I still have no idea what you guys see in October 14. I have no idea how it made it this far...

I know plenty in here including pitfall don't believe the Broncos D is as good as the Ravens or Bucs were when they won the superbowl, but this article as well as some others pointing to this Broncos team actually being better on D. So with a serviceable Manning, this team could easily compete for the superbowl...

Broncos D good at every level
I haven't seen most of their games this year, but against the Packers, that was one of the best defensive performances I've seen. It seemed the only offensive progress we made were because of a few penalties. It may take the New England game in a couple weeks for them to really show everyone how legit they are.

Arkham Asylum + Dust + Pix the Cat (+ Spelunky?) = GTFO
Arkham Asylum was ancient by the time we actually got it (over 5 years old). Pix the Cat was fun for a while but certainly not the greatest (tho having the dev here was fun). Spelunky was crossbuy so anyone who actually owned it would have had it for free anyway.

At least for me, I am not picking based on what was the best month for me. I am picking based on the best game lineup. Even if AA was old as balls by that point, I am not going to discount the lineup because of it. If there were no other good games in the month it might be different, but there were a lot of good options.

I love Rocket League, but the other games that month were meh. That is why I stopped voting for it when it ran up against these other months.

I'm not considering whether or not I already owned Spelunky (which of course I did). Plus others getting it led to the awesome Spelunky DC tournament. That wins right there.

I put 100+ hours into Rainbow moon, so I probably got the most out of October 14...plus AA is top 10 ps3 game material whether I played it before plus or not....and vig has free pix the cat swag..so that's pretty cool

Yeah I think that's how most people are voting. I'm not. I'm trying to keep whether I already owned the game or not out of my view of the lineup, but I'm definitely taking into account things like age of the game & then crossbuy stuff.

Yea I'm definitely at the conclusion like that. Was funny, leading up to the GB game, people said wait till he plays Rodgers. I am just glad the Broncos have an actual tough schedule this year. GB, Cincy, and NE should allow us to put critics to rest if we do in fact play well.

and arkham asylum, despite its age, got a fourth replay out of me after it went on ps+.  that's a good ass game.

I've only played half of jan 14 (didn't play either AAA or worms) and I liked smart as and brothers.  but not as much as I like rainbow moon, pix the cat and (have a vague appreciation for) spelunky.

The best part about that dev joining was pharm's comment right before he started posting.

And now we have water dripping from our ceiling. Truly a magical place to work!
Better then at your house. Yesterday damn water line to the refrigerator sprung a small pin hole leak. Ruined some of the tiled ceiling in the basement and maybe a small section of sheet rock in a small closet in the basement. Trying to get someone out to look at it and get some estimates has so far been a PIA. I will have to ask my neighbor across the street if he has a handyman type guy he uses. Don't think there is too much water / mold worries. Luckily it wasn't last week when we were out of town I guess.

This crack on my Chromebook is rapidly spreading. Maybe I will head to best buy tomorrow on my day off.

Started Don't Starve last night. No checkpoints? Roguelike? Maybe I should have paid more attention before I purchased it.

Start of a cold coming on has already partially zombiefied me.

You bought Don't Starve? But it was free on PS+... :shame:

Treyarch decided to blend Smash TV gameplay with a Blood Dragon-esque vibe for BLOPS 3's "hidden" arcade game:

I was all in love with this move until the actual gameplay had no pixel art anywhere and was full of boring regular game graphics.

Laaaaaaaaaaaame.

Honestly I'm kind of happy. I'm glad Syndicate is great and everyone is enjoying it. It just hopefully means they'll think twice before releasing a buggy mess like Unity. I know it was eventually fixed but some more time in the oven probably would have helped that game. Assassin's might just end up as a game for me that I check out every 2 or 3 iterations \ wait for reviews.

A buddy here at work has one of these Yeti tumblers. It keeps his coffee hot all day and ice stays in ice form all day as well. He says they have put beer in it and it stays ice cold as well. Ima buy 5 of them! 1 for me and the rest as xmas gifts.

My cousin had one of those at my brother's wedding a couple months ago and was singing the praises of it as well. Was walking around with cold beer all night. If only they weren't so damn pricey.

EDIT: Actually just looked at the link and that's not too bad. I thought cuz said they were way more expensive.

Well yeah I didnt think it had to be said. You are barred from buying one.

$30-$40 bucks seems high for a cup.

I've got some Teavana yixing clay tea infusers. They're pretty cool; the interior of the tumbler is lined with the clay, and it absorbs tea particles. You can't mix and match without fouling things up, but after using the cup it really adds to the flavor. Unfortunately Teavana quit making them a couple years ago and they're on the fragile side. I've had two of them start leaking due to accidentally being knocked over and they're harder to find on eBay now. They were around $15 when I got them, though.
