:ps4: Foul Play - $2.00 to $100.00 [customspoiler='Fine Print'] :ps4: Foul Play is a part of the PlayStation Heroes program, which means that you can pay your choice among a variety of price points for an item that is usually a theme for entries into a contest to win some prize with most of the money going to a charity. There are no details at the moment for what the prize for buying Foul Play offers, so I'll post that whenever it's announced.

Edit: From the PlayStation Heroes app on PS4, the Foul Play promotion is for a trip to PlayStation Experience in December. Once you purchase the game, you're supposed to go here to register for the actual contest, though you should wait until the page is updated for the PlayStation Experience promotion instead of whatever it's on at the moment.[/customspoiler]

REvelations 2 season pass is $24.99 for me, is it not supposed to be $15.99?
That's not the season pass, that's the "Complete Season". The season pass doesn't have the first episode. At the beginning of this week's sale, you could have bought episode one for 3.99 and then the season pass for 15.99 and save some money.

Oh okay. Makes sense. I bought the first episode on xbox one, so guess I'll wait for a sale there.

I'm glad it makes sense to somebody. :)

I love the RE series and this game seems pretty cool, but all the options are confusing. I had to look at a Kotaku article to understand the differences between DLC, add ons, retail, etc. Pretty annoying.

Rocket League is out for PS4 on July 7 for $19.99. It'll support PC/PS4 Cross Play for MP and has Sweet Tooth's Ice Cream Truck as a playable car in the PS4 version. There's a new trailer in the post.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/06/03/mighty-no-9-retail-details-cross-buy-pre-order-for-retro-hero-mode/

Mighty No. 9 supports Cross Buy for both the digital and retail PS4 versions. There's a $60 special edition for PS4 with a figure and the normal retail release gets exclusive DLC that let's you play the entire game with another character. Pre-orders get special retro DLC that makes the main character look like a Minecraft skin. Sounds like there's too much exclusive DLC for this game to me, like a Dragon Age or Batman game.

RE:R2 was one of my favorite games of the year. Well worth the $25 price tag. Anything less is a steal
You guys have to play The Evil Within. It's like next-generation Resident Evil (it plays fine on last-gen consoles). Admittedly, I had to play it with a walkthrough because I was too scared to fight the invisible enemies.

Once again Capcom sale is a letdown. Of all the games they could have discounted but instead its the usual Street Fighter/Resident Evil stuff, with Okami thrown in. Been waiting forever for Arcade Cabinet to go down during the publisher sale the last two or three times.

This is actually one of Capcom's better sales with some stuff more discounted than ever before, like Street Fighter x Tekken. Also remember that the Vita version was already free from PS+, so since the DLC is cross-compatible, you're getting the 12 premium characters for free on PS3!

Okami has seldom reached $4.99, though the one before this was just a few weeks ago. I think this is only the second time it's been 4.99.

Absolutely loved it

It's been sitting in my backlog since the Christmas sale on the XB1 :(

Thoughts on Street Fighter X Tekken?    I've never really followed Tekken but I enjoy the Street Fighter series.

Otherwise, just Operation Raccoon City for me this week.  Funny how Resident Evil has never had a raccoon in their games.

Depends on how serious you are about fighting games. SFxT is fun for casual play but apart from clearly paid sponsorships at large tourneys I rarely see anyone playing it competitively. I think the general consensus is that it's not as good as SF4 in terms of depth of play.

If you like Street Fighter, you can't go wrong with SFxT especially since you're getting the DLC characters for free. It might have the Tekken cast, but they play like SF characters anyway, so if you've never played SFxT before, it's almost like you have 25 new SF characters to try out.

Compared to SF4, this one has more lenient execution, and a feature exclusive to PS3 is that you and a friend can play together on one system to fight people online. (If you'd rather team up together on two systems, you can do that too.)

The disc version of RER2 just has the Raid Throwback map pack and the Wesker and Hunk raid characters. It really doesn't matter what you play mindless grind as so it's not really that huge a deal. $40 vs. $25 is a joke. Those throwback maps are just I think three sets of maps that are leveled low enough that they won't last you long.

Claire cowgirl and Moira skanky ninja costumes are also on tap but that's really it. You can get the episodes only for the whole game or get extra costumes and a tiny spoonful of overpriced Raid maps.

Call of Juarez Gunslinger is outstanding.
Thanks for the clarification. I think the disk version is on sale for 27.99 (amazon just matched Target) this week, not sure if the extra content is worth the three bucks.

Nuts, I think I got all the decently priced Capcom games already at these or better prices :(

so you ironically got the games you didn't want but for some reason didn't get the game you were interested in the most...and also forgot about it till the day after like every other cag does lol please tell me this is a running joke.
There are so many people that are either too dumb or too lazy to go into the web store, add all the games to their cart, and check out.

