:ps4: Foul Play - $2.00 to $100.00 [customspoiler='Fine Print'] :ps4: Foul Play is a part of the PlayStation Heroes program, which means that you can pay your choice among a variety of price points for an item that is usually a theme for entries into a contest to win some prize with most of the money going to a charity. There are no details at the moment for what the prize for buying Foul Play offers, so I'll post that whenever it's announced.

Edit: From the PlayStation Heroes app on PS4, the Foul Play promotion is for a trip to PlayStation Experience in December. Once you purchase the game, you're supposed to go here to register for the actual contest, though you should wait until the page is updated for the PlayStation Experience promotion instead of whatever it's on at the moment.[/customspoiler]

Thinking about picking up Resident Evil 1. Also interested in Revelations 2 but i should just wait and get the physical version.

Finally went through the list and I honestly don't know most of those RPG titles. Sames goes with Star Wars (although I already own The Force Unleashed). Which are good? I seem to recall people talking about Suikoden II and Dark Forces. But I don't know if it was for good reasons or bad.

That being said, would you guys recommend these games:

Mamorukun Curse!
Raiden IV: Overkill
Strikers 1945
Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll?
Definitely recommend trinity. But it is 20 gigs.

Don't know how I missed Senran Kagura: Bon Appetit! but I gotta get that. Works on PS TV so that makes it even better.

So much stuff but a lot are $3-$4 more than I would like to pay. The stuff at really good prices, I already have and spent much more on them when I got them  :wall:

I missed it also and Sorcery Saga, also playable on the PlayStation TV, but I quickly remedied that.

OMG. Bought Sorcery Saga because it sounded like an interesting "cute" anime take on a rogue-like. Wanted to blow my brains out with how incredibly long the conversations, about curry no less, go on for. Thank God they're skippable or I wouldn't be here to write this.
wait until you get to the 3rd area where the number of levels increase dramatically and seems to take forever to complete!

Think I can deal with actually playing the levels over the unending conversations. They were cute and funny to start with but after 100 click through text boxes, my mind is mush. Now plan on skipping as much as I can hoping I don't miss anything important.

Friendly heads up:
Fry's has the Vita on sale for $167 today as well as 3 month PS Plus cards for $13. Catch is, both deals are in-store only and you need a unique promo code from their email list.
If anybody wants my promo code, send me a PM and it's yours.

I'm really enjoying Hatsune Miku on the Vita. I bought it on a whim for $15 as I have heard good things and always enjoy a good rhythm game and I must say that I really am digging this game, it's definitely worth checking out if anyone is on the fence. I picked up the first game, but saw the second was on sale too, which may or may not be the better of the two, they looked virtually identical though.

My cart right now is:

Mystic Chronicles

Demon Gaze

Suikoden 2

Sorcery Saga: Wrath of the Great Curry God

Looking for other recommendations? Also what do people think of end of serenity?

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/05/01/the-last-of-us-left-behind-available-as-standalone-download-may-12th/

The Last of Us: Left Behind is getting a standalone release on PS4 and PS3 for $9.99 on 5/12. They also have a variety of upgrade options to get the MP, single player, and map packs for up to $40 total if you want that stuff with it. The price of the DLC on PS3 will also drop to $9.99 to coincide with this.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/05/01/ultratron-coming-to-ps4-ps3-ps-vita-on-may-12th/

Ultratron finally sees release on 5/12 for PS4/PS3/Vita with Cross Buy support. If you've played Titan Attacks, it's that team's approach to a Robotron 2084 clone.

Any of these Natsume games worth it?

End of Serenity

Mystic Chronicles

  • Carnage Heart EXA
  • Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley
  • Adventures To Go!
  • Harvest Moon: Boy & Girl
  • Innocent Life: A Futuristic Harvest Moon

Anyone else having problems purchasing from the site? I get to the point it goes to my credit card but a blank screen keeps popping in and out and eventually locks me out.

wow tlou everything for 13 digital code and its around 15 sale often but people never google for deals they blind buy lol
Preach! I usually do my research before I make a purchase; this last week I skipped out on it when buying Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and Amazon was offering it for a few dollars less than i bought it for.

That's great, I wanted to play it but it came out long after I had dumped the game. Now to wait for a $5 sale on it.

Same boat for me.

