They could be Samsung and make the TV out of gold and it would be a bad deal. Rich people wont even buy it since they arent a name brand synonymous with money either, so they are wasting resources with this TV.

Yea what the hell was Vizio thinking!  And honestly what makes these worth that much?  I thought it was a joke when it first posted.

Scratch that somewhat, didn't realize the ultra 4k TV's were so much!  Samsung 88 inch is $20k at BB.  

But other 65" 4k's run between 1k and 2k for a decent selection, what truly makes the other ones 20k and up?

I agree Vizio is great bang for buck but if your dropping that much than I'd be looking at other brands. By the way my new 4k Vizio set is awesome so far. PS4 games look great and the 4K footage I've seen looks insane with the amount of detail on the screen.
 
Got the PS3 back last week. Instead of repairing it,  they gave me a newer version with silver buttons and it doesn't have any dings or anything - it looks new.  They also gave me a 120 GB which is great since I originally shipped my Vaio's defective 250 GB SATA with the broken PS3 (both used Toshiba).  I still have data backed up so I can put in my 500 GB Seagate no problem.

Tomorrow it's all about Rock Band 4.

And having McDonald's breakfast after noon.

Maybe just go to the nearest America's Tire? They'll usually have a good idea about what your best value is and run a lot of specials. Plus free tire rotations, free repairs if you get a nail. I wouldn't know anything about that specific tire but the last tires I got were Yokohama and they've worked well.

I've never even heard of Ohtsu tires.

This isn't like buying a fridge. Maybe you should splurge a little.

Many of the launch PS4s had issues with crappy HDMI ports. Something got easily bent in the jack I think. Wonder if this is the maybe the problem vs a GPU.

One of the reasons I decided to trade my launch one and get a newer one earlier this year. I understand that yours has sentimental value though.

yokohama is a good brand. never heard of ohtsu either. if you want more options that are cheaper, i would try looking at other tire shops. the cheapest tire is never your best option, imo.

i know, walmart, but i'm sure other shops around you carry those brands. just not sure what you have around. goodyear viva 3s are great tires, and douglas performance are good too. i would avoid xtra tracs(i know your cheap ass would love those). though even those i would buy over the ohtsus.

I would check the owners manual for the recommended speed rating for tires on your car. You usually don't want to go below that rating, or you can notice performance differences like rougher ride.

I had a guy talk me into an S rated tire for my wife's 626 years ago, the manual recommended Z rated, and I hated those tires. The ride was not the same; especially at highway speeds.

I haven't heard of the Ohtsu brand, but part of the reason for the price difference is probably due to the tread wear rating. The Yokohomas are rated to wear twice as long, so they won't be expecting you to buy another set of tires as soon as if you bought the Ohtsus.
 
So tonight was fun. Had a free scotch tasting right after work at the local liquor store. Cute Asian girl talking about scotch while I snack on meats and cheeses and get drunk is hard to complain about.  :cool:

I guess it's not unprecedented, especially since Arrieta hit two Pirates, but it just looks petty when you're down by 4  and getting absolutely dominated in a playoff game.

Yeah, that's disgusting. Kinda sad that I might have to cheer for the Dodgers in the NLCS, cuz I'm sure as hell not cheering for either of those two teams. Of course I'd prefer the Mets in the NL.

AL Astros of course. I don't really have any beef with any of the AL teams though. I guess Texas is kinda lame, I hope they lose.

 
Well that was annoying. I haven't been to taco bell for a year or two so I went on the website to look at the menu to choose what big box to get. I get to the store and not one of the four big boxes from the website menu were available at the restaurant. All they had were frito big boxes.

 
Ha, I'd never watched this 30 for 30 on the USFL before.  Everybody and their mother is just killing on Trump in this thing, and he can't admit any sort of mistake.  Anyone thinking of voting for this guy should watch this doc.

Usually on forum complaints you see people posting things like, "Sucks for you, I'm not having any problems!" Instead in this situation you're seeing 100% of people saying that the drums are shit. In fact, the one guy I did see who posted that he didn't have any problems later went back and revised his statement after playing some more.
