I have never seen any of the movies that Breakfuss listed. But then I guess I haven't seen most Xmas movies. But A Christmas Story is hard to beat. I'd probably include Christmas Vacation, but I only saw it once a long time ago and don't remember a lot about it now.

Rudolph fuck ers! Yukon Cornelius, The Bumble, Herby, The Land of Misfit toys! Christmas fuck ing gold bitches. Not to mention Raging Rudolph the spoof:

Of course Die Hard, Christmas Vacation, Charlie Brown Christmas and Home Alone should be on the list as well. Probably more I'm forgetting.

Gremlins

Scrooged

Nightmare Before Christmas

Christmas Vacation

and that Disney animated Christmas Carol short with Scrooge McDuck

were holiday staples that I watched around Christmas time when I was younger.

edit: and Rudolph

Crap, I forgot about A Charlie Brown Christmas. That pushes Home Alone 2 off my list.

You've never heard of the "all time holiday classic" Jingle all the Way?

Waiting for my face to face interview. It's at 11:30. I don't know who told me to show my boobs last time (Zimm?) but ya I'm interviewing with at least one woman so probably not a good idea

(I'm nervous trying to take my mind off of it. Can you tell? Each time before my interviews I was reading this thread laughing, which I think helped, so thanks guys :) )

Hey now, we can't start adding all these xmas specials into the lists. Then there's rudolph, frosty, the grinch, claymation, Charlie brown, garfield, and many more...thsee are a whole different category.

Christmas Movies

The Year Without a Santa Claus
Rudolph the red nosed reindeer (the claymation thing)
Island of misfit toys
Santa Claus is coming to town
How the grinch stole christmas
Mickeys Christmas carol

True Story (regarding Xmas movies):

When I lived in Green Bay (circa 1996), my first year or so there I worked at a video store.  Every once in awhile, a Packer player would come in to rent some movies.  One night close to closing time, we had the Muppet Christmas Carol playing in the store, and legendary Packers fullback William Henderson comes in with his wife/girlfriend/mistress.  As he's walking around looking at movies, I hear him singing along to the movie to himself in full Kermit the Frog voice.

Agreed. Xmas TV specials like Charlie Brown & Rudolph can't be ranked beside Christmas Story & Elf & Vacation.

C'mon people, we're civilized! Let's act like it!

Did any of them ever come in to rent porn?

Sounds like a fun dude.

No that wasn't me. But I'm flattered?

The only person I unsuccessfully ask to show me her boobs is my wife.

Yup. Antonio Freeman did once and practice squad turned regular squad cornerback Rodrick Mullen did all the time. I actually had to call the later's house because one of his movies was late. I think Dorsey Levens had rented one once before as well.

Awesome stories zimm! I'm always jealous of people seeing celebrities at their workplace. My ex used to work at a hotel where players would stay when they were in milwaukee. She had Nick Barnett and Ryan Grant stay there a lot, and also the Fonz and Willie Nelson! Current gf works at a cafe where Brewers lucroy and Estrada are regulars.
The best I get is seeing Toni Kukoc walking arouND the mall...

Vig thanks for the BBY price adjustment information. The girl just did an exchange and gave me back $17.28. I didn't pre-order since my friend decided to get it the day after release. I called my friend and told him I got him back money and he told me to keep it.

I like free money.

Kukoc....hahaha....sorry man. I got to meet current NASCAR Rookie of the Year Kyle Larson at my current job multiple times (once here, few times in Charlotte).

I used to see Packers out and about a decent amount when I lived there. Drove by Gilbert Brown on the highway once. Saw Don Beebe and Adam Timmerman at the mall.

And this isn't in public, but here's a picture of Travis Jervey almost running over my wife on a bike at training camp because she jumped in front of him to take a picture for her roommate.

When I was in college I was a server at a restaurant in a museum here in Baltimore. A lot of celebrities used to come to the museum since the owner is related to Edward Norton. I remember waiting on Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon, Alan Rickman, David Byrne from The Talking Heads, Fred Schneider from the B-52s and Ed Norton. Selma Hayek came in one time, but I did not wait on her. She is incredibly attractive, but very short.

My Vita is Here, My Vita is Here, one more time for luck, My Vita is Here-

It is on like Donkey Kong! If I can figure out how to actually use it.  My office Xmas party is tonight so tomorrow will be spent trying to figure this device out.

Any suggestions on the Ps+ game I should break this bad boy in with?  My cheap A** won't be buying games-

Yahoo!

I've seen a decent amount of famous peeps from my days working at hotels too.

Billy Idol, Joe Walsh, the Wallflowers, some random country singer people, Scotty Bowman, Matt Birk, Virgil (Ted Dibiassi's old WWF bodyguard character), Mr. Belding, tons of Minnesota Wild players (the youngins stayed w/ us during training camp & call-ups).

My brother once had to chase Aaron Carter around the indoor waterpark after hours at the hotel he was the GM at because he snuck in there in the middle of the night.

Gravity Rush is a good choice if you secured the PS+ness of it while it was free.

I haven't seen many famous people. The closest I get is probably seeing the wife of former Maryland Governor Bob Ehrlic. We were at an Irish pub/restaurant and she was with some group of important looking people at the table nearest us on the other side of the restaurant. Then we only had our youngest son. He threw up.

Pix the Cat. Or Velocity Ultra. Or Velocity 2X.

We run into athletes and coaches fairly regularly in Tampa.  Met Lovie Smith just before the season at our local pizza place.  Have run into:  Warren Sapp, Mike Alstott, Warrick Dunn, Jose Molina, Martin St Louis, Dave Andrechuck and others through the years that I cannot remember.

The best story I have is when my wife and I were going to Vegas before we married.  Tony Dungy had just been fired from the Bucs and hired by Indy.  My wife was randomly selected to do the whole body search or whatever while I waited.  Then right behind her is Tony Dungy.  My then girlfriend and Tony Dungy were standing next to each other spread eagle being searched by TSA.  I wish our phones had cameras on them at that time.  And my digital camera (I think I had one in 2002?) was in the luggage.  So I didnt get a picture.  fuck ing makes me mad to this day because it was awesome.  Afterwards we sat across for him in the lobby waiting for the plane and I got to thank him for making the Bucs good for the first time in my life.  A bunch of people sitting there wished him luck too.

I also used to work for Danny Jackson from the 85 KC Royals. He opened a bowling alley here called Incred-A-Bowl. Mostly his wife ran it, but he would come in sometimes and be a jackass.

Speaking of the bucs, you guys better not try to play spoilers this weekend! Mike Alstott is one of my favs of all time...Remember Reggie Cobb? He used to frighten me as a kid against the packers. This was back when the bucs were in our division, which never made sense.
