So, where were the $100 TVs that were promised in the press release? Did those go on sale at midnight and then quickly vanished?

Alas.

I did manage to finish CounterSpy last night so that was fun at least. Just getting started in Hype Dimension Neptunia. All these item crafting and plan building seems needlessly complicated.

I don't believe the $140 40" has gone up yet, but I could be wrong. Haven't been following too closely.

 
There's a prime deal for ps4 + arkham knight + either + 12m PS+ for $400.

If your willing to do the legwork to sell all that stuff there's potential there.

I couldn't resist that Rock the Dragon edition of DBZ. Its the fantastic original dub and its hardcover artbook packaging is fantastic. Sure its not the whole series but its still an incredible tribute to my high school self.

 
Just saw that they finished Dragonball Z Kai (after stopping with the end of the Cell arc). Cuts the number of episodes in half by removing filler. Much easier to get through, especially when re-watching the series.

I passed on it when it was $40 I'll pass on it again at $60.

This is worse than last Black Friday and last year I only bought a controller and Diablo 3.

Yeah I'm debating whether to activate the Prime trial or wait later during November-December and get it from Rightstuf.

Yeah I heard they went through the Buu stuff and are now starting a brand new series called Dragon Ball Super.

 
A lot of this stuff is a pretty good deal for people who don't sit on the internet at deal sites all day. 

I'd have picked up a pair of golds if I loved my brother more. But I don't so he can suffer without a headset.

I introduced my girl to DBZ with Kai and was actually kind of disappointed about missing some of the filler (the trip to namek, etc). She was also bummed when gave her a synopsis of the events that were cut. We'll go back and watch it at some point. Good thing is she's hooked now and is seemingly even more excited than I am at seeing the movie in theaters next month, not to mention the new series. :lol:

Vizio Wireless surround

I have a much older receiver, speakers combo, that when it first starts up will lose signal every 30 seconds or so for about 10 minutes, and the remote no longer works, wondering if this would be a good switch?

 
So my favorite current band, Silversun Pickups, announced a new album today and have a bunch of pre-order packages available on their site right now as band do now a days.

Some highlights (all include a digital version of the album):

  • Undeveloped disposable camera filled with pictures taken by the band members while recording the album ($50)
  • A hand written postcard from the band while they're on tour ($50)
  • A skype drum lesson from their awesome drummer ($500)
  • Handwritten lyrics sheets signed by the band, one for each song on the album ($300)
  • A goddamn nightlight, because their first single is a song called Nightlight ($15)
Gotta get me the nightlight.  And maybe the t-shirt.  Or all of it.

 
That Samsung 50" 4K 3D TV with 4k video pack is still up on Amazon Prime Now. Too bad I don't have the funds or I'd partake of that. Maybe.

There isn't a lot on Prime Now's Prime Day sale, but there are some things that are dead on the regular website, like the Roomba.

Part of it is the ol' slap a sale sign on it, and people will be OOH SALE and buy almost anything.

Not to mention the stay at home soccer moms drinking wine, spending their husband's money, and him being blissfully unaware until two days from now when a ton of Amazon boxes show up. YOU SPENT HOW MUCH ON THIS? :headache: But it was on sale! :bouncy: Scene.

 
BestBuy.com seems to be down. Cancelling all those GCs is taking it's toll.

EDIT: back up. They didn't cancel mine yet, so I think I'm good to go!

Other then that one sale they haven't been below $60 all year. 40% off MSRP isn't horrible if you didn't happen to have a Target with them actually in stock.
