I hadn't bought the physical version but got to play it today, I would have jumped on the $15 version today.  Now I need to decide if it's worth the resell hassle, though.

Would anybody mind posting what the 10% off code is?  I am about to make my last purchases from the Flash Sale, and saving a little extra would definitely be nice.  Thank you in advance.  :)

Update:  Found it.  I am going to go ahead and repost it for anybody else doing some last minute shopping on PSN.  It was on Page 318 of this thread:

PSN 10% Discount Code:  FH24P5BDR6

Are you sure about that, I can't find any listings for a disc version that doesn't?

It looks like they are on-disc DLC, so you need a code to "buy" them off PSN to unlock them in the game. I'm not sure how GameFly is about providing the codes when you buy the game used.
Well if it's a code it's not on disc but regardless a copy from Gamefly should have it unused. Watching an unboxing shows it's a DLC card so unless I'm missing something he should have gotten it.

Is Battlefield 4 Premium still populated & worth picking up on PS4?

I let my PS+ sub lapse in October, but I'm tempted to re-up w/ one of the 3-month subs I picked up at Walmart & take advantage of the extra % off on BF4 (the PS+ discount combined w/ the 10% off code means Premium would end up being only $16.20...that seems like a pretty damn good deal overall)...

I just bought it a couple days ago. There are lots of active servers in all of the modes I tried -- conquest, small conquest, rush, squad deathmatch, defuse, etc, etc.

So... yes, the community is still there. It looks like there's some kind of option to actually pay for a dedi server if you have a clan (or money to spend) and so there are both official and 'custom' servers.

What I've learned so far: My godlike skill back in the day at BF2 is not carrying over automatically... so much to remember and relearn. And it's hard, because I play TLOUR MP all the time so going from something I've mastered to something I'm a total newb at hurts. Though at least I 'sort of' know what I"m doing since i used to play a lot.

My only issue so far is that all my BF2/3 buddies with mics aren't around, so it's still a silent game [whereas I've made lots of TLOUR mic friends].
