I can confirm that Grim Fandango/Broken Age/Bard's Tale are all cross play for Vita/PS3

Today's sale isn't bad. Thinking I'll grab Shooty Fruity, Super Stardust Ultra, The Rabbit Hole and just bite it on Beat Saber.

Went middle tier even though I own Grim and BA. As a bonus, Bard's Tale is crossbuy with PS3 and vita! It wasn't listed as such on psn, so I'm happy! Unfortunately, I don't think trophies stack.

Edit: Didn't see the post above...

Talos principle worth it, but since I own it I'm going for the 1 dollar tier.

Bards tale lost my full price purchase for not including the original trilogy but I'll happily get this.

For those who have Rainbow Six Siege, is it worth picking up? GS has the base game on sale for $15 right now and the sale may end today. Would like to hear some pros and cons before possibly picking it up.

I'm going to wait until I get paid again next week and buy the $15 tier then since the BTA is close to $10 now.  I already own disc copies of Wasteland 2 and Talos Principle (Talos is still unopened), but it's a pretty solid deal overall.  It will be a good exercise in patience for me too.

Pretty sure Grim Fandango, Broken Age and Killing Floor 2 were all PS+ titles.  Still think I'll go for the $15 tier for Shadow Warrior 2, that and it's a good cause.

Edit: Just purchased and unlike previous bundles, each tier has its own code rather than 1 code for the entire bundle.

Thanks for the info. Knowing I can give away my unneeded games pushed me to go $15.                             EDIT: I'm only seeing 3 key in total, 1 per tier.

^Not exactly; there's only one redemption code for the entire bundle.

Triple edit: guess it's a code for each tier. I wouldn't know since I only got the bottom tier.

In my haste, I somehow misread that as stating  "...unlike previous bundles, each game has its own code..."   Oh well, guess I be giving away the whole bundle since I own most already.

So what happens if you already have some of the games on the Humble Bundle, on PS plus? Do you still get to purchase them permanently to your library or does owning them already through Plus, negate that?

It negates it. I bought the bundle, put in the codes, and only the games I didn’t own showed up as the contents of the codes.

Monster Slayers is well worth the money.  I bought it a few weeks ago when the Digerati Card Bundle was on sale, and it's one of my most played PS4 games now.  I can't say that waiting for the Card Bundle to go on sale again will be worth it because the other game in the bundle, Frost, isn't great.

Didn’t see anyone post here about Quantic Dream going multiplatform. Pretty surprising. Which reminds me... gotta get back to Detroit one is these days.

Not good for Sony, but probably good for the studio since they make kind of niche games so having a bigger audience to sell to can only help.

Sounds great for them, more money. I think exclusives are dumb. The future is cross platform play and games on all systems. Gives us a better chance of finding deals on digital items because most gamers own multiple consoles.

Question for fans of isometric RPGs: What order would you recommend for the list below (these are obviously PS4 versions)?

Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition (the only one in this list I started, though it was some years ago)

Pillars of Eternity

Divinity: Original Sin (+ Original Sin 2)

Torment: Tides of Numenera

Shadows: Awakening

I want to eventually play all of those, but I'd prefer to do so in an ascending-order-of-quality kind of way.

Well I haven't played all of them but Divinity: Original Sin is one of the best games I've ever played, so I guess play it last? But keep in mind its insanely long, I was stunned when at about the 75 hour mark I figured out I was only about half way through. With that said, since the game has a sequel already, you might want to get to that sooner than later in order to put some buffer between the two. Can't speak to the rest but they are all in the backlog.

Don’t know much about Shadows. The others are all excellent but very different games. Might come down to a matter of preference on what type you like. Bear in mind I haven’t finished all of them but played enough to have an opinion on them.

Diablo is obviously going to be your hack n’ slash where you’ve got more action over story.

Pillars is also an action RPG but more tactical, party based like the Baldur’s Gate games. Torment is similar but far more story based with less combat and more decision making.

Then the Divinity games are turn based with a good story/combat balance.

Don’t think you could go wrong with any of them. Just play the type of game you are in the mood for.

Huge Diablo fan here, try Victor Vran.

Sounds great for them, more money. I think exclusives are dumb. The future is cross platform play and games on all systems. Gives us a better chance of finding deals on digital items because most gamers own multiple consoles.
Exclusives are smart because they define each console. They sell consoles. This becomes even more important for console makers as the tech itself converges and the machines become more similar.

They will not ever go away because if one console stopped making them it would a no brainer for the other to make them since it would be a defining selling point.

Do you have any receipts for the claim most gamers own multiple machines within the same gen?

Rogue aces is one of my favorite ps4 games, it's a modern take on wings of fury.

I'm happy I didn't buy hitman recently. I dont know about the rest.

"Most" might be overselling things, but a combined 80 million units shipped between Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360 in the previous generation suggests that either 50% of North American households had a game console, or there was a strong level of eventual overlap.

Really happy about the cloud storage. That alone makes Feburary a win. Question, I've played Hitman through the free seasonal episodes, will the progress I made transfer over to the complete first season?

Not good for Sony, but probably good for the studio since they make kind of niche games so having a bigger audience to sell to can only help.
I'm not sure games that sell 2 to 5+ million copies can really be considered niche (I think Heavy Rain and Beyond were two of the best selling games of all time on PS3), but definitely good news for the studio's future.

I wonder if I could enter the code again when my plus expires shortly and get the missing games that way.
You could wait until your plus lapses and then redeem the code; on the other hand if you let it lapse, then you will lose access to your ps3/vita plus titles from the wording in Sony's email and blog. If only you could temporarily suspend your plus and then re-activate next day or something..

The code itself is one time use though.

To add to what others have already said, Torment is extremely text heavy and you will spend more time reading than playing. Pillars is slightly more text than play and place between Torment and D3 in terms of text to play, and Diablo is maybe the quickest to finish of the list. Divinity is wonderful; I got it off recommendations here and there and have enjoyed it a lot, but it is long. First I've heard of Shadows, so may check that out sometime.

Saves are HUGE in size. They add up over time especially if you play a game that you have multiple saves at a time (like RPGs)
I assume this is great for Bethesda games then mostly. I haven't even used 3gb of my cloud storage so this upgrade is fairly meh for me.

So since we are getting Hitman the complete first season, does that mean we can get the Hitman 2 trial and play all of season 1 with the Hitman 2 enhancements?
