Quick question, and my apologies if this has been answered: If I purchase Playstation Battle Royale for PS3 through digital, do I receive the Vita version as well?
 
Son of a... and after all that effort I put in to find people to boost with for Blazblue Vita... sigh.

Clarification: You need 3 people for about 15 minutes for 3 of the trophies for Blazblue. It's not hard to get 2 people for the ranked matches (but the online has enough people that it is still doable).

Also, I don't care about any of the free games this month otherwise. Double sigh.

Darn first month since I got Plus 2 years ago where all the free games I already own! Might trade in my copy of Blazblue but saving as much room on my 16gb card as possible is crucial so might have to keep it...

The opposite for me dont have any of them.

I am interested to play sleeping dogs and knytt underground. And I will probably give blazblue a chance, although I assume I will hate it.

You don't need to do that much work. If it says "PSP | PS Vita" as the platform on the PS3's PS Store or the web store, it's directly available on the Vita's PS Store.

Damn, BlazBlue on Vita would be nice to have played (though I played it on PS3), but can't get it due to my sub/master account issues.

Wasn't Knytt Underground released &/or discounted not too long ago? Feels like it was discussed recently. Edit: Released in Dec. 2012. Wonder if I was thinking of that.

Trouble is, I can see them adding two more Vita fighters. Mortal Kombat, and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, which are both excellent at least...

Day 1 Discount in December.
40% off in February.
50% off in March.

A little bit frustrating (I bought it when it was 40% off) but it was my fault for buying then. I know that cross-buy games are always huge candidates for PS+, and the fact it was on EU PS+ already made it an even bigger candidate. I played it and beat it and enjoyed it so it's not too bad. More than likely I'll be regretting buying Big Sky Infinity in the next couple months though.

Pinball Arcade was also 50% off in November, but that is a very fair 6 month gap between it going on sale and being free.

Cool! I wanted to try Sleeping Dogs (this is faster than trying to borrow it from my friend) and Kyntt Underground (although I'm a bit dismayed that the third chapter apparently has a character start swearing up a storm for no reason, gonna have to play that when the kids are asleep) and Blazblue.

And to play devil's advocate to the "sigh another fighter people"...I say "yay, it's not another puzzle game!" :lol:
 
Definitely excited for the May Plus offerings. Sleeping Dogs is a tremendous addition, but I am excited for every other release as well. Blazblue is the first Vita retail fighter being dropped, so I am happy for that..plus I have never played that series at all. Knytt Underground and Pinball Arcade are two others I almost bought a few times now, but passed on in the end. Great to see them added here though.
 
I wish we could vote on what games will be available for PS Plus. Im getting so tired of SEN playing with my emotions. Watch Papa and Yo be a drop for June or July.

There's no audio dialogue, it's all text. So unless the kids are a little bit older and really pay attention to what you play, the swearing shouldn't be too big of a deal.

this is the only reason holding me back from buying it, $9 is not bad deal but I know it will be free for ps+ before the year is out

Now this would annoy me since this is the only game I have bought this year at full retail. No promotions or anything either, also grabbed it digital. But it is a great game.

Would love to have the regular DOA5 for PS3 be free though since I have that one on 360. :)

Wow, I guess I am the only that feels it is easy to turn a Vita on and go to the store. Maybe mine is much simpler to access than others.

I know this isn't the place, but when replacing my PS3 hard drive, do I need to back up my data first? I don't have an external hard drive to back up to. I'll upload the saves I want to the cloud and just redownload my games. That won't be a problem, right?

You are correct, assuming that they are games from your main PS3 account. I would deactivate your account from the old HDD though, in case you need that activation slot at a later time.

I think you need an external drive or USB stick to transfer the updated firmware to your new drive.
 
If I buy the PS3 version of Thieves in Time through this sale is it still cross-buy? Not seeing mention of it on the web store.

edit: nevermind, a quick ctrl-F confirmed it is cross-buy still.
 
Quite the nice offering in May for me.

The only game I'm not interested in is the Pinball one and even that's not a bad title to just have around in case I get bored.
 
Tried the demo for FFA, and it was actually not to bad. Felt much more like a classic R&C game than A4O, and with a co op partner I can see it being a lot of fun (will try to take you up on your offer Bumslie;)). Hopefully the little slow down I experienced was only for the demo (seems to be the case many times). One thing I could do without though are all the memes, I mean, why are they in here at all (LOL, Epic Fail, and U Mad Bro all made appearances in the span of about 3 minutes). Just feels kinda dumb IMO.

I think I will just consider it a pre order bonus for Deadlocked, and then if it turns out to suck I won't have as much buyer's remorse (I have weird logic sometimes);)
 
Ouch, I already own Knytt Underground and BB:CSE on Vita, and I have Sleeping Dogs on Steam. Pretty happy with Pinball Arcade though, and at least more people will get exposed to Knytt who otherwise might never have tried it.
 
Damn already have Sleeping Dogs for EU+. Some good ass games lately (Vanquish and now SD) but they've both already been free for EU.

Oh well will make it easier to let my EU+ lapse next year when the time comes.

Still psyched for Fatal Frame II. Fun game what I played of it a few years ago.
 
3 games coming to the IGC that I thought about buying and held off as I didn't feel like wasting money. AND NOW THEY'RE FREEEEEEEEEEE! Win, me.
 
Sleeping Dogs and Knytt are both new to me, so hooray! Probably won't be able to pull away from Soul Sacrifice for a while though so Knytt will just have to hang out in the old queue.
