Do we have further evidence on this one? If so I need to dump my physical copy ASAP

Read the previous page if you haven't already, it looks like there's a Gamestop standing cardboard ad that is advertising it as part of the IGC. Certainly not confirmation, but the mention of extremely obtuse games like Germinator and Pax's Tuffle Trouble seem to make me think that it could be legit.

We probably won't hear confirmation until the first Monday in May.

Ah thanks, I didn't click the spoiler because I'm on mobile...
Glad that everybody will be able to play this awesome awesome game though.

Hm. I would prefer Batman AC over Sleeping Dogs. I also hope Germinator (I liked the PS3 demo) is cross-buy, but it'll probably be Vita only?

Leaving Soon??
-Demon's Souls Get Sleeping Dogs
-Tekken 6 Get Germinator
-Darksiders Get Pax's Truffle Trouble
-Mega Man 9 and 10 Get Pinball Arcade
No, I hope this isn't true. I never heard of any of these games except for Sleeping Dogs which I already beat.
Isn't part of the point is to try out games you might not have heard of?

Happy about Sleeping Dogs because I haven't gotten it yet. Also, funny people wanting Batman: AC when it is the older game.

I'll be fired up if Pinball Arcade is coming free to Plus. Almost pulled the trigger on it so many times, but I play it enough on my iPhone that I haven't been able to bring myself to spend the money to have it on my TV as well. Be even sweeter if deals on tables came with it, but I'll be more than satisfied with just the main offering.
Does anybody these digital versions has been compatible with old disc game saves in the past? Tia.

Huh?
I think he wants to know if any of these games have issues using save files from retail/digital copies (like Spec Ops, which creates two separate files). I believe Frisky was compiling a thread about this, though the link escapes me.

That thread is over here, which anybody that can offer up their own answers about which games work with disc save should post/update.

I don't know which titles TooPoor was even talking about.

I'm curious as to whether Sleeping Dogs has seperate saves too. I'll switch to digital as long as I don't lose my progress, otherwise I'll just keep my physical copy.

Thanks, I just need to know if this is an issue.

This is my concern actually, hence I want to look at the history of which games did not carry over, I will look at that thread, didn't even know there was a thread about it, thanks guys.

It doesn't seem like Sleeping Dogs has a Full Game Trial, but those would an easy way to see if your disc saves work with the digital version for any game in the future that has them. I'll have to try out a couple so I can add some more games to the thread that I maintain on this.
Are there any UK CAG's here? Anyone know what the cheapest UK PSN card is? Lowest one I've seen so far is £16.
Cheapest you can get is a 5 pound card but you would probably have to ask someone from the UK to buy it for you if you want to pay face value.

yeah i locked in sleeping dogs ps3 on amazon for 16.xx just in case.
fantastic great game. like a serious saints row. yakuza/gta. i thought it was awesome.
oh yeah and some just cause mixed in when you go for those jumps car to car which is cool.
Wei Chen is invincible crazy tho, takes a screwdriver to the knee and chest and then jumpkicks everyone to death. bad ass.

Thanks. Right after I posted I found Game.co.uk, I was able to get right up to the "place order" page with a £10 card, but realized the Injustice season pass needs £12.

I'm just playing don't bash me fellas...This is one of my favorite games of the year, had a discussion with it with IATCG back when he was around about the superb voice cast. I am disappointed at how poor it sold, probably won't see a sequel.
so Blood Dragon doesn't require the base game to play it right?
Blood Dragon is a stand alone game and has its own trophy list.

Actually, they called it a strong new IP, though I don't know how Wada's departure affects its chance of a sequel since he stood up for the game. They also would've stopped the DLC a lot sooner if it didn't do well at all.

Hmm, I do recall conflicting reports (you never know who to trust when it comes to sales). But I do hope they get a sequel, I will break my MSRP habit for it.

EDIT: Read the article more carefully, and I see that my initial memories are of the reported false assumption that this one is trying to clarify.

It won't save the vita but it doesn't need to. forumites need to look up "long term business plan"

got my copy preordered. my hands were tied since the japanese VA is a preorder bonus

Along with the original story and gameplay, there are some new features, including improved HD graphics, an updated control system, a brand new scenario from the game’s director, Hidetaka Swery Suehiro, and DLC to keep the mystery going once you complete the main campaign.

From 'The Drop' in the Deadly Premonition:DC text.

Anyone heard about this DLC? Loved the original game, excited to play it in HD, with updated controls and trophies, but is this going to be day 1 DLC? Anyone have info?

Downloadable Content
Additional content exclusive to download via PSN will be available, including new costumes for York and residents of Greenvale as well as usable items to aid your investigation.
http://www.deadlypremonitionthegame.com/information.php

Seems to be small stuff, some of which is already available as pre-order DLC.

I know there's the retailer specific "suits," which I'm not interested in... don't like paying to make a game easier. I'd read rumors when the game was in development that York may be able to have a house in town this time around. Websites have been hinting there's ""downloadable content so plush, that Agent York (and Zach) will feel like their investigation in the small country town of Greenvale just turned into a vacation."

So that could be it.

Really want this game to succeed this time around, love to see more from these guys. Just hate day-one DLC. Curious what's exclusive to pre-orders and what you'll have to fork over for the day you pop in the disc.

Any thoughts on Darkside VS Umbrella chronicles? I only have enough for one atm. The trophy guide for one of them suggest using a DS3 rather than move also...is it that shaky?

HOTD and DS:E seemed to play fine for me if that matters. I definitely don't want to get a rail shooter thats better played with a DS3 though.

They both play the same/similar from what I have tried out (did a quick 1st level play through using a sharpshooter with both).

Do you have a favorite RE game? Umbrella Chronicles covers RE:Zero, RE1, and RE3 story lines. Darkside Chronicles covers RE2 and Code Veronica story lines.

It means it won't be offered for free anymore. You can still download it if you "purchased it", but you can't purchase it for free after that point.

Hrm. Some sleuthing dug this up, a poster for the EU pre-order Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut. They seem to be getting four cars as pre-order DLC. Wonder how much there'll be to this...

Large image is large, spoilertagged.

It's yours to play for as long as your subscription lasts, but it won't be available for "purchase" after Tuesday's update so you'd need to get it before Tuesday afternoon.

The PS Store updates every Tuesday afternoon/evening. There are usually at least two free Vita games, or at least games playable on Vita, offered every month.

if you mean free for PS+, there is almost always 1-2 every month. As long as you click the purchase/download button on the content you want (which should be everything, just in case), you can download it and play it as long as you are a subscriber. Even if it is no longer offered, it will be in your download queue, and say "Purchased" on the store page. You probably should just splurge and get the 32gb card, just for conveniences sake, or wait until E3 when a card price drop/bigger cards, might be announced.

EDIT: Ninja'd be Frisky...well isn't that ironic:lol:

If you're asking about specifics of the DLC plan they have, there's nothing about that that I can find. It does say on the official site that I linked that they have plans for post-launch content, so it could have more elaborate stuff even though it's not really mentioned anywhere.

Thanks for looking around too, Frisky. All I can come up with is foreign marketing materials. Ordered it from Amazon- had $39 in credit sitting there, and I've got a soft spot for Swery and Rising Star Games. Plus I really dug it on the 360, so I'll bite.

Breaking my rule about release day buying though :/
