Man I was losing sleep over who actually got that 5000th post.

Seriously. Who in the world would pay $15 for Limbo? Don't even have to be "cheap" to find that unconscionable. And, then, to make matters stranger it was already given away in the IGC and humble bundle. Bad move.

I don't mind the $15 price point to begin with. There will be sales, it will be made cheaper at times, but for those that want to play it on the go, with trophies, the price is not that unreasonable to me.

Ill play it again when its on sale for the reasons above.

Value obviously varies from person to person, but I can't see how a nearly 3-year old port that's been available for much cheaper on other platforms is worth that much. The game isn't even very long. And, I don't consider "trophies" content. I appreciate the devs' efforts, though, as it is an awesome game.

If you all think $15 is bad for Limbo, take a look at that new PSN game called Mountiain Crime: Requital. Its a hidden object game and they are asking $15 for it as well!

I only looked at it because my wife and daughter like those games, but I was expecting it to be $5. $15 is nucking futs.
I hope June is a better month for PS3 PS+. I got excited for free Blazblue then I realized it's for Vita.
Didn't we get Sleeping Dogs for the PS3 this month? I thought that was a pretty solid offering.

Amalur, Hitman Abs, Batman AC -- any of those in June and I'll be happy. EU got a pretty good bonanza for June alone (Amalur, ICO/SOTC and Demon Souls all released on the same day - 5/29!), so maybe they'll try to wow us in the month of E3...maybe...

I'll post it again closer to the game's release, but Dragon's Crown will have free DLC that changes the narrator's voice to one of the 6 characters for about a month after the game's release on August 6th, then it'll be $1.99 for the pack around Sept. 6th (I'm gonna guess the 3rd since it's the Tuesday closest to that date).

http://www.rockband.com/blog/information-about-rock-band-dlc-re-licensing

A few Rock Band songs expire on June 30, so grab them if you want them:
We have some information about new songs being removed from the Rock Band Music Store. As mentioned in the previous blog post (available below), a limited number of song licenses for Rock Band DLC songs are expiring. This will be occurring on a quarterly basis. We wanted to give you a heads up that the following songs are scheduled to be removed from the store on June 30, 2013. If you already own them, they will still be in your library, and you will be able to re-download them if necessary.

Promised Land is free, so you should at least grab that song.

Yeah good addition, but overall I was disappointed.

EU PS+ has been amazing from what I've seen.

I was shocked to see that too, especially since the PC version is $10 or less, the game is a year and a half old, and hidden object games usually tank on consoles.
late to the party, but imo the best wife game on PSN is PixelJunk Monsters. I don't know why or how they made a tower defense game my wife loves, but they did. and i've heard the same from others. it's a solid coop experience, challenging enough for me and cute enough for her... and a great game in general. we had an absolute blast rainbowing all the levels.

my wife also liked stacking.
Thanks for the tip about PixelJunk Monsters for some spousal co-op. It was on my radar as a possibility, now I have even more reason to check it out. On this same note, my wife and I started The Cave this week (finally, I know). Our first run through went pretty well, it's a nice combination of actiony-type stuff with puzzle solving. A while back I remember someone indicating that it reminded them of the old Lost Vikings title and I couldn't agree more. If you enjoyed playing Lost Vikings in your youth with a sibling like I did The Cave will make you feel right at home.

I really enjoyed the cave, though I think reviews in the 7 range were spot on about all the glitches, and the fact you have to replay the game at minimum 5 times to see all the endings. The only major problem I had though was that I really wish I'd know you could get good endings. I don't have enough motivation to go through it another three times, so I guess I will have to live with the depressing conclusions I got:cry:

I'm sure you could find the other endings on YouTube if you really wanted to see them. Since they're just stills, you might even just be able to find pictures of them somewhere online.

You can't. Others can. That's awesome you don't see trophies as content. It is a huge factor in other's purchasing decisions. There are many games that release @ higher price that a lot of people don't consider awesome. I don't think Limbo releasing at $15 is really rage worthy. I can understand that they want to maximize their profits for those that will pony up the $15, then swoop in and get the CAGs at cheaper prices a bit later.

So I added the R&C FFA disc to my account to try to get Deadlocked, and panicked when it took me to the PS Store for FFA Vita (and Deadlocked showed as 9.99), but then I went ahead with the download and it downloaded Deadlocked. Whew.

Might be a dumb question but Sleeping Dogs is set to expire this coming Tuesday (June 4), correct? The reason I ask is I am debating getting PS+ and would love to pick up Sleeping Dogs, but I have to get my membership before June 4 then, right? I won't be able to download it if I get a membership after it expires?

Seems like you're answering your own question here.
Seems like you're answering your own question here.
I figured, I just wanted to make sure. I wasn't entirely clear on whether or not PS+ members that join after a game is taken down can still get that game.

You weren't happy with Sleeping Dogs? That's one of the greatest game this year, if not the greatest.

You must have missed the exchange we had a few weeks ago when I railed on it and thought it was hard as well, lol. It's impossible to be terrible at it as it's deceptively simple. Just does a shitty job at explaining the controls. @frisky put up a video for it. Game does suck, though.

Am I over-thinking things then? From what I understand, you have to chain the small characters to build up aura and then you use the aura to attack the big guy, except for me, I'll kill a ton of guys right next to each other and it only builds a chain of 2-3, every attack I do uses up aura even when I haven't unleashed it, it doesn't seem to do anything against the bosses, etc. I guess I just need to read more on strategies and gameplay tips.

I did read that dodge is pretty useless and I should just stick with guard though.

You have the basic idea down but some of the details are a little wrong. You can use basic attacks to get a little bit of aura off the lesser enemies. Once you have some aura you need to spend it on aura attacks (different than unleashing) to create large chains on the smaller guys. This'll give you substantial amounts of aura. Once you're happy with the amount of aura you have stored up, unleash it and then start attacking the boss. Repeat until the boss is dead, healing when needed.

I liked the game, but it was admittedly a little obtuse to first understand since it's not like normal action games. The game is way too short though, I beat it in an hour my first time through.

What?!? Ultimate Board Game Collection? That junk was the s*** back then!:hot:

But really, it's funny to see the random titles maybe a handful of people played back then to be released as ps1 or ps2 "classics." Smart move for Sony though. Continue to inflate the number of classics in their library so they can say they have over X number of classics on psn.
