Really digging Stories. The Bridge is also a clever puzzler.

I've really got to stop getting all of these Japanese RPGs, especially anime influenced ones. I've got so many and have hardly made a dent in the ones I already have. Monopiece is at least different with the lane/card based combat. And can I ask, why do sooooo many JRPG/anime games revolve around a school? It worked for the Persona games, but seriously, is it like something that HAS to be there?

Is the price difference justified between the Shantae games? I've heard good things about the series but know very little about the games individually. I'm definitely going to get the one for $2 but is the other one 4x better (or bigger or whatever) to justify $8? Or is it just newer so it doesn't have as deep a discount?

Risky's Revenge was originally a DSiWare game while Pirate's Curse was a 3DS/Wii U game, so the latter looks better and doesn't have bars on the sides. RR also released on June 2015 while PC was released April 2016. It's the difference in scopes of the two projects.

School is just the popular trope in anime right now. School and Idols.

Personally, I still like Crystals, but then I'm old.

 
Enjoying Tharsis as a cool strategy/survival game, but the difficulty is like Oregon Trail where a new person gets dysentery every other day.

Also enjoying The Swindle as a cool roguelite stealth game, though I tend to rush a bit too much and end up killing myself on some of the weird level randomness for each job.

Knock-knock is mildly ok, not what I would call good. The art style is good and atmosphere is there a little, but the gameplay evolves in the first 1/4 of the game and then doesn't really change for the next 3/4ths.

Jeez, talk about an issue. I had to buy a digital playstation network code off amazon to fund my wallet to buy games. It will not let me use a credit card or PayPal through the Playstation store. Shouldn't be so hard to give my money to them.

The last time it was on sale was last August for $12. Can you give me some insight on why I may be out of luck? I have no idea

Action Unleashed and ReBirth 3 were on sale this past April if that matters at all

I had never heard of Toukiden: Kiwami but the videos I saw seemed interesting. Monster Hunter is another game that is brought up with this title and I have never played it. Is this a good price for it? What about playing single player? Any thoughts from someone who has played it would be appreciated.

 
I tried the escapists without reading anything about it, omg i had no idea what was going on. after i read about it, seems kinda like don't starvish. i beat the first level but just by beating every guard up and making a run for it.

im still here playing free games like gems of war and smite

 
Trying out Brandish, and it's pretty good.  The controls were weird at first, but I got used to it and am having a good time.  I like old school dungeon crawls.  That's half of what I buy on the Vita anyway.

 
:ps4: Dead Island Definitive Collection is up there with the worst remasters on this gen. Lazy bastards. They're lucky I love the Dead Island games even with all its faults.

Paid $20 which is too much but I have it locked at $19.xx tiv at Amazon. So $0.xx to replay one of my favorite games plus I'll still have the Riptide/Retro Rampage games digitally.

 
Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is so, so, so, so good--easily one of the best platformers I've ever played, no joke.

I ordered both 10 bucks from Sony rewards two days ago(hasnt come yet. Why is a digital code taking so long?) and I should be getting the 15 back from the 100. Any chance that 15 will come before the deals end? Anyone have experience?

Single player is decent. The AI for the extra people (2 other hunters) is good enough for the most part. Sometimes they do die a bit too easily. It is pretty beatable 1 player though. I'm not 100% sure of all the hunts, but the standard ones anyway.

school is just one of those annoying tropes. The sad part is they rarely do anything of note with said school settings. typically its just there as a backdrop. Bully was probably the last time it was of any relevance.

Why would it? It clearly appears to be an error. They didn't announce it. In fact they announced other Ps+ games.
