Had a package arrive a day late. Not a big deal and normally I wouldn't have said anything, but Mitch pointed out a policy Amazon has where you can request a free month of Prime extension if it happens. So why the hell not.

So I grabbed a Borderlands bundle for $170 from Amazon because it seemed like a good price and there hasn't been much I've really wanted for Christmas but now I'm second guessing it. I really have no problems with the Gen 1 Vita. I'm a little bit curious about the newer one but not sure it's enough to warrant the purchase. Seems a little silly because I'd also feel inclined to keep the Gen 1 around.

I hate to equate the two, but I just find it funny how when all the hacked nude photos leaked a few months ago so many elements of the media were like "shame on you, you degenerates for seeking out those photos" but absolutely no one is conflicted about trolling through all those hacked Sony emails and writing stories about them when it is a similar invasion of privacy of the affected parties.

If all celebrities just walked around everywhere naked like I asked it would've been a non-issue too.

Takes of Hearts pros - any tips for the last special team arena battle at a low level (80)? I think I'm just going to finish the namcoins and skip the second play through.

Am I really that lucky that I can eat and drink damn near anything without worrying about what is in it?  Damn man, why does everyone I know have to watch out for peanuts, or gluten, or sugar, or water?!?

So it's raining this morning and the news says, if you are driving then apply the car brakes lightly so you don't hit other cars or hydroplane.

Who would ever guessed that would happen?
Ha, the worst traffic and accidents when I lived in San Diego happened the one week a year when it rained. Rain really is the California equivalent of snow.

In fairness to the dumb Californians, though, it never fucking rains in Southern California, so the streets are incredibly slick when it does finally rain because of all the oil and deposits that have built up and don't get to wash away regularly.

I AM THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA!
Xenogears flashbacks

also power spoilers, but best powers/karma mixes I found in Infamous SS. My whole final battles on expert evil are in my twitch archives, I just flew past those last 3 bosses super fast. I checked to make sure it was on expert cuz I beat it alot faster than on my easy play.
Good+Neon and Bad+Smoke/Video. awesome.

I also love Kraft Mac & Cheese and eat it about once a week, every time crossing a few hours off of my life expectancy.

Never tried making the cheese sauce separately, maybe I'll try that one time and see what happens. I cook my Mac about half the recommended time (3-4 mins) otherwise the noodles get super limp and soggy. I prefer them slightly more al dente. I also use a little less than half the suggested amount of butter. Both to help cut down calories and because sometimes it tastes too buttery to me when you use a half a stick.
>including al dente and mac and cheese in the same thought

I guess I don't equate the two since in one instance it's corporate correspondence. It's one thing to say you're an idiot for storing nude photos on the cloud (or even taking them in the first place), but it's quite another to write things you don't want to get out in an e-mail that can be easily forwarded to the wrong person or even subpoenaed. That's just the height of idiocy.

I hate putting anything sensitive in an e-mail, because I don't fucking trust anyone. I can't tell you how many times I've banged my head on a desk because somebody in my office started adding people to an e-mail chain and didn't realize there was sensitive information in the thread if people would bother to scroll down.

The group(s) that shamed people for looking at those photos are typically anti-business. Privacy wasn't really their concern when the nude leaks happened.

Whoa, Amazon's got some...deals (start 5pm PST today): https://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/339915-amazon-deals-1212-to-1220-wolfenstein-ps4-1499-and-more/

Wolfenstein ( :ps4:) for $15 isn't bad. Everything else is pretty much meh.
Eh, wasn't planning on grabbing this but thats a sweet spot I can't really pass.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with Drive Club since the patch? I was far more interested in The Crew and its open world, but I've heard nothing but terrible things about the upgrade system, skill matching AI regardless of how much your car outclasses said opponents on paper, and the sheer tedium of grinding challenges for new parts and 2 hour long races. Not to mention it doesn't deliver graphically either which is a huge detriment for racing games to me.

Plus that new weather effect update in DC looks pretty nice.

There's a horde mode on the Family Guy game, and it has two trophies attached to it: Survive 15 waves & Survive 30 waves. I started it and made it through 15, and the trophy popped. Then I died on 16. That took an hour and forty minutes. Now I have to do it all over again. At least it's fun.

True story:

I just got carded at Target when I bought Far Cry 3, but not at the liquor store two minutes later when buying a 12-pack of beer.

Damn, hell of a week.  Monday and Tuesday spent unpacking, organizing, moving, and reviewing what all we own and what we need to buy.  Weds and Thurs catching up on everything I've missed during the move and two of my p/t employees gave their 2 weeks notice and the applicant pool looks pretty rough so far.

tl;dr - drinking is starting early tonight.

you moved in with FWB?

Got the Far Cry 4 plat.  Took about 27 hours in game time to complete but it was pretty fun.  Didnt have to grind at all as I had unlocked every trophy before the last few story missions.  The XP is pretty easy to accumulate if you stealth liberate outposts and do heavy takedowns any chance you can get.  The story was pretty forgettable but I liked it a bit more than Far Cry 3 at least.  Based on a pure fun factor this is definitely in my running for GOTY.
