I tried that once. Got kicked out because I got caught up in the threads. Bastards already penalized me once. Next time is 5 games, eff that.

Good thing is, nothing really good popped up outside of that $3.xx Twilight Princess. I did miss that, but I was out doing errands so I can't blame OW :D

Heh, since your post I hit 34 and got a crate that contained both 500 currency (gold tier) and Winston's Undersea skin. Since I was finally at 1000 currency I also bought Bastion Steambot skin. I'm feeling pretty good right now.

I'm like half way tempted to add you on PSN but I also feel like that might just encourage me to play more than I already am, and that would really be a problem lol

It's funny that you mentioned Undersea. I just realized I pulled that in the bundle and I'm really starting to like Winston a real lot. So the bundle wasn't a waste, ok it still was a waste but I have no regrets tho, I'll throw Blizzard a bone, they deserve it.

Bought War of the Monsters, GTA Trilogy, TM Black, and Okage. Why even bother releasing new games?

e: If we're talking Overwatch skins, the only legendary skin I've gotten so far (level 19 at the moment) is Slapshot for Lucio, which I'm cool with.

Powers Season 2 is out(first 3 episodes and rest is weekly now). It is free if you have a ps plus subscription. I enjoyed season 1 and season 2 is okay so far. It does feel very cheesy because of the bad green screen and that one scene with Calista was just plain sad to look at.

The price is good.

GTA III & VC actually looks amazing when you turn trails off in the menus. San Andreas looks really nice as well (relative of course). They still play like they did all that time ago.

I don't regret paying full price for all of them considering they are 3 of my favorite games of all time.

 
I already own God of War psp games from the collection so this is one of the few times I own a game given away. Not a fan of sports games so NBA is a let down, but at least its the most recent one and not 14 or something. Gone Home seems neat so there is my value for the month I guess. Just wish we get Goat Simulator or something. I think it is only $10. They can also give away Salt and Sanctuary.

I am just thinking about all the games that Sony could give away, but don't. I think if they look at the success that Rocket League had, they wish they didn't give it away.

I will keep my subscription running since I already paid for a year, but I can see why people are choosing to not re up.

Mine is up this month, unless a really good deal for a 1 year subscription pops up I think I'm going to let it slide. I very rarely play online and it's been months since I actually downloaded one of the freebie games. I wish I had stocked up on the 3 month subscription cards that were on sale for $10 last Black Friday, I would just use one of those when a game I'm interested in becomes available and spend the 3 months playing PS+ titles in my backlog.

Why? The developers certainly don't regret it and seeing that it continues to be one of the top game and DLC sellers each month, Sony gets a good cut of that on their end.

No, they never said that, as it was a poor second-hand interpretation of an interview in Game Informer a while ago.

"Q: Seeing how successful it is, do you regret giving it away for free?

A: I would be lying if I said I don't think about that, but there's no way to know. PlayStation has been a very, very key role in this whole thing...it seems to be what made it spark and take off."

Tempted to bite on Rogue Galaxy always wanted that for PS2 back in the day but it was like $30 at its low point and then PS3 happened.

$7.50 is a steal if you haven't played it. Really enjoyed it when it first came out and I'm tempted to rebuy it myself.

 
I just played the demo of Odin Sphere....wow! One of the best experiences I have had since Rocket League launched. Any other similar games to this? I have Dragon's Crown on Vita but it didn't catch my attention like this game. I love the mixture of RPG, combos, and quickness of the game.

Dust: An Elysian Tail is really good. Similar art style, action RPG combat, more of a 2D open world. Guacamelee also.
 
Filthy Lucre was what the rogue that follows you says in dragon's crown. Just read the last few posts and awesome they connect coincidentally

 
No love for Primal? I never thought they'd actually emulate it. $7.50 good price.

I played it years ago, maybe an hour in or so. I just played an hour and this game is my missing love for the B tier games. Sony's PS2 emulator does a very good job smoothing screen text and aliased objects. Though you do need to put yourself back a decade and remember how controls and and animations were new.

That and Rouge Galaxy, very interested to play. From what I've seen, the style of the game looked really good, like a modern cell shaded game.

It does make me wonder how far the emulation scene has come since I last checked years ago. Meh, my usual rambles.
 
< $10 is my price point for the majority of these PS2 Classics - definitely will pick a few up.

They really just slowed down on releasing these things, though. With the hundreds of PS2 games out there, they have actually botched that game plan pretty badly.

Im happy with most of the titles they've chosen to release. I'm really hoping they'll get around to the Shadow Hearts Trilogy at some point but I don't know how likely or unlikely that is.
