:ps4: Foul Play - $2.00 to $100.00 [customspoiler='Fine Print'] :ps4: Foul Play is a part of the PlayStation Heroes program, which means that you can pay your choice among a variety of price points for an item that is usually a theme for entries into a contest to win some prize with most of the money going to a charity. There are no details at the moment for what the prize for buying Foul Play offers, so I'll post that whenever it's announced.

Edit: From the PlayStation Heroes app on PS4, the Foul Play promotion is for a trip to PlayStation Experience in December. Once you purchase the game, you're supposed to go here to register for the actual contest, though you should wait until the page is updated for the PlayStation Experience promotion instead of whatever it's on at the moment.[/customspoiler]

Depending on the discount I might get the Hudson games(probably the most likely, hoping for $1 each), Hand of Fate, Rack N Ruin, and Tales of Hearts R.

That is so much BS. Sony, STOP DOING THIS!

Valkyria Chronicles II is on there... and apparently you have to do the same thing to get it on a Vita. Boo, Sony! BOO!
That would be up to Sega and Konami/Hudson to re-license them for sale on new platforms, but they don't care, so they get the base level of availability.

Apparently it's something to do with rights. It was displayed any PSP/PS1 game can be downloaded to Vita when Sony pressed a wrong button some time back now.

HA.  Just after I bought and only played 1 hr of Tales of Hearts R -.- ($27 for physical on Amazon o_O)

Might have to trade my physical copy in.

Playing Hyperdimension Re;Birth 1 on PC.  Great game.

So I have not renewed my PS+ account in months but does anyone know how long The Crew will be available?  I do not want to redeem a card until I have to.

I thought there was a PS+ version available now?
DriveClub. I don't think there is an end date for the PS+ version as it's like 1/4 of the game. It's like a free game trail almost but not limited by time and has trophies. But most of the cars/tracks are only in the paid version. If I like it I'll definitely buy the full version.

Shadow Warrior at $7.50 is tempting but I'm always afraid it will end up a plus game soon, besides I'm sure this will be cheap by black Friday and I'm not dying to play and i do prefer physical copies,hmmmm.....

Anyone recommend how to survive? What kind of game is it?

Oh, you mean Driveclub. I don't think they're going to take that down anytime soon, so you're safe on that.
Ok thanks for putting up with my idiocy.

Shadow Warrior was $6 not that long ago and on sale almost E3.

I really liked How to Survive. It's a survival game about being stranded on an archipelago filled with zombies. It's played like a twin stick shooter and there's some crazy twin stick style moments but it's much more about surviving and scavenging. It's got some issues and idiosyncrasies but it was one of the games that hooked me most last year.

Ended up grabbing:

Sega Sale:

- Sonic CD $1.99

- Yakuza Dead Souls $5.99 (already have disc, but figured it was priced like buying a backup copy)

- Toejam & Earl Panic on Funkatron $1.99 (it says online co-op, trophies and stuff)

- Sonic The Fighters $1.99 (says it has online)

- Crazy Taxi $3.99 (wasn't going to because of the sound track but trophies and stuff will have me throwing together a custom soundtrack)

Flash Sale:

- Bonk's Adventure $1.20

- Dungeon Explorer $1.20

Gonna go back now and get the PS+ version of Driveclub for the kids.

I'm still kind of shocked over Toejam & Ear PoF.  I was going to pass on it to play alone, but if I can get one of my friends who is a diehard sega gamer to play then I'd be willing to co-op this to the end.

The flash sale isn't the greatest but I'm kind of glad it forced me to do a double take on this weeks sales.

Is How to Survive anything like State of Decay?

Is that DLC for Sonic Unleashed original content?, I watched some videos but havent played through the whole game to tell and I can't seem to get any clarification online.

Did Rainbow Moon drop permanently to $5? Debating on being thrifty and getting it over Tales of Hearts R, though I'd probably be stupid to pass on Tales.

Is How to Survive anything like State of Decay?
I was just about to ask the same exact thing. Do you work together with other survivors in How To Survive? Or are the games nothing alike?
The main story involves some other people stranded there as well but they're really just NPC characters there to give you direction. I believe there is local and online co-op but otherwise you're alone in single player other than a few times when you're kind of on an escort mission.

Darn it, was going to get Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition when the flash sale happened to make everything one purchase, but it went back up to $9.99.

Oh well, I'll just keep a watch on it.

Why not go for 2TB? The drives are around $100, or even less if you are willing to crack open an external USB enclosure.

Meh 1tb is fine, and they tend to be more stable than 2tbs. besides 2tb 2.5's are hard to find i think

I've been running a 7200 RPM since launch day and haven't had any problems. The vast majority of the heat is going to come from the CPU & GPU anyway. The gradual dust build-up inside the system and the thermal paste drying up will eventually cause the system to run hotter regardless.

I'd really recommend going with the 7200.
hmm no heat issues at all? It just feels like the system puts out a lot of heat when you put your hand behind it. Id be worried a 7200 rpm would just exacerbate that problem. Anyone else tried a 7200rpm?

I was going to post a similar response. The only thing is, once you crack the case on the 2tb seagate you void the warranty. It's 80 bucks now on Amazon getting good reviews. What size flash drive do you need to download the operating system?
Not sure what size drive you would need but i have plent laying around. Yuck. I would never use a garbage seagate HDD in anything i use. They're total garbage. Like i said i have those 2 that i linked the 5400rpm samsung spinpoint

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152291

and the 7200 HGST

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152291

these are already purchased so im using one or the other. Need to run HDtune on them first to make sure theres no problems with them the i need to pick one since i need to make sure theres no problems with the system. I wound up buying 2 of the arkham LE bundles and plan on returning one

So i have 1 person saying they have used a 7200 rpm with no problems. Anyone else? Sony said i should go with the 5400 so maybe i'll just do that, but i the guy on the line barely spoke english and didn't seem very reliable

Is it possible to transfer data to a new hard drive on the PS4? I want to pick up a 2tb but I don't want to lose the P.T. demo.
I actually dont think it is. Not games at least. I think the only thing you can really backup is save data. Games and stuff cant be backed up in any way unless they changed it. This always annoyed me in thepast and i can see how it would really suck if you havethe P.T. Demo =(

Sorry if this isn't the place to ask but I can't find an answer anywhere. So I'm trying to update my PSTV to the new update but right when its just about to it says "this content isn't supported on this system". I'm basically stuck not able to go onto the store because I can't update. I dont understand how an update isn't supported? I don't want to have to call Support but I guess I might have to.

It's always been possible. Go to settings>system>Backup and Restore. You'll need a external HDD formatted to fat32 and a full system update file. I just upgraded to a 2tb recently

Yup. Its for the system. I go into system update under settings, it asks if I want to go up to 3.53, then right as its going to install, that message shows up. Which I've only seen for games, which is weird. Have you ever heard of this?

According to this, there's no 3.53 update, so you might be best off trying to update it manually with the 3.52 update and seeing what happens.

I'm sorry your right i misread it. Its 3.52. The one that was released around June 24th/25th. I'm sorry for being such a noob but my phones stuck on limited data speed so I'm real slow, could you by chance point me to the link where I'd download the update to install manually? And would I just put on USB flash drive and plug into PSTV and install from system settings?

Yeah. The link I included is where you can download the update yourself.