With the Last of Us Remastered, can I just play this extra content if I buy it? Or do I need to progress the game?
If you have Remastered, there's no need to buy this. The way I understand it, the Left Behind DLC, and all the multiplayer stuff is already included.

That being said, you can play Left Behind first, but the game (and everyone else in the world) recommends against doing that.

You can play Left Behind anytime since it is just a selection on the main menu, however, it's recommended that you play the main game first since there are spoilers and references to the main game in Left Behind.

As an aside, i'm kind of annoyed that Sony is exploiting the game to the level of selling MP and Left Behind separately. Yes, the game is great, but it's time to move on instead of repackaging parts of their two year old game.

Thanks to both of you, I beat the game 3 or 4 times already but never played the DLC

Log in and your PS+ expiration date is near the top. There is also a video in the OP's FAQ that can show you where to look on the consoles and turn off auto-renewal if you want to do that.
Ah, thank you. I was looking on sonyentertainmentnetwork.com and I could not figure out where it was. Did manage to find the spot on that site to stop auto renewal.

How often are we getting these "spend $100, get $15" deals? Last one was in February.

EDIT: the one before that was October, yikes. So probably not until late May, or June at the earliest.

I just got a PS4 and would like to pick up The Show 15, Infamous Second Son, and Killzone Shadow Fall digitally. What's a good price to expect to pay for these and are there any deals on them now (right now they are $39.99/$59.99)? I've found some deals on physical copies but I'm new to the PS4 digital world. Any help is appreciated!

Edit: I did sign up for PS+ so maybe I should wait on Infamous or Killzone?

wait on both, they were both early launch release or near launch date titles. so they wont hold any value an the price should drop sooner then later as long as you don't mind waiting little longer for them.

your best option if you want them now an if their no good deals at game stop, would be game fly. right now it shows infamous Keep for $17.99 an killzone Keep for $19.99 , think both been cheaper before but it a option if you want them now.

edit

if you want digital only since i posted all physical deals, the sales are random. so it hard too say when they drop in price or go on sale. use care as you mit post next month you wasted $40 for those games an now their ps+ games or discounted.

I recently got a vita and find it annoying that I can't get metal gear acid and both portable ops from PSN on the vita. I missed out on those and would like to try them someday.
I got my vita years ago and still want those. We're far from alone.

Um... they aren't exploiting anything. They're offering another way to buy something for the people that might prefer that. It likely took very little effort. I'm struggling to find any issue with being offered more options, even if not every option is for me.

Is hell divers worth picking up full price? Or is it fated to be a PS+ freebie later on?
I was initially interested in Helldivers, but after reading many reviews, I passed on it. Not really built for single players, it's heavily designed for coop play. Not worth it if you're mainly into SP games, as I am.

Does Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day come with the rest of Short Peace, as well? I haven't been able to get the straight of it one way or another.

Don't get Toukiden, that's for sure. Toukiden Kiwami just came out, which is the same game except with nearly double the content.
Of course, you're talking about less than a third of the price at $12 vs. $40 --- unless he waits for a sale on Kiwami.

Yeah, I was never really sure so I ended up importing the EU retail copy not too long ago when it was on sale. Anyways, the reviewer of the game here says the PSN version does in the comments section. It's supposedly 2 downloads (1 for the game, 1 for the movies).

http://www.usgamer.net/articles/short-peace-ranko-tsukigimes-longest-day-ps3-review

The review is pretty good too, not like most where they just trash it for being too weird or short. I, personally, love the game. I do wish it was longer, though, but just because I thought it was extremely fun and never boring. On the other hand, I can definitely see why others wouldn't like it at all. It's probably as niche and divisive as it can get.

How much was the EU version you got? I was actually thinking of importing the physical UK version, anyway, assuming that also came with the rest of Short Peace.

EDIT: Oh, and if it does come with the rest of Short Peace, is it on disc? The PSN video restrictions seem pretty... restrictive. And I don't know that I want to make an EU account just for that, either.

Of course, you're talking about less than a third of the price at $12 vs. $40 --- unless he waits for a sale on Kiwami.
You're also talking about extra content that you can't get any other way. Unless you're desperate or you really have no interest in the extra content at all, you're really much better off just waiting for that inevitable sale, especially since there's a physical version, as well.
