Holy shit. Got 48 kills in Hero Hunt. Got the first 17 playing as Han, but killed it on the 2nd one as Leia. Probably would have gotten the 50 to end the game early, but I didnt get my 3rd shot until there were 8 seconds left. Thats probably the hardest mode to get a win in since it is free fo all but now I just need to play and win Droid Run for those 2 trophies.

What are the best modes to try out in Battlefront. I didn't get much of a chance to play other than a handful of games with you yahoos. The only mode I played in was the heroes vs villians mode or whatever, which was meh.

Here are 2 IMs I sent Tyler last night to respond to both of these posts....

I have no idea what I am doing in Skyscrappers other than popping trophies like crazy

Wow, that didn't look like a Common plat based on the trophy descriptions. Pharm would probably love it if it appeared in a flash sale.
the plat percentage on the PS4 is 46.3% I cant think of one I have ever seen that was that high, maybe one of the Telltale games is

Alan Wake is an awesome game. Walking around in the dark woods actually made for one of the scarier games I played last gen. The story is pretty solid, too.  I was kind of disappointed that we were getting Quantum Break instead of an AW sequel since the story is definitely not wrapped up by the end. But Quantum Break gameplay does look pretty amazing.

But were not getting it...it's on that "other" console :(

I look forward to coming to this part at some point in Persona 4 Golden!

I'm surprised that it seems I am one of the few here really diving into Fallout...  Already at 50% on the trophies, about to finish my institute play through before tackling a brotherhood of steel play through.

Not excited for the dumb benevolent leader trophy that is giving so many people problems.  Otherwise Fallout has a very good trophy list.  Lots of progression stuff, some collectibles (a lot that you get just from playing through), and also kill x or do x number of times, which happen naturally.

other than the level trophies (IE level 8 evil karma) both Fallout 3 and skyrim were very good trophy lists

Point is Bethesda does a good job of rewarding you throughout and not having many grindy trophies... for how big the games are, simply completing them gets you most of the rewards.

They had a convo on best trophy lists look like on "PS I Love You XOXO" Playstation podcast. Brought up the Fallout list and how balanced it is, and then ripped on their worst list which was the Last of Us. Saying how it never gave you the carrot of progressing through the game for trophies with chapter trophies or something throughout. Not to mention how long the online trophies took.

They said Uncharted was better and hoping that Naughty Dog learned from the complaints that the Last of Us trophies received.

the last of us trophies seemed very purposeful and I think it was smart to not have progression trophies.  they were going for this ambiance and minimalism and deftly accomplished it without a single distracting video gamey element or anyth

36 hours for Amazon to ship my replacement chromebook.

Estimated time until one the kids breaks it again....(3 weeks?)  "CLOSE ALL YOUR WINDOWS! YOU HAVE TO GO TO NICK.COM!"

I do wish I had sprung the extra $10 for the blue or red color.

Lightning Returns has been announced for a 12/10 Steam release. Wonder if the trilogy will get a PS4 announcement soon. I'm rather expecting one at this point.

Then again we're still waiting for that FFXII HD announcement.

Yeah I felt the same. For a game like TLoU having trophies pop throughout the gameplay would ruin the immersion.

Part of the reason I'm finishing up the MGS V plat now is so I can dedicate more time to FO4 before Just Cause 3 on 12/1.

that hadn't even crossed my mind but that'd be pretty dope. I'd love to play ffxiii-2 but the ps3 is basically dead to me at this point because it is lame and old and I can't even play it on my vita.

Man Just Cause is close! HYYYYYYPPPPPPPPEEEEEEE!!!!

Random Question: Does anyone know if Minecraft Story Mode has a Digital Card I could buy the game on? I know it has  a disc version but seems silly to buy it there if it's only 1 episode. I just want to have something physical to give my son on Christmas. I guess I could just download it and print out a picture or something...lol.

So I'm way out of the loop when it comes to gaming news. Wtf is this KH 2.9 business? Did it end up being announce as 2.8 or is it something else entirely?

2.9 was found referenced in somebody's resume. The conjecture is that 2.9 will have KH 1 and 2 in a combo pack for PS3/PS4, but nothing has been announced for it.

2.8 is Dream Drop Distance HD, Kingdom Hearts X (series prequel), and Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage (small piece after BBS that focuses on Aqua and leads into KH3.)

2.8 is supposed to serve as a lead-in to KH3 (whenever that releases), but it has 3 parts like the previous KH sets:

1. Dream Drop Distance HD (the 3DS game that apparently has plot-centric stuff)

2. Birth by Sleep 0.2 Fragmentary Passage (obviously not the real name; a brand-new scenario where you play as Aqua, the girl character from BbS)

3. Kingdom Hearts X (Chi, pronounced "kai") Back Cover (a bunch of movies like Re:Mix and 358/2 Days)

"Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" is probably one of the dumber game names, though.

Wow this seems way more significant than the reddit sepculation post I did a few days ago. Interested to see where this goes. Still befuddled why those 3 Star Wars games don't have plats. If PS2 emulation is real with trophy support, the longer games should have plats.

And they said it was "As it happens, the PlayStation 4's PS2 emulator is now available, released with no fanfare whatsoever." We'll probably hear more at PSX in a couple weeks.

I hope if there is PS2 emulation that means PS1 emulation as well. In general though not sure I care too much. PS4 hotness and all.

I haven't played JC2 either, guessing I'll just go right to 3. Doesn't seem like the type of game that would punish you for not having played the previous game. PSNOT death stares aside.

I missed out on a ton of PS2 games that I'd still love to play. Adding trophies to them makes it more likely that I'd actually play them. What would really be sweet is if we could use the actual discs, but I'm sure they'll force us to buy the games digitally knowing how Sony does things.

As much as I hate how dated PS2 games look there are a few I would buy and play.  And I would hope we could move the ones we already bought over to PS4.

VICE CITY TROPHIES HHHYYYYYPPPPPPEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Backlog, unless I'm mistaken, didn't you mention a while ago that you were thinking about playing MGS: Peace Walker HD? I still have two multiplayer trophies left for the plat.

Unfortunately the PS2 games I'd most like to play require a dance mat. Now if they put out a PS2 controller/dance mat adapter, that would be amazing.