If only Sony would give us an entire month to do this.
Well sorry guys, but i had some serious medical problems this month with my kidneys. Had a lot more serious things to worry about than friggin videogames. Got the PS4 ones because i happened to be playing Rogue Legacy a few times. I havent turned my PS3 on all month. Even so i realized that the time was almost up and made a mental note to check this past weekend, but with some friends dropping by that i hadn't seen in a long time it slipped my mind

Looks like i did miss Murasaki baby. Too bad its the first game on the vita list in quite some time i actually wanted to play =(

^Screw the free games man; easy come easy go. Health and friends (dear ones) are more important.

Hope you feel better - and, I dont mean about the missed games.

Uncharted: NDC is now official. Comes to :ps4: on 10/9. Includes beta access to Uncharted 4: ATE. And the boxart is great.

Time to sell off my original trilogy on :ps3:.

EDIT: Looks like it will be $60. ($30 by Black Friday :))

Any word on the Metro Redux demo appearing? Looked for it yesterday to no prevail.

Also Frisky God of Ear doesn't exist even though that sounds like a sexy title for a music game or a certain ear fetish.

I was finally able to find the Resident Evil Revelations 2 Season Pass for PS4 today.  In case anyone else is in the same boat as me and wants to play the game and save a little money:

The first episode is currently on sale for $3.99

The Season Pass includes all other episodes and some other bonuses and was SUPPOSED to be on sale for $15.99 this week.

You could find the PS4 Season Pass at that sale price on the webstore and from the console digital store for the first few hours of this sale, but then it disappeared leaving the only digital option to buy all episodes as the "Complete Season" for $24.99.

The PS4 Season Pass is still absent from the web store as far as I can see.  You also can't find it from a search from the PS4 console's digital store front.  If you go to RE Revelations 2's page on the console, only the "Complete Season" is listed.

I found the Season Pass that is on sale by going to the storefront on the console, going to "Deals", then all the way to the right to select "All Deals", then all the way to the bottom to find both Episode 1 and the Season Pass.  That should be the same content as the 'Complete Season', but you save $5.

Man, the worst month for Plus in a long time. Also, I want my money back for Ground Zeros. Felt ripped off after playing it...now I feel even more ripped off to see that this paid glorified demo is free.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/06/04/uncharted-the-nathan-drake-collection-out-october-9th-on-ps4/

The PS Blog post about the Uncharted Collection, which being done by the great Bluepoint Games team that did the great MGS and God of Ear collections, I believe. It seems to just have the single-player campaigns and no MP.
Man, I loved God of Ear. That double bladed Q-tip was awesome. The series really tanked when they switched to God of Nose. That one really blew.

Really should have traded in Uncharted during that MS Store "any game for $10" promo. Actually looked around online and thought I found a pretty definitive "no" on the remaster from Naughty Dog at the time. I'd be lucky to get $5 total for the trilogy at this point.

I Am Bread is coming to PS4 later this summer:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBbMgoc5S7k

The master bakers at Bossa Studios are thrilled to announce that I am Bread, the game about one loaf of bread’s journey to become toast – which happens to be a prequel of sorts to Surgeon Simulator – is headed to PlayStation 4 this summer.

Journey from the natural confines in the kitchen, through the home of the unsuspecting owner and venture to the outside world. With several different game modes and bread types to choose from, along with a narratively driven story, I am Bread will test your skills – and may be the cause of smashed DualShock4 controllers.

Bossa Studios are working with developer Just Add Water, known for its recent work creating Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, to help I am Bread rise on the PS4.

I am Bread will be available to play at the E3 PlayStation booth June 16-18, 2015. For more information, head to http://www.iambreadgame.com.
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/06/04/new-warframe-update-out-today-boosts-game-performance/

Warframe got a new update that improves its performance, adds a new PvP mode, a new event, and a new 8-player PvE mode.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/06/04/philosophical-puzzler-pneuma-breath-of-life-coming-to-ps4-on-77/

Pneuma: Breath of Life is coming to PS4 on 7/7 for $14.99. Here's the trailer:

I sold the Trilogy on ebay less than 2 weeks ago for $22. UC1, UC2, and UC3 GOTY all black label and complete. So try there, I'd start soon because I'm pretty sure it's going to get flooded with people trying to get rid of them with the news of the remastered set.

Frisky or someone probably mentioned this before but it's news to me so it's probably news to someone else. We're finally getting the magma red controller!... And it's a GS exclusive which is unfortunate.

Yea saw an advertisement for it a week ago. I am very happy about it, love me some red. Been using my white controller with Astros skinit and this ugly blue one.

No more ugly blue :whee: Finally
