I was disappointed in the graphics of the outdoor environments, nowhere near as impressive as people talk about it. Grass looks like its at 800X600

Heads up! Here is an exploit to extend the demo!

"When you kill the runners and clicker at the end of the demo, pause the game and choose 'Restart Encounter'. You will be able to play the next segment of the game."
Is it actually an official PlayStation Russia page? Looking it over, they link to content and videos from a lot of PS3 fan sites and there's even a post speculating if Sega's returning to the console business, which makes me think that it's just a fan page. If you visit the official PlayStation Russia site, their facebook page is what's front-and-center for their community outreach, not this vk.com page.
There's also a screencap of a tweet from Major Nelson. I really don't see an official Playstation website doing something like that.

Holy blooping fuck, I can't even get through the demo... keep dying on the fight part and I keep having a really hard time bringing myself to push X. I like purposeful horror games and this hits all the right notes but I would have such a hard time bringing myself to actually get through it 5 minutes at a time.

The marketing is so weak no wonder 360 did better. The MarketP stinks and makes me blah moving around it which makes me not buy much... 360 i filled 200 gb of dlc but hard to care about buying on ps3... The EU+ so much better like showing a kid they got a wonka bar and you got your moms fudge... wonka wonka!

Part of the problem is that MS has been really consistent since day one on their core strategy and even as they shifted to kinect and "entertainment" that didn't really change the core message. Sony on the other hand has never quite seemed to have that clear plan and has been all over the place with message. When they have finally found something though they kept panicking and jumped to something else that didn't work.

The ability to shop and queue everything up through the web store is so much better, the on console store isn't set up bad but so freaking slow and who came up with that search.

I heard that the demo is running on a few months old build of the game.

Yeah i get errors alot when buying on system. The DLC is so limited on the ps3 i noticed big time... I miss buying stuff but 360 got sorta meh. I hope this stuff does not carry over to ps4.

I don't see why they can't take a dig at their competitors. In fact, there's a PS4 ad out right now that says "We will also use your TV. For gaming."

That's a mock ad from NeoGaf.
I'm in the middle of it and liking it so far. Better than Rorona, but I haven't decided it I like it better than Ayesha yet. I think it looks great on the Vita screen, too.
Oh cool. I know the game is already beautiful and i heard it suffers from framerate drop or something which i don't really care about. And is there any monsters besides bunnies and animals lol? Would proab pick it up

Oh, really? That's the first gaming ad I paid attention to all year. It works great for crap like this - I don't like it in political campaigns.

That's not how businesses work. And no, that vk.com site is clearly not official.

I think Microsoft and Sony should have a big ol cookout with a campfire at night and smores. Actually that would be quite funny to watch haha.

Yeah, I've fought a small dragon or two and some flying centipede things.
Sure, companies take digs at their competitors' products, typically in a whimsical way. But they won't call out individuals that work for their competition. It's bad sportsmanship.
Yeah, that's my feeling as well. But who knows, it's not overly important. It will all come out in the wash in time.
Been playing through my vita backlog and just finished Machinarium and Sine Mora. Can someone send a link or spoiler alert whatever it was that just happened in Sine Mora.

Was it a son goes to drop a big bomb, gets shot in the process so his dad goes back into time to prevent the bomb and save his son only to have his son (who is going under another name) accidentally kill his dad? Then some lady was a terrorist or deemed one after the final stage.
You have it pretty much spot on as far as I could keep up. There were a few other small twists:

Such as his dad taking vengeance on his sons crew was what drew the attention and got his son put on the case. His son was also never shot, it was the other pilot but the government, or whoever the "bad guys" were, changed the names in the story and had the son go undercover with the actual dead pilot's name. Technically all the characters you played as were terrorists, though with varied motivations and allegiance.

Demos often used compressed graphics (smaller file size) and old builds. You can never judge graphics off a demo.
Still hoping for Catherine:pray:
Wouldn't mind that, though I would rather this be the month they suddenly decide to give us what Europe has.
Looks like Guacamelee is finally getting some DLC this week. Not much in terms of new quests/missions but still seems pretty cool for $1.99 DLC Info
Not much? More like none at all. This DLC is just a costume pack with trophies.

