I was able to get one off CL about a year ago for 150; 3G version with memory card and Ninja Gaiden Sigma. The Vita is an incredible piece of hardware. I love being able to pause Persona 4 Golden on the fly and look something up on the Vita's browser (class questions, grrr). I practically bought a laptop for that gaming purpose and now I don't even use it, haha.
Yeah, I'm still in the honeymoon phase with mine. I played my wife's DS now and again and enjoyed it, but man is Vita's screen purrdy. It also helps that I have been PS+ from the beginning so have amassed a pretty big Vita backlog already.
quick update on the MGS legacy collection, it seems Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid: VR Mission won't be on-disc instead they included psn download vouchers for both games
Konami confirmed earlier that it was the PSone Classics version of MGS1. What I wanna know is if we'll get that artbook.
They usually add two games for the Vita each month.
I didn't realize they did two Vita only games a month, I guess I have not paid appropriate attention.

Either a Vita-exclusive (or cross-buy with PS3) title or a PSP game that is compatible on Vita. Been at least 2 a month since Vita was introduced to the IGC.

Yea, I've known there have been multiple Vita compatible games, but I was thinking more in terms of Vita only games. Either way though, in the end, you were (thankfully) correct and my fears were unfounded. I am happy to be getting the Vita version. :D

It was the week of its release, but not anymore.

What does this even mean?#-o

For anyone like me who was confused by Pinball Arcade not having cross-buy listed in the graphic or Vita listed as a platform except in the description, Morgan confirmed in the comments that Pinball Arcade is PS3+Vita.

PSN is free. Feel free to join.

PS+ is $18/3 months, or $50/year. I suggest you join, but that's totally up to you. However, you don't necessarily need to post here every time you waffle on this decision.

Damn, I was able to edit it even before CAG notes that an edit was made, yet you were still able to catch my mistake. :whistle2:(
Does Secret Agent Clank utilize the second analog stick if downloaded on Vita? If not, I'll just pick up the UMD for my PSP instead as I prefer physical media.
Technically, all PSP games on the Vita can use the right stick since that's a part of the emulator to allow typical methods of controlling the camera on the PSP to be remapped to it. Secret Agent Clank uses the shoulder buttons for that, which is one of the options you can use to remap it to the right stick.

As long as the sub is still active, you can redownload the free games as much as you need.
any game you purchase, you can delete/download again. The free games on the other hand you cant unless you still have ps+
You can download and play them as many times as you like, provided you are still a PS+ subscriber. You can only have them activated on two PS3/PSP/PS Vita systems at once, but that is true of all PSN purchases, AFAIK.

PS+ is totally worth it BTW. I only subbed back in february/march, and so wish I'd done it earlier. Something new each month, and great discounts on almost all sales. If you buy a lot of stuff on PSN sales already, it will practically pay for itself:bouncy:
Congrats to all the new dads roaming around here. My son just turned 7 months and I got a Vita about two weeks ago. It is definitely easier to get some gaming in on it than on the TV. The ability to suspend a game at anytime is a godsend.
My kids just turned 6 and 4, but I love the Vita for sneaking in some gaming time when we do movie nights and they're watching Wreck-It-Ralph for the 100th time. Being able to suspend play at any moment = best feature ever, too.

And yeah, to all the new dads (congrats, by the way!), newborns sleep a lot. I'll always associate my daughter's time as a newborn with Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. :D

Hrm. Hadn't thought about that when I put a new terabyte drive in my PS3. Should I have tweaked a setting on the old one before swapping it out to deregister it? Am I up to my max two slots full now with the new drive installed?

Thanks for all those helping me on the PSN thing.. like i said i had my vita for a year but never took it online until last month.....so this is still new for me :)

The PS3 and Vita/PSP (yes Vita and PSP count as the same thing) have unlimited "slots" so to speak. But the first two systems to download each piece of content will be the only two systems that can use said content unless you deactivate one of them.

It is on a per system basis, not HDD, so replacing a HDD will not impact your limit at all. Also, you can deactivate systems remotely on the internet now, so if your system breaks or you trade/sell it you can still remove it later on.

Nope, no need. It recognizes the PS3 hardware itself, not the drive. It's the same reason you can plug your old PS3 drive back assuming you don't reformat it in and it will be like it was never out.

Everybody talking about being dads and gaming. My daughter will be seven in December. When she was born she would not sleep unless she was in some sort of motion. So I would wrap her up really tight in her baby blanket and put my feet on the coffee table so my knees were bent. Plop the mini-me down on my legs and just sway them back and forth.

HANDS FREE FOR GAMING!!!

And my ex-wife would never complain because I was keeping her asleep and it gave us silence.

Yes...EX-wife. And, yes, I have full custody and the little one lives with ME. I win.

hmm was Ghost of Sparta PSP ever on sale/bundle in any form?
Would love to play it on my Vita

(or does the HD game support Remote Play)
It seems so strange that they had PS All Stars on sale (both versions) and seemingly every game that lent a character to the game, but no sale on the DLC?
The first character pack was free and the second one was free with Ascension, so I doubt they see much value in discounting them.

There is a flyer that has The Last of Us on one side and an Ad for the DLC characters on the other. If you open this paper up, you'll find a DLC code for Isaac and Zeus.

Doesn't support remote play. GOW 1+2 do from saga. Not in another sale recently I can recall.
Wasn't there someone on here that likes Ultraviolet codes? I think it was affa. If so, you can have my Cabin in the Woods one.
great memory! i do love them, but i already have CitW (i love that movie).
Thank you very much for thinking of me, though.

to keep this on topic... um...

here's hoping they have a big sale on pinball arcade tables to go along with the ps+ offering. such a solid game.
It is if you plan to play online or with friends.
ok thanks for the input and looks like i will not be buying the game.

Thanks again man. That code was tricky. The back of that pamphlet/flyer makes it look like any random ad for PS All Stars and upcoming DLC. I had no idea that if you opened that pamphlet up there was a code inside. Sweet!

Anyone else unable to sign in? Was playing Demon Souls fine the majority of the night, exit to go to the store only to get errors, restarted PS3 and can't log into PSN.
