Digital code. Sony couldn't help me because it was a digital code (seems like they have ways to help if it's a physical card with the bar code etc.) but they did mention specifically Amazon and Costco having issues cancelling codes before they're redeemed.

Going to keep going through the single player game backlog and hope to see a deal pop up for Christmas unless some amazing PS+ only sales force my hand.

Well this is good news. I held off on the import disc due to the UK's censored version and Detroit is still sealed, so back to the store that goes. :)

This is great !!!!! I have gcu and a $5 coupon to use and I haven’t played Detroit yet. Also I’ve been wanting to play the other two games again. Does this collection mean that Detroit’s Msrp is dropping since it’s currently $39.99 by itself ?
 
I have a strong feeling that the Quantic Dream Collection is gonna be a disc for Detroit, and a DLC code for the other two games.  Can anyone confirm/deny?

I think they're slower at awarding points now. I have the Playstation credit card, and since they updated the site, my credit card points posted 2 weeks later than they normally do (or used to). Also, you don't get digital codes instantly anymore. I ordered a $10 psn code last Friday to use in the flash sale, and here we are on Wednesday and it's still processing.

That's a good trio of games. Too bad Quantic Dream doesn't count Indigo Prophecy amongst its collection and refuses to ever put it on sale. It's their only game I don't own yet.

My points haven't been updated since 10/27. They haven't responded to any of my inquiries either. When you click Rewards, it still says "A new pass experience is coming soon." I highly doubt any of my past month's purchases will count.

 
Last points I got rewarded was for silver trophies on 10/24.  No way it should take Sony this long to get this site up to snuff, they clearly don't give a  fuck about it or rewarding loyal customers.

Damn!  I just bought Detroit Digital Deluxe Edition for $27.49 during the Black Friday sale since it comes with Heavy Rain and neither it nor Beyond: Two Souls had been on sale for over two years.  Now they release this, and physically no less. :wall:

At Sony Rewards the last reward points I got were from a 10/23 purchase; before the site revamp. I haven't received any points for my purchases since the relaunch. That goes back to a purchase made on 11/9. Since several people seem to be having the same issue I'm guessing Sony Rewards still needs a lot of work.

And I'm not seeing any signs that trophy passes are continuing for their final run. I'll hold off on earning platinums for a while.

Microsoft started their Game Awards Sale last night and the PSN store updates at 11am EST every day, so I expect we'll see something today.

 
I'm still salty about the Game Awards not giving game of the year to Horizon Zero Dawn last year.  Instead of recognizing an amazing, brilliant, original game they gave it to the umpteenth Zelda sequel (which may well be very good, but still).

I mean they’ll probably give it to Fortnite this year even though we have Spider-Man and Red Dead both releasing.

I don’t care about the awards. I just want to see the announcements.

According to your post you haven't even played Breath of the Wild so why would you be salty? Also the award is for best game of the year not most original game of the year. So penalizing a game that is a sequel makes no sense.

Astro Bot should be up for GOTY, not just in the VR category. I haven't played the newest Assassin's Creed, but it is hard to believe that it would be better than Astro Bot.

I sure hope Red Dead wins because it's the best game I've played in a very long time and there have been some bad ass games dropping this year so it had plenty of competition and still reigned supreme for me.
 
I'm excited for the game awards tonight: "there will be at least 10 brand-new game reveals in all, not including new trailers for previously announced games or DLC announcements"
