#1. I feel the $15 for 11 games is pretty good, but to each their own.

#2. Bought last bundle and only two were in that bundle if I remember correctly.

#3. That may be, but even owning 4 of the 11, I felt the $15 for the 7 I didn't was worth it.
 
 I'm getting to the point with deals that unless it blows me away, i'm getting less and less interested.  There are just too many "free" options that i'm already locking myself into.  I realize this is a PSN thread, but I see stuff like PS Plus, Xbox Gold/GWG, Gamepass, EA Access, etc. as a very good deal for regularly getting "free" stuff.  Those services are already overwhelming me with new stock, so it's getting harder and harder to want to pay for anything.  Especially mediocre sales or mediocre humble bundles, etc.

No, it is a complete remake using the engine from Yakuza 5. The ps2 original was butt ugly and took forever to load every time you got into a fight. Also, the controls were sluggish and could not keep up with enemies.

I'd say it got a good bit more. Afaik Spyro and Crash effectively reproduced the original games exactly. Kiwami brought a bunch of minigames that were added later in the series back into Kiwami to make the city more interesting.

I just learned I own (PS+ I guess) Yakuza 3 AND 4. If I ever play this one, does it matter that I play it first or in any order.
Like GTA games don't need to be played in order. This is like that?

TLOU is a walking simulator now? Ummm.. ok.

You can play Yakuza in any order but if you truly want to understand the story of Kazuma Kiryu, that entails playing all 7 games.

Yakuza 6 is the end of his story. I have not played Yakuza 6, 2, and 3. But enjoyed the ones I did play, as stand alone titles. My favorite is Yakuza 0. Great game and one of the best of 2017. Which is saying a lot considering 2017 was loaded with great titles across all genre’s.

Ugh. Deus Ex dlc on ps3 was on sale October 2017. Hasn't been on sale since then. Didn't think it would never go on sale again. Also, I wish they would release Deus Ex Go. It's on mobile so I kept hoping that it would transition here but I'm doubtful

Yeah, Kenzan was the first on ps3 to use the new engine. Kenzan, 3, 4, and Dead souls/of the end all used it. Dead souls/of the end gave it a send off by sega "destroying" Kamaracho. The "end of that engine. A new engine was made for 5. The games that used it were 5, Ishin, 0, and Kiwami. Then 6 and Kiwami 2 use the Dragon engine.

 
Runner 3 is finally coming to the PS4 next week with a lot of improvements based on complaints about the Switch version.  The game will cost $19.99, but will be half off for the first two weeks.

 
Despite Yakuza 0 being an objectively better game, I would still recommend giving Kiwami a shot if you have any interest in the series. It's actually not a bad way to approach the games since you won't experience the downgrade if you play Kiwami before 0. Kiwami may be a ground-up remake with some new content, but it's still a game from 2005 at heart and you can feel that at times. That said, if you're wanting to understand the story to play the games that come after it, Kiwami is the most important one to play in that regard. Then if you come away from Kiwami wanting to play more, you have either it's direct sequel (Kiwami 2) or Yakuza 0 (one of the best games of this generation in my opinion) to choose from.

Yakuza 1 and 2 were two of the only PS2 games that I ever completed. I have new copies of Yakuza 0 and Kiwami in my backlog right now, so I was wondering which to play first. I was expecting Kiwami to be less advanced than 0, so it's good to know that is the case. I will play both at some point since the games in the Yakuza series are always good goofy fun.

Purchase the directors cut. That has all dlc correct.

That can be had for real cheap
 
Yeah but i don't feel like playing the whole game all over again. Besides if I recall correctly, there's a major glitch in the director's cut of the game. I was just making the point that in the past, you could rely on PSN repeating sales, and improving the discounts. This now shows that sometimes there's a sale, but it won't reappear.

How can games not have screenshots on Sony's store? I suppose this might be a sales strategy for some ultra cheap games, but Sony should have a requirement of video and screenshots for any game listed.

Also, yes, I know there's probably a ton of content elsewhere like Youtube that helps on this issue, but i'm an old man looking for something to complain about today.

I've seen it and it's essentially a vertical Pong game that looks like generally like a tennis match. The graphics remind me of a Sega Master System game.

But you are absolutely correct. Games need to have screenshots and a gameplay video.
