I want to nominate Metal Gear Solid 4 as best new game in 2014 since it just came out digitally.  Also, MGS Ground Zeros as best platinum trophy.

 
So this really hot chick at work that I made friends with decided to start working at home recently but she came into the office today. She sat behind me and so I asked her if she wanted to try out my miracle berries. She was intrigued lol. We're discussing hanging out and partying. Might invite another cute girl to share.

First time I've seen this - resogun vita actually won't run without the patch.

I'll definitely get Escape Goat 2 for $4! Nice! Also may grab Nidhogg for $8.99, but maybe I'll wait that one out a little longer.

I already have it, but Race the Sun is cool and worth $6.

$5 seems cool, $6 feels like a light slap so I'm not sure yet. I'll mull it over...hopefully there is a bitchin flash sale. You know so I can add more games to the ocean of my backlog to lull me to sleep at night.

 
Gamefly's end-of-year sale is live, though I only found out about it thanks to an email--I guess Cheapy didn't think it was worth making a thread. There aren't even any Vita games on sale.

There's nothing worth getting unless you're up for flipping to Amazon: How to Train Your Dragon 2 (3DS) is $9.99 and trades in to Amazon for $19.51 per copy. If you order 2+ games from Gamefly, you'll get Priority Mail shipping for free.

Thanks. I don't flip since I saw that I might as well get on it. Might try out the game a bit before I send it over to amazon.

Sad that there are no vita games on sale.

Those three games are the only three that piqued my interest from the current sales. All of them feel like Plus fodder, though. Nidhogg is the only one I was more than passively interested in, but it also has the worst discount and I get the sense I won't enjoy it that much playing solo.

Isn't Race the Sun and endless runner? I'm pretty sure it was you who made me buy TxK, so I have to be extra wary of your recommendations.

It was my understanding that Race the Sun has you move around obstacles in your ship in a number of finite levels. But that levels end.

Ok, maybe it wasn't an endless runner. Are the levels maybe procedurally generated? I remember some sort of buzz word like that turning me off when it was released. Or maybe I'm crazy.

You're not running, but yes it is that in effect, but better I think. I'm not going to say it is earth shatteringly great or anything, but it is pretty addicting and fun. Sorry you didn't like TxK. TxK is a good game, but maybe you need to have played Tempest 2000 back in the day to like it.

EDIT: In Race the Sun there is a new procedurally generated level each day wit it's own leaderboard. Actually there's several modes, some you have to unlock, that have their own procedurally generated level for the day. There is also a mode unique to the PSN version in which there is an end, but it is pretty different. I don't like it as much as the main modes.

There's also a bug in Race the Sun which has yet to be fixed that will let you progress through levels faster than you should be able to. If you only have 1 star to go to the next level, and complete a one star goal, you'll advance level and you'll still have only one star to go. Whoops. I didn't really mind it.

Getting the same message. Updated fine, then launched and instead of saying "Press Start" on the title screen it says "Error. Unable to validate full version of the game." Maybe it wasn't supposed to be free for PS+ owners?

If we are now locked out of playing it on Vita I'm going to be very sad. :( I mean we "purchased" it, and so we can't purchase it again, but our $0 purchase doesn't work (well, I'm assuming - I haven't downloaded it yet). I was OK with buying it for real, but here I thought they'd given us a little Xmas present….

EDIT: nah, it's just a bug. Says in the description:

Cross-buy between PS4, PS3, and PS Vita.

Ground Zeroes for $6.80 doesn't sound too bad, but I can't help but think it'll be packaged with The Phantom Pain in some way when it releases. Batman dlc it is then.
