Most games I just get as many as I can. Tho a few I got 100% or platinum because there were only a few left no matter what it took.

I bought Nidhogg. There is a short single player campaign, but it's definitely a game that would be better with two players not unlike Towerfall Ascension. Not a bad game though.

I've had my eye on Nidhogg 2 myself. Just no friends to come over and play with me. And I LOVE Tower fall Ascension. 👍

I'm focusing on Vita TV compatible games this week, and the first Nidhogg works on it with cross buy. Incidentally, Towerfall Ascension is another Vita TV compatible cross buy game. But that one isn't on sale. Luckily, I already own it, and I definitely like it more than Nidhogg.

Also, I just played a game of Neon Chrome and one of the "randomized" characters that I could choose from was named Sarah Hyland. And one of her perks was that she had two extra slots. Coincidence? I think not.

Was just about to start Wolfenstein 2 and checked the trophies. WTF were they thinking? A no death, No save play through on the hardest difficulty?

Yeah, I originally wrote it off because of the graphics, but it was the featured game one night at my local gamespace and I had a chance to play it against other members and really enjoyed it. Even though I don't often get together for couch co-op, I enjoyed it enough to pick it up for the single player and the rare occasions when life slows down long enough that my friends and I can get together and hang out.

I got the platinum for D3 on PS4, same thing. I enjoy playing D3 here and there but I realized one day that I had all but 2 trophies for the plat. One being the 500 bounties... I had 350 more to do. I was so damn sick of them. Still play D3 from time to time.. but will never do that again for the xbox or the Switch version which I admit i'll probably buy also...

 
How long has it been since Sony offered a deal similar to "spend $100 and receive a $x credit"?

Thinking about picking up the PS Now Annual subscription before it goes off sale in about a month but would like to be able to combine it with another deal...

It just went to less than 50% within less than two months. That doesn't happen often anymore. Worse, it's a discount game through and through and ultimately a disappointment after playing a few hours. I used to be enamored with PJ games (Eden, Shooter/2 both amazing) which makes this release that more disappointing

But there are issues outside of that. The art style is cool but other than that I found everything else to be super lazy. They've added "tricky" instances where the monsters will start taking an obscure path and they expect you to be prepared, which is impossible because there are no hints beforehand and humans can't predict the future. All it ends up being is an annoying trial and error, leading you to just want to restart in the middle of playing.

I bought the game on launch day and since then I have literally only been able to connect once with another person. The manner in which they set up online multiplayer is ridiculous.

You basically have to select the specific stage and the specific difficulty (3 for each I believe), hit search, and sit there waiting in hopes that someone is searching for the same exact thing at the same exact time. There should've just been a simple lobby system. The developers do not talk to their customers at all other than retweeting shill accounts. Lastly, I've never seen a single update, which the Switch version desperately needs. I'm definitely not paying full price on any upcoming PJ games.

Cool on the Streets of Rage 4....hopefully it's a good sequel, but we've seen so many hit and misses for revivals, that i'll wait on reviews.

At least we can expect great animation from the guys who handled Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap--whatever you might have thought of the gameplay, the animation was freakin' beautiful.

Thanks, bud. Grabbed Hammerwatch for PS4 since the PC version doesn't recognize my gamepad. Here's hoping we get a slew of PSTV compatible Vita games this afternoon.
 
Besides the Target coupon thing that helped get the price down, how low have PS4 Pro 1TBs gone down before? I did quick search at slick and saw eBay had it at $319 but shipping & CA tax killed the deal and Target had it at $320 but again the tax kills it for me. Anything lower than that? I know Military stores and Navy Exchange is tax free but I don’t think it got that low.

Due to the 15% eBay coupon today, I impulse bought a very good condition PS4 Pro from a top seller, no tax, free shipping with free 30 day return money back, for the total of $318. I used bates 2% cash back for video games & supposedly they’re running a get $5 back when you spend $55+ promo. I haven’t actively seek PS4 Pro deals, so not sure if this was decent. Gonna see how low it’ll get during Labor Day Sale.

Yeah, I've been checking and it hasn't been available lately. Apparently Amazon has been doing this with Sony titles dating back to God of War at least. I wouldn't be surprised if the fact that Amazon got rid of the 20% pre-order discount has something to do with it showing up now. I would have bought it with the 20% discount, I don't think I'm in with the $10 credit.

The $10 credit is huge for me if it applies to digital games - especially Xbox One personally. Really hoping RDR2 and a few others show up soon.

So for the previous week and a half all of the DLC for Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash was on sale as part of the Blockbuster Sale, but not the base game. Today all of the DLC is no longer on sale, but the base game is. This seem exactly backwards.
