Did anyone not get their $15 code yet for the Spend $100 promotion? I'm wondering if I should contact customer service. I've never contacted PSN support and don't even know an email address.

Maybe for most. I rarely even get close to 7 hours - i consider 5 a lot. I get sick maybe once a decade.

I get more now that i'm getting older, but... yeah, 7 every night sounds impossible and terrible to me. i like being up.

Went to bed without thinking. Then jumped up about 2 minutes later running to the living room.. I had no idea if my level 69 was alive or dead.. :whee:

This is why I will never even consider playing HC. Yeah, it would be cool to get to that point, but to spend all that carefully thought out time and have the Sandman laugh in your face would not be okay with me.

 
Lego Marvel for $5 is not too bad, but since the rumors of it being a free ps plus game for march makes me want to hold off since it could be one of the titles for next month. Also, I never really played any of the lego games before so waiting is no concern for me.

I am actually kind of mad that we have been getting so many small/indie games and still no drive club.

Yeah I don't play hardcore normally, I just wanted to do it for the achievement. So many horror stories with hardcore... not worth the effort. Now to finish off the 500 bounties and i'll platinum D3.

My WD in normal walks through everything.. but every now and then something hits me from out of nowhere and I die. Half the time I don't even know what killed me.. So yeah, the hardcore life is not for me lol.

For those waiting for the $15 code from Sony, have you logged into your PS4 yet? (maybe it works on the PS3 also) I logged into the PS4 and got the notification (it wasn't waiting for me it took a few minutes to show up) opened it and it took me to the PS store with the code already filled in.

I still have no email from Sony about it.

If you like the the Marvel Universe at all, Lego Marvel is fantastic. The only thing I didn't like was the flying controls, which made some of the collectables very difficult. I'm not sure how long if/when it will be free since they are supposed to be mindful of not giving away games too soon after being on sale since everyone gets upset about it.

As far as Driveclub, I'd rather have complete games that work than a partial version of an online game with server issues.

Was considering Helldivers, but from reading the reviews, it seems to be poorly balanced for single players (designed mainly for coop). Shame, because I like the concept and style of the game, but I don't care about coop and wouldn't play that way. Will wait for a blowout sale at best, no rush.
 
Papo & Yo is the first PS+ game they've given since I joined that I already owned digitally. Would've been two if I hadn't resisted OlliOlli both times it went on sale. But I'll gladly take Oddworld free for the eventual PS4.

Anyway, any suggestions on the Rainbow Moon DLC for somebody with the game in their PS+ backlog?

according to another forum, posters pointed out that historically, 'lego games' are very often used as the placeholder image for stuff like that. in other words, it means nothing, and you should not base your buying decisions on it being included in a leaked image, because it happens often.

Sure, if you want to remove any hint of grinding from your game, get:

1) Rainbow Moon 50000 Rainbow Pearls (XXXXXXX) + Fire Ring (Cross Buy with PS3)

where Xxxxx - characters you will be playing with.

This is NOT necessary, however, it is nice.

when you level up, your 'max potential stats' raise, but you need to spend pearls to actually raise them to their new max. now, this isn't as bad as it sounds -- you can easily beat the game without buying any dlc because you don't need to max every stat, just the important ones. And some, like HP and MP, raise naturally and you never need to buy any extra with your pearls. So, again, you can easily get through the game w/o.

However... the one issue is that pearls are earned by getting the 'killing blow'. They're easy to come by.... but if you have a weaker character that does mean there is some level of paying attention to who makes the kill. I bought the dlc for these pearls just so i never had to think about who killled what again. my characters were perfectly strong, i was never in need of pearls... i just didn't want to plan out kills like that.

Now, what chars you want to buy for is dependent on playstyle. I bought these for dozeru, baldren, godoro, and trisha.

oh, and iirc these also come with a nice item per character. for example, the black ring has 25 crafting slots and gives an exp boost.

2) the amulet set

you can craft boosts onto amulets. these are amazing 99slot amulets. godly [eventually].

