Will buy Rogue Galaxy tomorrow. Fantastic and beautiful game. Will hope a sequel announced for it tomorrow ar PSX since we still await that mystery Level 5 game.
 
Few yrs ago when i had Ps3 , i purchased some games on PSN.
Recently got PS4, logged in with same acct, where can i see those purchased games in PSN?

Do i need to search for those games & download? Hopefully wont get charged again

If they're PS4 games they'll be in your library. If they're PS3 games you can see them on the PS3 or in your download list on the website.

If I had a time machine, I would kill off DoA by diverting all the talent to Konami, kidnap and impersonate Kojima so TPP ends in time and under budget so that then Konami's true last game unlocked by getting the best ending is a glorious fox engine Rumble Roses

 
Ugh, my favorite RPGs from the PS2 era were the Persona series, Dark Cloud series, and Rogue Galaxy. I don't need more games right now Sony, stop tempting me with nostalgia!

You realize that PS3 games don't run on a PS4, right? The only exception would be if there's also a PS4 version and the game happened to be cross-buy.

Yes is extremely easy to do. I did it using an old credit card which is much better than using a screw driver because it doesn't damage the aluminum part of the enclosure and then you can throw in the 500gb hdd from to ps4 into that enclosure and use it for whatever you like.

Yep and it might even be easier with your fingernail or a small flathead.
 
PSN sent out another message for Doom Alpha invites with a game code this time inside it.  It took a few minutes to find a match, pretty fun definitely has that doom vibe going on.

They should give some sort of discount, like 50% or something.

but thinking about it, no publisher would ever do that. I mean we got tomb raider,last of us, etc..... on ps4 at full price.

They should have an option to pay less if you bought it digitally on PSN at full price?

 
Is Tron: Evolution worth the fiver? I liked the original film and I appreciate that they used the original actors, but I'm not sure that'll be enough to keep me interested.

Why? They're in first place with a very healthy margin, they're focused on adding profit, not customers.
 
Anyone run into any problems downloading the episodes for Life Is Strange? I can download 3 out of the 4, but the last one tells me it can't download because of my memory storage even though I have more than 20 GB remaining. I deleted and redownloaded the base game and the episodes 3 times already and no matter which order I download the episodes, 1 episode can't be downloaded because of that memory bs. Any suggestions?

In what world does this scenario play out? Do you get retailers to give you a 50% break on a Blu-ray because you bought the DVD 10 years ago?

If you wanna talk about price gouging, look no further than Nintendo's Virtual Console.
 
Interesting first batch of PS2 classics.  While I would love to be able to put in my discs for the games and get these, since I still have Twisted Metal Black and Rouge Galaxy and the GTA series on my shelf, I understand these are more upscales than backwards compatibility and it is adding a few new features with the trophies and the streaming.  I might see these in action before I spend some money, and I hope more questions are answered this afternoon about this program.  I do know if I see the persona or xenosaga series...my money...take all of it!!

With their big keynote today, I wonder what else is coming down.  I got the feeling that FF7 version which was just a port of the Steam version that was supposed to be out a few months ago that was delayed to December might get a launch date..maybe even today.  I doubt it is as good as last year when EA gave us three awesome games (PVZ: GW for PS4, Mirror's Edge for PS3 and Need for Speed for the Vita) but I think Sony has a few tricks hopefully up their sleeve.

I'm with you. This idea that because you bought a game on one platform that you are then either entitled to it for free or for a discount on every future platform is ridiculous.

  • Uncharted 4 has branching dialog for the story scenes.
  • FFVII Remake is being shown off with gameplay and everything. It has a behind-the-back camera view and looks great.
  • FFVII Remake's battle system is more action-oriented like FFXIII and FFXV.
  • The PC port of Final Fantasy VII will be out later today.
  • Adult Swim is bringing a bunch of games to PS4, including a new Double Fine game called Head Lander.
  • Double Fine's Day of the Tentacle Remastered is out in March. They're also remastering Full Throttle and working on a Psychonauts VR game.
  • Don't Starve Together and Invisible Inc are coming to PS4.
  • Zodiac Orcanon Odyssey is coming to PS4/Vita.
  • Hitman Go is coming to PS4/Vita.
  • Brawlhalla is coming to PS4 with exclusive content.

I am not happy about that. Final Fantasy should be turn based or at least have the option to make it turn based like FF12 which I think had a great battle system.

If Sony adds "Kuon", "Blood Will Tell" and "Haunting Ground" I'm there. "Rule Of Rose" gets honorable mention. For the last one I'm looking at you Atlus, WHERE is that game? For everyone else, to be a nice guy I'm going to suggest all the "Shadow Hearts" games by default. Additionally I would like to see "Venus and Braves" added but fat chance of that.

I was right when I said Sony would use this to combat the One's BC, after the SW games were included in the Battlefront bundle. Someone else originally speculated on that but I think they were on the ball. Don't remember them mentioning the idea of competition with the BC though.

Ugh, 3D art style for KOFXIV?!  The last domino falls.  Please just stab me in the heart SNK.  Oh and fuck anyone else who thinks I'm being dramatic.  I'm sick and tired of having 3D shoved down my throat in every genre.

and saying I LIKE sprites!!!!  I don't hate polygons but I love seeing sprites in HD glory.  Please SNK just offer a KS for a sprite based KOFXIV, I'm begging you!!!!!!!!  You were the last big holdout.  SF3 remastered would look gorgeous.  Sprites are beautiful.\

p.s. EnixSquare, fuck you for completely dumping turn-based for FFVII.  That will make this easily a no-buy unless it's dirt cheap, even then I may buy it used out of spite.  What a week for the old school, talk about a nail in the coffin.

I'm glad it's action myself, I'm fine with playing the original for the turn-based combat. (And will because I never beat FFVII, buying today when the store updates)
