Everytime I see C-3PO, I think of Dot Matrix from Spaceballs.  Mel Brooks really hit the nail on the head with Joan Rivers's character.

 
yeah just checked my character, iv got a level 26 purple hulking titan class mod for the gunzerker if ya wanna jump in my game and try it on. im only on ps3 tho

 
So how much better is DmC definitive than the original version? Can't decide whether to pick up the Vergil DLC while it is on sale since I have the original from PS+ (haven't played it yet) or just wait and pick up the Definitive edition later on sale when I get a PS4.

If I don't have something he can use now and he doesn't have PS3 I could get on with you and grab it for him. I will check later when I get home to see if I have anything he can use.

 
Finally plat Aliens Colonial Marines, after a year and a half.  I know it bombed real bad but I still enjoyed it and co-op was a blast.  Would have loved to see another Aliens based game not Alien.

Champion Pub. I like every pinball game except that one. It is the worst. I know you weren't asking about pinball but that one is bad. For vids it would have to be E.T. for the Atari 2600. That game fuck ing sucks.

I fired up Luftrauser over the weekend for the first time. Hated those controls. I probably didn't give it long enough to soak in, but man. It should be that hard to figure out a game.

I'll have to check if i grabbed it from Plus. I might not have due to my hurr durr "I already own it on 360 so why would I get it on another platform" mindset back then...

Champion Pub is the worst pinball machine? You've got to be kidding me. That game is pretty fun, but anyway, Popeye and Bugs Bunny's Birthday Bash would like a word with you.

 
champion pub is fun!  the training exercises are a nice touch and getting momentum up for jab combo(s) + face punch for the knockout is pretty rad.  I do really like terminator 2 also.  a lot less heavy on the precision with a forgiving gap in the middle lets you just wail away and still turn in a reasonable score.

re rev 2 vita is as laggy as hell which is a shame.  looks slightly more playable than I expected, but I bet the flamethrower part with the guys coming in to the room at the end of chapter 1 is just terrible.  there's environments that are way more complicated in later levels so I expect it to get worse too.

Ok, I'll admit, Bugs Bunny is pretty bad, Popeye is pretty bad as well. I will stand by my Champion Pub comment forever. I used to say I never met a pinball I didn't like, then I played Champion Pub. Maybe it's the theme, maybe its the big bash toy in the middle, maybe its just that I don't understand it. I can appreciate the creativity of the Jump Rope or the boxing gloves at the top, just not a huge fan of all the stop and go play. Flip kid flip!

On the other side of the coin, what is your favorite game? Tough question, I know.

It's funny because before I read up on the Wizard goals this morning, I didn't realize you could do those jab combos and score a knock out. I got pretty respectable scores I think before that and enjoyed the table layout. Can't wait to play it later.

And me and my buddies would play that T2 machine all the time at the local bowling alley. So many good quotes and action going on in there. So fired up to play it for extended periods, trophies be damned!

Yup. Was super super disappointed. And they made each of the four characters have a different style of jumping. So you never knew which character was best for which level. And the controls were floaty and the wall and ceiling running weren't nearly as precise as they needed to be.

 
The Champion Pub wizard goals (Vita) haven't been completed by many. 4% on TrueTrophies. I don't have them all yet, so obviously I'll be trying for that this week.

I think a lot of people must have an issue with the controls in Gravity Crash Ultra because the percent that have just completed the campaign is pretty low. I think they should have defaulted to the classic controls. Those make so much more sense for this type of game.

Yup, I did a significant amount of bitching about that game when I bought and played it. Besides some trophies being glitched and never actually being patched, I also hated the thrusting controls in that. Pretty sure it was chewy who was saying I was dumb. But yeah, Luftrausers would have been ok (not great) with a regular control option. With the thrust only style it was a waste of money.

Yeah, there's three options and they give you the choice when you start. I'm sure you can change it in options too. Pick classic and don't look back.

Please don't bring up the fact I didn't grab Rayman Origins for Vita and later bought a copy. I was like I have no interest in this game. Doh!

 
I got use to the controls in Luftrausers and I enjoyed the game quite a bit. I wasn't that concerned about the unobtainable trophy, but they should have fixed that and it sucks that they didn't.

Yeah I tried all three. I'm just not into that type of game I guess. It makes sense since it is in space there is going to be momentum in the direction you are heading but I hate that. That's why I really didn't like Pixeljunk Shooter. For some reason I thought it would play like Super Stardust Ultra, in the way of controlling the ship.

Speaking of Luftrausers, I wish those guys would finish up Nuclear Throne and it get it out on PSN already. Very cool and fun game, but I don't play games on my computer much. They keep adding and changing stuff. I'm starting to think they are never going to consider it done and thus never release it on PSN.

This was back when I had first gotten a PS3 and I was only interested in exclusives or games I hadn't beat on 360 already. If they ever had a way to merge trophies/achievements on a site I suspect my TT score wouldn't be so pitiful.

I thought it was pretty fun, but yeah it does take a bit of a time investment due to how different the controls are. And yes, one trophy is still broken (and it triggers the 100% completion trophy, so that makes 2.) I tweeted the dev back upon release of the Vita port and never got a response about it.

 
I haven't touched Pinball Arcade in quite some time. Are all the tables cross-buy from Vita/PS3/PS4? I think I initially bought it on Vita. Are the sale prices of $15 for Season 1 and 2 the way to go? I'm not sure how many tables I actually bought back in the day. I guess I'll have to fire it up to see.

Yeah, I wouldn't have gotten all the trophies even if they did fix it. But it's a clear sign that the dev has no interest supporting their own game on PSN, which is lame.

Dev is Vlambeer, they're a mobile developer and seems to be where they spend a lot of their time. Has me concerned for Nuclear Throne, though that's not even coming to mobile. Assuming it ever comes at all.

However, Vlambeer is actually very active in the video game press world. They built a press kit template that basically every indie game now uses and they've started an alpha of a review code distribution software for managing and handling press review requests. They let all indie developers use both of those for free. So I gotta give them some credit there.

The season packs have never been less than $15 as far as I know and I suspect they won't be. I believe ps3/vita is crossbuy (have to check the webstore page) but ps4 is a separate purchase.

Just Vita and PS3 are cross-buy. PS4 is all on its own.

I had a PS3 first by about a year but ended up playing a lot more on 360.

 
oh my god, just playing borderlands 2 for a few minutes and it reminds me how freaking awesome and fun that game is. My gunzerker has like +75% life at level 30, so 5000 life, but he still goes down in a matter of seconds. so awesome tho

does the ps4 have better graphics really tho? cell shaded just seems hard to improve. and the lack of another trophy list sucks too. iv already got borderlands 2 and presequel on ps3, so i think im good on that