They are patching in the ability to easily switch between Juan and Tostada on the Vita and PS3, which I thought was cool. This feature will be free to everyone, and is not part of the DLC.

I love it when developers make simple, fun stuff like that free to gamers instead of DLC.

As for the paid dlc, I think that's more of a donate $2 to the developer if you love the game and want to support them and furture games (atleast for indie developers). So I don't mind if its just costumes and trophies. When I do pick up the game in the future, I'll probably drop the dos dolares for it.

What is more interesting is what's leaving on June 11th... 3 PS3 IGC games.

Leaving PS Plus In June

 • June 4th – Sleeping Dogs
 • June 11th – Closure
 • June 11th – Ratchet & Clank All 4 One
 • June 11th – inFAMOUS 2
 • June 11th – LittleBigPlanet 2
 • June 18th – SOULCALIBUR: Broken Destiny
 • June 25th – BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND

Holy shit, really stoked to get Virtue: Last Reward and Machinarium. Already have the two PS3 games on the 360, but they are fantastic additions as well.

Damn, Portal 2 for $10 bucks will be an instant purchase as well. Anyone have feedback on the DLC for it? I had never even heard of it before.

I am most definitely down for Zero Escape! Looks like it's finally time for me to play "999" on my ds before I play Zero! Saint's row, Machinarium, and Deus Ex are all sweet editions to plus for those that don't have them but I do unfortunately.

I don't know where the hell Orc Attack came from haha. Anybody know anything about that one?
Deus Ex is free tomorrow for PS+! Also coming this month is Saint's Row The Third, Machinarium (PS3), Orc Attack (Vita), and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward.
2 PS3 games (physical copies of those games) for the month of June? Not bad at all...

And I see the 3 main Sony games are off the list next week. Perhaps it will be 3 new Sony Games announced at E3?

Nice additions. I'm happy about Machinarium crossbuy. I bought the PS3 version on that good sale in December before the Vita version came out, so at least I can now get the Vita version too.

$10 for Portal 2 is also pretty impressive.

I flat-out recommend Zero Escape if you like story-driven games. There's multiple paths to take and numerous endings you can obtain. If trophies are your thing, it's simply just a matter of playing through the game and getting all the endings, which isn't that difficult. While playing the prequel, 999, on DS is recommended due to the fact some of the plot twists will have more of an impact, it isn't fully required and can still be enjoyed (I still need to get 999, but still had a great time with Zero Escape's story).

I assumed some of these were the new IGC titles, but the math doesn't add up when you look at it, so this gets me pretty excited. So this means we'll have 8 new titles announced during the month of June? PS Plus has got to be one of the best values of any program ever (video games or otherwise). I just wonder how it's all going to play out long term. Until then, i'm enjoying the ride...

While this update is not great for me personally (already bought Machinarium and have already played Saint's Row 3) I am glad that there was finally an update a bit more on par with Europe to hopefully quiet some of the bitching. I will have to see if Deus Ex is something I am even remotely interested in playing.

Plus, it looks like we will definitely be getting 3 new long term titles announced at E3. I hope those are something I have not already played, but that is probably unlikely since I have played so many Sony exclusives.

Excellent work on that guide. Highly recommended. I like your guides.
Zero Escape is awesome. For you trophy hunters, it's very easy to plat this game as well. I've put together a guide on PS3T that reduces the amount of repeating that you'll have to do, and also gives all puzzle solutions if you're lazy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/game/zero-escape-virtues-last-reward/guide/

That being said...I recommend you just play through on your own as the game is awesome and not hard at all.
That's wishful thinking.
Wow! Very impressed with this months PS+ offerings. I hope this means little to no bitching :D
I just noticed -

Let’s Fish! Hooked On (PS Vita)
50% Discount – PSN Price: &19.99, $10.00 for PS Plus members

OMGOMGOMG. GotY.

Deus Ex is an excellent game, unfortunately I've owned it for some time now. I could never get into Saints Row: The Third, the humor was not my taste and the gameplay didn't click for me but at least Portal 2 is on sale, that price is a steal for that game. Now I'm really excited for any new PS+ games for E3.
