Online only game, the amount of people playing must have dropped a little so putting on sale to get new blood to play it for a few weeks.
Yeah maybe next year if their is a GOTY edition with the DLC for $40 or less at BB I might be interested. I was at GS trading a game today and wasn't even tempted to pick it up.

I don't know what this means.
Chelsea FC is playing Porto FC in the champions league. A player for porto knocked the ball into his teams net, scoring an Own Goal or OG. Park the bus refers to chelsea just sitting back and defending the rest of the match and not letting Porto score. Jose is short for Jose Mourhino the coach of chelsea who is criticized a lot for playing defensive football and parking the bus.

Hopefully that helps.

Yo Tyler,

Did I see you were playing Battle Trivia Knockout? Is so, how is it?
Yeah, I won it from a small website I read that was giving copies away.

It's one of the worst games I've played on PS4. Some of the ideas are (kind of) clever, but it's structured extremely poorly. I'd recommend it for $1 for an easy and quick 100%, but that's really its only redeeming value.

As far as I can tell you HAVE to have 4 players, so it fills the game with AI if there aren't 4 players, which is no fun if you just want to play with two.

There's also only 5 questions per mode, which is really stupid. It's almost impossible to knock somebody out because there's so few questions, so basically everyone is just playing for points.

There are four game modes, two of which are moderately interesting but don't work because of the 5 question structure of the game. Then the other two modes are bad. One involves tapping a button as fast as you can if you know the right answer, so whoever can rapid press buttons the fastest is going to clean up in that mode. Then there's a wager mode where you have to bet before you see the question, but you don't actually get to see the subject or anything, you're wagering 100% blind and it's dumb.

So yeah, the game is super super super bad in a variety of ways.

I was hoping it was more turned based like a game I used to play on BBSes. Global Wars. Not sure I could sit there for 30 mins or more playing it straight in a row.
How is Risk not turn-based? That's the whole game. Taking turns. And interacting when you get attacked on someone else's turn.

Wife and I are going the Therm route and just picking our own Xmas presents this year.  If target matches GameStop now, I may be able to get the guitar bundle for Guitar Hero Live for $40 after coupons and Cartwheel and RedCard.  Can't really think of anything else to add to my cheap Fire tablet.  I wonder if the PS3 version runs ok.

Not to pry or anything but are you guys one of those super rare cases where you remain close friends or something?

I hadn't watched the trailer when I posted it, which is why there was a couple minutes between those posts. No sense editing in a question, either, because then nobody would see it without refreshing.
I don't typically post a video before I watch them. If it's lame then I don't post it or if spoilerific I want to warn people of that first.

That laptop you bought her isn't enough?

Vlambeer tweeted that they are working on the reported bugs for Nuclear Throne and a patch will be submitted "soon". I'd post the tweet, but then Gator cries.

I'll vet the video first depending on what it's about and what the source is. Something from the PS Blog I'm often not going to bother doing that with, though; seeing it labeled as gameplay and the length was enough to justify posting it.

That was the plan. Not working so well in practice though. That's why we decided to pick out our own shit within a budget, so that we wouldn't have to go through the awkwardness of trying to find something for the other.

That's part of her "thing she picked out." Well the only thing. So that was easy.

The wife did want a few surprises this year so I just grabbed some random stuff I knew she'd like. I already gave it to her, which is how I found out there's a pretty silly problem with Amazon wishlists; other people looking at your wishlist have no way of knowing if something was on it after the purchase has been made. For example I knew she would want Orphan Black s3. I checked her wishlist, didn't see it, figured she just hadn't added it, and bought it. Turns out it had been on the list and somebody else already bought it, which made it invisible to me.

Owners of the list can see purchased items but somebody shopping for a friend cannot. That's a bit problematic.

Had some time to play PS3 over the past few days so started up Prototype 2.

The game is fun and the open world nice, but the whole concept is incredibly stupid.
I loved playing the game like a feral Wolverine mixed with Venom symbiote ;)

also i spent my $10 anti slap on crap. Starwhal, that anawal paranoia hidden object game for my girls and now i just got super stardust ultra cuz pharm peer pressured me. probly woulda got it all anyway. and prismatic for ps4 and got and tftb on both systems. i want jackpack 2 but i never played jackpack 1 and when i have people over we would never really locally play games so yeah . and now taco master and tina toy land or some crap. i have a problem with cheap games

The game I was talking about you would take a turn (or a few) a day. I can't see me sitting there for 30 mins to an hour taking a turn waiting. Taking a turn waiting.

I'm at the SLC airport and all these people were crowded around an old lady in a wheelchair. Then someone said grab the defibrillator just in case and I kind of freaked out. She was kind of hunched over not moving. I honestly thought she was dying.

The ambulance came and they checked her blood pressure and asked her questions. She and her daughter are on standby for the next flight and she started feeling ill. She's 98 years old. I think this is going to be her last flight.

I watched that while eating Qdoba. Decided to try out the spicy three cheese nachos with ground beef. I did enjoy it more than the burrito. The cheese sauce is pretty good. Still prefer Chipotle. Goodbye Qdoba. You will not be missed.
