not that often that i get really excited about an indie, but that looks really really cool. i also love how it shows your position and times on the back window of the car. any mode that forces stunts will probably be super frustrating.

I saw a bunch at one marked at full price over the weekend, which meant no one knew they were $40. I thought about it but the few negative reviews about them cracking after awhile and me having a big head made it a no go (not to mention I have too many headphones already).

I've worried about that too... but as long as your careful and put them on slowly shouldn't be a problem... i love them, the most comfortable headsets I own. I use them for everything now

I saw those same reports for the Pulse Elites when I was thinking about buying them, and they are still wonderful a year after I bought them. People are just careless with their shit. And dumb.
 
made a couple last minute purchases. nfl arcade and bulletstorm. if something decent goes on sale today, and that new vita rpg is a good price, i might go for the 100. mostly cause i really want to buy tales from borderlands.

I should be getting Shadows of Mordor in the mail sometime in the next couple of days. At least I have 1 game I really like as an option. I expect that I will like Mordor as well and that will make the decision a bit more difficult.

Burnout seems like it would be more satisfying for a plat of any magnitude. 300 of them is fucking insane though.

 
The Golds fit great on the left side, but on the right they're a bit uncomfortable over my ear. It feels almost like the cup isn't as deep on the right and it's pressing my ear in. Maybe my right ear sticks out more. You'd think somebody would have told me that, though.  :whistle2:k

Yeah despite posting the deal in the thread I didn't buy them either. I have the older PS3 ones and I just don't use them all that often. They work with the PS4 as well. I mainly use them once in a while late at night more for the sound than playing online which I rarely if ever do. I thought getting those at launch for $60 from Amazon was a good deal though. $40 is pretty much highway robbery.

I had the Pulse and now the Golds.  And I have a big head.  Like 7 3/4 size.  And neither cracked or show abnormal wear.  But as Zimm said people are dumb and dont take care of shit.  They think its okay to throw them on the floor when not playing games and taking them off their head using only one side which pulls the bridge.

And people are gross.

I have a very large head. I can never wear a one size fits all hat. IIRC, a fitted hat size for me was an 8. I have no problem with the golds and they are comfortable..

I don't really have any advice, but I will say that in my experience mattress salesmen are pushy as fuck. Way worse than any car dealers I've ever interacted with.

So I bought Mordor along with Infamous in the flash sale and despite showing Infamous in my transaction list (Media tab) it doesn't show Mordor but if I go to complete history I can see the purchase. It also says purchased when I search it in the store, has anyone else run into this?

i saw one for illinois a while back on facebook, but this was all google found. we're not as cold here, but still cold. i was pushing carts in just a tshirt last week cause we had a day in the 40s. people kept asking me if i was cold while they had like 6 scarves wrapped around their face. i'm assuming they were all here on holiday from the south.

Exfuckingactly. I get cold very easily, but grow some skin. Bitching to yourself about it helps. But only when it's below zero. Like all of January last year.

It looks a bit like San Francisco Rush 2049 inside a Tron inspired universe, color me interested. Though the effects on the track are so busy I don't know how well you are going to be able to control it. I see a lot of places in the video where the floor is completely transparent and thus difficult to tell where the side of the road ends.

I know those extremely cold temperatures have to be tough, but you guys seriously don't want to face the wrath of a South Ga summer. I used to do construction work right on through it. Humidity so high it feels like you can barely breathe at times. It's absolutely terrible.

Oh shit, I played this at PAX. I thought it sounded familiar. I didn't like it, but the demo was really weird so it was hard to judge. The demo seemed to have no real goal. I drove for 3 or 4 minutes on what was basically a straight path with no options for turns, then got told to drive somewhere else. It was about a 10 minute demo and I basically drove in a straight line the whole time. Hopefully the game is better now.

It was kind of incredible that 4 or 5 of the indie devs there had really awful demos that didn't show off their game well at all

Also the Parks and Rec final (half) season premieres in January and they're doing 2 episode blocks per week and the finale is in February.

 
Cold weather I don't mind, it's the accompanying ice you have to scrape off and snow you have to shovel that annoys me. Cold you can always fix by adding more layers, in hot weather you can only take off so many layers before there's nothing else you can do but suffer.