3) 270k coins

you don't really need these all that much but there is a trophy for gold count and iirc this is the easiest way to get it w/o ever needing to worry about it or scrimp and save.

Again, despite the game having a lot of dlc, you really don't 'need' any of it. But i ended up splurging last time it was on sale just so i could relax on certain things (like caring about who gets what kill)

Bought the Lego Marvel Superheroes with the Super Pack for $7.50 when it normally was $25...while the ratings on Marvel have been considerably high, what are thoughts on Lego Lord of the Rings?

-Rainbow Moon - Rainbow Pearls Bundle Large (since this apparently gives everybody the 50,000 pearls for the price of three individually, just without the nice items)

Anything else? That's about $6.00 total, which isn't bad.

And no, I don't mind paying a little to remove the grinding. The faster that I can work through my backlog, the better.

Just received an email about an hour ago that informed me that I had added $10 to my account. I was freaking out because that did not happen...logged in to check my account balance and my transaction history. Everything was what it should be. I read the email again and closer this time. It was informing me of the $10 I added to buy the Jackbox party pack in February. Wtf?

The one thing that concerns me about Morpheus is that I'm not sure if the resolution will be sufficient, and there's really no way for them to increase it because the GPU in the PS4 isn't going to do well at higher than 1080p. The Rift doesn't have that limitation since you can upgrade your PC graphics card. But still, it looks like a really cool product and I'm definitely interested in it.

It wouldn't have been two, since the free game this month is the newly released OlliOlli 2, the sequel to the game that you could have previously gotten in a sale.

I had this happen earlier and I had freaked out as well. Turned out that the email was actually about the funds I added to my account in early Feb. Don't know why it took me this long to get.

Technically, no, but this strikes me as the kind of series where owning the sequel makes buying the original pointless, so in that respect I'd still count it as a waste considering that, even if I had picked it up, there's no chance I would've gotten around to playing it before now.

EDIT: Has anyone played White Night? I almost bought that too because the trailer looked really good but haven't heard many impressions on it.

Yeah, that would do it. i think i bought baldren's set not because of using him, but for that black ring with experience boost. but yes, what you have listed would give you a solid setup. i knew who i was using so the items were definitely worth it to me since i didn't need the bundle.

i actually really enjoyed the game... not finished yet, keep going back to it though. taking it casual.

Every purchase I made during the last week of Feb, I am getting the emails related to them now. Quit scaring people Sony..

Helldivers, I used the $15 from the $100 promo for it. I knew i'd end up buying it anyway.. so the $15 was great.

It's a fun game, only been able to play the single player part though. For some reason Helldivers said I had no internet connection.. Every other game worked fine, even the PS store loaded fine. 

Early bug/issue maybe? 

I just figured it was day one server overload.

 
Huh. So I bought those Rainbow Moon DLC I listed, and apparently the 50,000 pearls bundle is really the other six 50,000 pearls DLC combined, since it added all six to my download list. Strangely, they're all only the PS3 version, and when I go back to the Rainbow Moon DLC list, only four of the six are showing as free.

Kind of a bummer since I planned on playing this all on Vita.

i don't know what to say?

though worst case scenario, the game is cross-save so if you have the ps3 version too you could probably get the dlc over to the vita. but i really don't know? i bought the stuff per character, and made sure i got the vita dlc.

 
Wait, I take that back. When I go to the main Weekly Deals page, it shows a second version of the other two and I can get those for free. Then the first version shows purchased, too.

though worst case scenario, the game is cross-save so if you have the ps3 version too you could probably get the dlc over to the vita. but i really don't know? i bought the stuff per character, and made sure i got the vita dlc.

I'm not directing that at you or anything. I'm just bringing it up in general because it's so... :whee:

Have the Star Ocean games ever been available on PSN? Would like 1 and 2 on my Vita.

I never got to play them originally, and now that there is no hope to get another(Console quality game) with TriAce getting bought by a mobile games publisher.

Of course, SE owns the IP I think, and with Bravely Default and now FFXV looking like it could be great, maybe eventually....
