Last year we got a Days of Play sale, and a Best of E3 sale for the weekly sale. I think last year might have been the first Days of Play sale, but we've been getting Best of E3 sales for at least a few years now. I'm guessing we'll get one this year as well.

 
Does anyone know why PSPrices.com lists most of the fallout 3 and new Vegas dlc as being on sale today even though it’s not? Is that a site glitch or a sign of an impending sale?

Yes, those are titled sales. When they have titled sales, only a small number of games not already part of those sales get added to the weekly deals on Tuesdays. Even right after titled sales end they only add a minimum of games to the next weekly deals. In fact, it seems like barely anything goes on sale unless they have a titled sale.

Some updates on what's been announced at EA Play:

  • Unravel two was announced and is out today. It features a second, blue Yarny that is attached to red Yarny with a co-op mechanic. You can control both of them with one controller in single-player or play it in co-op with one Yarny per person. You can even carry a Yarny on your back if one person is having trouble getting through a tough area.
  • The other EA Original game is called Sea of Solitude. It's out early 2019. 
  • Respawn's new game is Jedi: Fallen Order. It's set after Episode III when Order 66 is given and most of the Jedi are hunted and killed. It's out Fall 2019.
  • Star Wars Battlefront II is getting some new modes next week as their Han Solo season. They're also working on a big Clone Wars update this Fall that'll add Obi-Wan, General Grievous, Count Dooku, and Anakin.
  • FIFA 19 is getting the UEFA Champions League and there is a FIFA 18 Free Trial to let people play the full game for the next week for free.
  • Battlefield V will be getting a reveal of the first War Story in the Xbox Press Briefing tomorrow.
  • NBA Live 19 will be out 9/7.
  • Anthem will be out 2/22/19.

So is the current Dualshock 4 sale everywhere the best most of you have seen for a New controller?

I saw a post in another thread that Glacier White ones are going for $17 New but practically no gamestops have them in stock.

For the newer colors and iteration of the dualshock 4 (improved thumbstick quality and light coming through touch pad) this is the best price for them, matching Black Friday last year.

If you do buy one go with gamestop they sell a replacement no questions asked warranty for $5.
 
Did Detroit: Become human come with a digital code for Heavy Rain?  Haven't seen Heavy Rain codes on the marketplace, so I assume no.

If you don't know his story, Shaquem Griffin was born with amniotic band syndrome and had his left hand amputated when he was four. He played for Central Florida and was really good despite the obvious lack of a left hand and got drafted fairly late in the most recent draft. EA obviously would have to represent his "disability" in-game, though I'm curious the work that goes into making it work correctly so he can't just pick up a football with the left hand he doesn't have.

You forgot to mention he had one of the best combine workouts EVER for a linebacker. If I remember correctly, he ran the fastest 40 time ever recorded for the position.

Yeah, I dig it. The conversation mechanic takes some getting used to (you "level up" certain skills which can take you down different paths), and the season is cheaper now than when I got it. Problem is, only 2 out of 5 episodes have been released so far and it's the kind of game where you want to play it all at once. But I recommend it if you're a fan of Telltale-type adventure-y games.

Ninja Theory (Hellblade/DmC/Heavenly Sword) and Compulsion Games (We Happy Few) have been purchased by Microsoft, so they're potentially not making anymore games for PS4.

you cant really think they can push out another game before the next xbox comes out? either way, my point is, its a classic purchase by microsoft that without We Happy Few exclusivity will benefit them in no way and probably end up with another closed or "absorbed" studio

Yeah, that was a weird thing. It could be that a Cuphead Definitive Edition happens on PS4/Switch some time after the release of the expansion.

Whoever was expecting it 10 years ago sounds like a dummy considering we were waiting on BBS at that point and that game didn't release until 2010 and it was followed up by 3D in 2012. KH3 has never had an actual release date until now, probably because of the mess that was FFvs13/15. They certainly showed the original trailer too early (2013) but they didn't try to say it was coming soon or anything, the trailer ended with "now in development."

As for delays there isn't much of a reason to expect one, the game is being developed by the studio in Osaka who have made the last few KH games all of which had smooth dev cycles. This will be the third original KH game they've put out in under a decade (well 4th if you want to include 0.2 last year but that was more of a demo for KH3 than anything) so they have a pretty good track record.
