I went for an eye test a few years ago since my wife kept telling me to go for one. She wears contacts. I kept saying nah I'm good. She's like you should go! I finally caved. 20/20 she was pissed. Lol.

Thank goodness no more fruit loops.
Should get these instead.

[quote name="jkam" post="13088740" timestamp="1449600157"]I got my pair @ BB on BF but:

...some Walmarts are marking the PS4 Gold Headset down to $38 in store.

Item ID: 34557977

We may all already have them at this point.

All the ones near me have that price listed but say out of stock.

So do you guys do any charity stuff? I'm looking for something for the holidays to get involved in with the kids but neither my wife nor I grew up in terribly charitable families (ironically my mom runs a non-profit now) so I'm not sure where to get started. We are very fortunate folks though and I feel strongly compelled to start helping other people.

I don't want to do one of those things where you just drop off wrapped presents and someone else delivers them or throw money somewhere. I want the kids to learn how to interact with people that may have a different life than them because it is important. They might be too young to understand how fortunate we are, but they're not too young to understand why you should help people if you can. I think.

I don't know if there are national charities or if I need to just keep digging local or if there are ways to help without involving ourselves without charity/churches/whatever so I thought I'd just ask here in case someone had some input.

I donated $5 to Wikipedia..........

Some deals for the holiday sale are live. So even if I'm kinda growing tired of the formula I should definitely buy TFTB for $3.75 right?

If you're looking around the holidays local shelters should have a couple options to help out with food/sweaters/jackets etc. Around spring/fall a lot of things pop up for helping plant trees and flowers. Might want to look into a boys and girls club or similar venue as well. You can usually also volunteer at local animal shelters if you want to try that route as well. You can always check the local news station websites for ideas as well, they normally run articles with information on various charities this time of year.

that tales from the borderlands price is awesome.

anyone who doesn't have resogun should mos def pick it up.  this sale at least initially has some promise.

Never had a visual field test. I do have to get my eyes dilated and numbed every year though. Sucks 'cause I get stuck with my forehead against some giant machine while my doc shines a ton of lights and touches my eyeballs with some stick thing. Watching the stick thing come at your eyes is the worst.
Yes, ever since I saw a scene in the pilot episode of David the Gnome when I was really young when an animal gets a twig stuck in its eye that type of stuff just icks me out, I can barely put drops in my eyes.

First the animal runs into a twig with his eye and it breaks off, then it starts whimpering and pawing at it. Later the Gnone sticks needles in its face to relieve pain via acupuncture before digging around in its eye with a pair of tweezers to pull out the twig.

Maybe its just schadentherm, but I always get a bit more joy than I should when other people besides me taste the Sony slap. Maybe because I'm taken so many slaps over the years?
