Sometimes you have to splurge a little on things you enjoy.  Plus its a good xmas gift as everyone I know drinks coffee or some beverage and complains about it getting too cold or too warm too fast.   And I dont know anyone that owns one in my family.

According to PSN Profiles I've earned at least 1 trophy in 150 of them. But there's 34 of those 150 that I didn't really play a lot of and will still go back to at some point.

So I'd say I've played 116 of them.
Went through my PS4 library a couple days ago before I trade it in. I had 64 games installed. No way I've played 64, but they're on there lol. PSNP says I've played 25 which sounds far more reasonable.

I just overheard chatter that they're trying to get some sort of one day only awesome video game deal on the ol' Cartwheel. I heard the number 40% off all and the Thursday before Christmas tossed around.

May or may not actually happen in this form or others, but just be aware.

Also shhhhhhhhhhhhhh

(I'll probably delete this post later)

Honestly I'm kind of happy. I'm glad Syndicate is great and everyone is enjoying it. It just hopefully means they'll think twice before releasing a buggy mess like Unity. I know it was eventually fixed but some more time in the oven probably would have helped that game. Assassin's might just end up as a game for me that I check out every 2 or 3 iterations \ wait for reviews.
Or are people tiring of 2 or 3 AC releases every year? Or are there many other popular games come out at the same time? They could very well be spinning why sales are down vs saying maybe the franchise is getting a bit too exploited? I will play it but I feel like I played Unity and Rogue this year. I can wait for it to be cheaper. Probably a combo of factors.

This might be the least surprising thing you've ever said.
I picked one up on clearance since there's a Teavana at one of the local malls. I don't buy tea there since their stuff is way overpriced, but there aren't a lot of places where you can actually get your hands on a tea infuser tumbler. The thing worked great, so the wife picked me up one to keep at work and when she broke it I bought 2 more online.

I've talked a few times about how I drink a lot of tea, so yeah it shouldn't be a huge surprise.

2-3? The only year there's been more than once main series entry was Rogue and Unity, which released on different platforms.

I heard there might be some really cool one day Target video game sale.  Might be linked to Cartwheel.  I hope I get a PM message if/when it happens.

AC China or whatever. Sometimes it just seems like over load. I have all three consoles so if they are good I will eventually give most of them a shot. Just don't need to play them on day one.

Yeah true, I've always felt like it was too many games but it's also that I don't always have the time for them every year either. I've only ever played some of 1, Liberation on Vita, and Black Flag. I finished Liberation and Black Flag. With so many other games though I stopped feeling bad about missing some of them especially when the "story" while great in premise never really panned out and is ultimately forgettable.

It's not all bad though Assassin's affords Ubi to do other stuff outside the box as well since it sells well every year. I would like to see another POP at some point. Not sure many people played The Forgotten Sands but it was definitely enjoyable.

LOL I have Liberation in my Vita but haven't started it yet. Forgot about that.

That's not a main series entry, though. It takes ~10 hours to 100%. Granted there's supposed to be a couple more like it for India and Russia so maybe a compilation release would offer around the same amount of gameplay. Even with that the gameplay is so different that I wouldn't consider releases in the same year to be repetitive.

A buddy here at work has one of these Yeti tumblers. It keeps his coffee hot all day and ice stays in ice form all day as well. He says they have put beer in it and it stays ice cold as well. Ima buy 5 of them! 1 for me and the rest as xmas gifts.

I thought I taught you guys better than this. You should not want ice cold beer!

Man with all the open world games currently (mission 36 in MGS now) a 10 hour game sounds pretty fuck ing awesome to me right now.

Maybe but Ubisoft was saying it was the Unity issues that caused first week sales to be lower because they say they saw an uptick in second week sales. So it makes sense that people waited a week to buy until they heard there were no issues.

my wife has this, similar works amazing... literally uses it for water with ice, ice never melts. Can use it with hot items as well like Tea.... didn't think of beer?!?!?!?

Hydro Flask

Yeah, I'm pretty much done with too cold beers. Definitely kills the flavor.
I get a lot of funny looks when I go to a local restaurant that has a ton of taps. The temp is more for the regular American Lager stuff. I sit with my hands wrapped around my glass until my beer warms up a bit so I can taste it.

I put myself on the list to get notified about the 20oz Yeti Tumbler. Will use it for coffee in the morning. Well, if I end up buying it. $30 is a lot, I assume plus shipping.

I went to a bar a couple weeks ago and ordered then let my drink sit there for ~30 min before I touched it. I swear the glass was about as cold as any bottom of the cooler bottles I've ever had.

the one I posted was $33 with prime shipping, and it's 32 OZ's

And have heard a lot of people are choosing this one over the Yeti because it is a normal sized bottle for the same price.

But that's like a water bottle. I want it for coffee. Also I don't want anything larger than 20 oz. I don't drink mass quantities of coffee in the morning - that extra space would just be a waste.
