I'd rather have the full game and not a gimped version of the game because WB doesn't think the Vita and 3DS can handle an open-world version of the game that even the Wii can handle.

I have a question. Im usually not on PSN this much, but do you get kicked out of online games when the store updates? Or is my connection just acting up at the same time the store happens to be updating?

I don't disagree, the problem is that catch 22 causality where they don't expect the Vita version to justify any extra cost so they don't put any in and get exactly what they expect.

 
FYI anyone buying the Ratchet Collection it's also going to automatically download an "early access demo" for Sly 4 so you may want to proactively cancel that download.

Yep, comes with Wallace Wells at least (though Knives is still a separate add-on). It's not on sale unfortunately so gonna try the game out and see if it's worth it, then do some Googling and see if they ever fixed some of the brokenness it had when they launched the DLC.

Yea I agree that 3GB is kinda harsh. I have 9 free gigs but still I couldnt believe that game size. I trade my mortal kombat awhile back though for $14 and would prefer it digital so Im still going to get it.

Gamestop sure likes Alice: Madness Returns.  A few months back they gave me $20 for my used copy.  Now today I was able to trade in another used copy for $13. (on Xbox, not sure if same price for PS3).  Easy decision when I can rebuy it for $4 on PSN next week.

 
For some reason everytime I try to buy Shadow of the Colossus PSN gives me an error, "an error occured."

What the fat booty?

EDIT: wait, had to reconfigure my billing information due to my credit card expiring last month and it worked!

Wow, is MK really 3GB on Vita. In that case, I'll pass and keep my "disc" copy.

 
It feels so wrong to open up some of my sealed games so i can buy digital and trade them to gamestop...

 i just tore the plastic off a few games like ratchet collection and alice madness. but i can trade them in and get them digital and cheaper. argh. yeah awesome bf3 is free. also i guess ill trade in ico/sotc and get sotc for 5 digital. iv heard ico is horrible gameplay but all artsy, i guess i will give it a few days run through and then trade that in also. peace all and thanx friskytanuki

n yeah, i guess ill keep my vita version of mk. i was gonna flip at gamestop, but for measly $3 bonus, ill go ahead and keep physical copy. even with 32gig card im running low. ps+ destroys my vita memory.

Why don't you just sell the sealed versions on ebay and get like 5x the amount of trade-in credit you would at Gamestop?

You probably dont understand how to use gamestops promos to your advantage and get more than you would on ebay. Both Alice and Ratchet HD collection will get a good amount at GS. Not to mention that GS credit is more worthwhile now that you can convert it to Amazon credit.

I have the same problem. I opened up about 5 sealed games today and about 15 in the past few weeks to trade them in. I am replacing some with their digital equivalients and just being honest with myself about whether i'll ever play the rest. It at least feels good to know that Gamestop is giving me more than I originally paid for many of them and more than I am paying for the digital version for the rest. I'm not sure how Gamestop gives so much except that there must be a lot of suckers paying a lot more for stuff at Gamestop than they should...

 
I feel like Sony is forcing me to upgrade my HDD at this point. My slim 120 just aint cuttin it anymore. I'm ususally quick to do things like this upgrade but I've been dragging my feet on this one. I guess mainly because I feel like well I can only actually play 1 game at a time anyway. I think it might be time though.

Gamestop gave me $14.xx today for R&C HD and that's without doing any pre-order, etc. I bought a PSN card. :)

Also. Is the only difference between Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat Komplete are the 4 additional DLC characters? I believe the 15 skins are free for Mortal Kombat as well. I've been waiting for Mortal Koombat Komplete to drop to $10, but that's not happening. And for $5 and 4 less characters only, Mortal Kombat is a no-brainer for me.

I don't know since this is the first time I've ever heard of it. It seems like the main difference is that you have one park and 30-something players to choose from, so it seems more like an All-Star Homerun Derby game.

 
Just finished 400 days. It is definitely not going to leave you satisfied. It was a huge tease for the season to come and it took me barely 1 hour to complete. This really should have been free for those with the season pass and at most 2.99 for everyone else. I would personally wait till season 2 episode 1 is available. I wanted this so much, but lots of disappointment.

They seem to work just fine. It's just done that way to work with both versions of the game, as the DLC merges into the digital version of Season One and that isn't possible for the disc.

I started Walking Dead with the first two episodes from PS+ (digital) and was able to complete it with a rented copy of the disc version, so saves for the main game work from digital to retail. Assuming the two versions are not the same size it may just be a matter of shared game assets between the disc and the digital versions.
