:ps4: Foul Play - $2.00 to $100.00 [customspoiler='Fine Print'] :ps4: Foul Play is a part of the PlayStation Heroes program, which means that you can pay your choice among a variety of price points for an item that is usually a theme for entries into a contest to win some prize with most of the money going to a charity. There are no details at the moment for what the prize for buying Foul Play offers, so I'll post that whenever it's announced.

Edit: From the PlayStation Heroes app on PS4, the Foul Play promotion is for a trip to PlayStation Experience in December. Once you purchase the game, you're supposed to go here to register for the actual contest, though you should wait until the page is updated for the PlayStation Experience promotion instead of whatever it's on at the moment.[/customspoiler]

Hmm, Atelier Ayesha has intrigued me for a while. I know it's hard to give suggestion because it's such a niche title, but anyone think this could go lower? A lot of the other Atelier games have gone to ~$15 and for some reason I feel it will be a free game at some point

I would doubt it ever going free, but I'd bet it will be on a sale for less than $27 within the year. The Atelier ports on VITA seem to go on sale semi-regularly.

It will go lower eventually, if you're willing to wait. I'd say $20 by next Golden week sale. Also, have you considered looking at the other Atelier games?

I dunno if once a year is considered semi-regularly. I suppose there's still a chance for them to do another sale this year.

Does the disc version of Saints Row IV for PS4 include anything more than the bundle in this deal? Just want the maximum content in the least amount of purchases.

Yikes, those PS+ PS4 sale prices are insulting for digital.
Yeah, sadly though, not everyone lives on CAG and they probably do think they're good deals. For us, we know that Bloodborne can be had for $40 physical and $32 with GCU at Best Buy.

I haven't paid more than $48 day one and usually less if you count preorder reward certificates.

The rest of the world outside of CAG? Not so much.

So is the PS+ discount thing in the banners for the Deep Silver sale a mistake? I don't see any indication that a bonus PS+ discount is active on any of those

In for Towerfall Ascension but what's going on with the price? Says $5.10 but it's $4.50 with Plus. Everytime I click on the us price, the screen goes blank then take me back to the screen with all of the game info.

Atelier games have been on sale February, April, and again this week so far this year. That seems pretty regular.

Before this year I believe the most any of the Vita games (can't speak for the PS3 ones) had been on sale was once ever. Hopefully they continue to be on sale every couple months.

Comrade, you do realize you linked the 2014 golden week sale? Since the Ateliers were on sale in February, they didn't go on sale again in the golden week sale. So they've only been on sale once this year.

And the one on sale this week was not on sale in February because it just came out this year in January.

Not sure if you know the answer, but is the ad banner on the store showing there is an additional PS+ discount for Deep Silver incorrect?

I want to get Metro Redux, but I see no indications that the PS+ discounts are active.
There are no PS+ discounts for the Deep Silver games.

Thanks.

Darn. Guess this banner I keep getting is a mistake:

Anyone else buy the Portal Pinball FX2 table and not seeing it anywhere? I went to the ga!e add-ons and installed it but ....nothing.

Edit: Never mind. Had to install the demo. Strange though. Never had to do either of those outside of the game before this.

Derp. I did think that was from this year. I remember the Atelier games being on sale with the Golden Sale this year, but I guess they were only on sale for PS3.

Does anyone know what the deal is with "Who Wants To Be Millionaire Movie Edition" ?  It appears to be an expansion for a game called "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Special Editions", but there is no such game on PSN.  There is a WWTBAM game, but it looks like it's a different game by a different developer.  The Movie Edition is on sale for 49 cents, but I don't want to buy something I can't play.

Not sure if it was simply missed for the front page here, but it is cheaper to get Metro Redux as the bundle at $24.99 then the separate games at $14.99 each as they are listed in the beginning of this thread.

Don't waste the 49 cents. The movie edition is for a previous version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire that was discontinued on PSN so it's useless. I bought it when it cost $1, and that was $1 wasted since I couldn't use it.

Same as you, I have MGS :xb1:, but I haven't even opened it yet so I'll enjoy it on :ps4: instead. I don't really see myself playing any of the other games.

So glad I impulse bought MGS Ground Zeroes and Cloudberry and never played them :)

I played Gunslinger on the 360 and it was a lot of fun.

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin for PS4 is $48. That $38.39 was only available for a few hours after the sale went live from what I can tell. Glitch that was fixed?

I sold my copy of Ground Zeroes but still have my cloud save. Didn't 100% it but am down in anticipation for Phantom Pain.

Everybody who likes RPGs and has a Vita or PS TV should buy Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines.  Great game and the best JRPG I've played in ages.  I'm kind of miffed I paid full price and haven't played it much.  $15 is a steal.

It looks great! I love turn-base rpgs, and this looks similar to the Suikoden series, my favorite. Does it have link-battles?

There's also a demo (2.6GB) if anyone else is interested.

Come on, Buddy! You have got to give us more than that. Explain. Elucidate. Why, Bry?
It's just terrible for the most part. Vague for the purpose of being vague. Then you realize that you can literally walk through the door and beat the game in about five minutes.

Even despite all that I was still on board for MGSV day one until the ending.

I also paid nothing to play it so I'm not even bit about having spent any money on a demo. Done people like it I guess. Those people are probably wrong but boats and floating and what not.

Eldritch did not like the ending to GZ, confirmed deviant or confirmed normal, depending on his outlook on snukes.

Also posting my support of oreshika. It's a solid jrpg without many of the things people have come to dislike in jrpgs. I don't know exactly what a link-battle is, but that doesn't sound like something this one has.

The only thing I can remember not liking about it was that it had a couple of difficulty spikes near the end of the game that made my stat growth feel inadequate. Characters that were previously really good suddenly became mediocre and I had to struggle it out to beat the last few bosses.

One tip for anyone who gets stuck on certain bosses: Buff spells don't work like they do in other rpgs. Buff spells stack, and take multiple casts to max out the stat. So instead of casting it once every three turns, you will spend three turns casting it.

Edit: I swear, I don't know when I forgot how to CAG. This is the second time in as many posts that I've double post quoted myself.

Link-battle is when one of your characters teamed up with another one to perform a special, more devastating attack. But it doesn't sound like Oreshika has it. It doesn't matter for me, since I had just purchased Soul Sacrifice Delta and Freedom Wars for $5 each during the last PSN Flash Sale, so I can wait for Oreshika to drop further.

This is one of the better PS Plus months for me. Almost bought MGS V a few times recently for $10-$15 glad I held out. Interested in trying out Call of Juarez too. If I like any of the others that's always a plus too. Most likely I'll download all of them and not touch them for months.

Need Suggestions. My PS3 harddrive is pretty much full, I have the 80GB old one. Is it worth upgrading my PS4 to a 1TB and using my 500GB in my PS3. Or should I just wait to get a 2TB hdd for my PS4 and use the 1TB one in my PS3.
