Spent my first christmas eve night putting together a present for the kid, a cozy coupe. She aint woke up yet but I hope she is really excited about it.

True story: When I was 3 or 4 years old my family was moving in November for my dad's work. He went up a couple weeks early to get the new house settled. My big concern in the move was that Santa wouldn't be able to find our new house which Mom kept telling me not to worry about. One night when my Dad was traveling back and forth, Mom sent him up with all the Christmas presents including a brand new cozy coupe. Fast forward a couple weeks to when Mom and I moved up there as well, the first night there I went exploring and found all the Christmas presents in a closet. Came running into the living room yelling "SANTA FOUND US!!!" and both parents just sat there dumbfounded. Of course, that year I ended up with two Christmases.

 
so i was playing four kings casino and i won my first bingo game, then i won a game of poker at a full table, then i hit the slots and i had over 150,000. I then promptly lost it all again playing slots. oh well, good times

We weren't buying each other much since the focus was on the kids of course but I got a little summer sausage gift set and a set of whiskey glasses. Not too shabby.
 
I guess you guys saw me doing all the hard wingsuit challenges.  I went back to them on the first few islands and I beat them easily on the first try.  plat may be easier than I thought!

Is it different than the previous firework launcher? I already have one from another holiday. And isn't the rest of the stuff just normal crap you can buy?

 
Pretty low key presents wise this year.  Maybe half of it was stuff from Best Buy.

I can return an online order in store correct?  I guess I should print my online receipt?  I am thinking of returning my unopened New Order and just buying it on the PSN sale.  Slightly cheaper and has almost no trade value anyway.  I will be driving by my local Best Buy tomorrow anyway.

Just games, clothes, movie, ebook, and music this year.

Wolfenstein - new order and old blood are both worth the price in the sale, playing old blood right now, just as good as new order and pretty short, only played a few hours and halfway through.

Jurassic World vita - been playing it off and on for a while, its pretty good, one of the better vita lego games I think. Its split up by movie and you play the basic plot from each one. Story in each movie was good enough it made me want to watch the movies again. Each movie is divided into like 3 chapters with 3 levels per chapter, so like 12 chapters total and 36 plus levels, nothing crazy for the plat either I dont think.

Weight Loss - good job all you folks losing weight. I still wanna lose another 10 or so but have not been working on it, up a little over the past month or so, like 2-3 lbs.

Something really simple to do if you are doing any kind of exercise is to start walking some with a weighted vest. Walk a mile or two with a 10lb (or more even, one I bought goes up to 40 lb I think ) weighted vest on, helps burn more calories and strengthen core and legs.

Merry Christmas guys and gals! Good luck to all of you spending time with family. That can be challenging at times.

Got the boy an XBox One. Wish he would have been happy with a WiiU instead. CrazyD, I'm jealous you were able to get a WiiU. Lots of games to look forward to playing on it.

Stay safe on the roads if you go out. Snow, alcohol, other drivers, etc. Peace!
 
Since my parents were here last week and we did the big holiday meal thing, we decided we wanted to do something different for today.  We saw that Buca Di Beppo was open today and we both like their food.  Luckily we decided to call in the take out order pretty early since neither of us had eaten breakfast.  It was an hour wait according to them even for that when we called in at like noon. Turns out it was about an hour and a half in reality.

When my wife was there to pick it up, there were people with a reservation at 1.  It was 1:30 and they still were not seated.  The phone was constantly ringing with people begging for reservations (which they were no longer taking).  The people who were walking in were being told it would be a 2.5 hour wait.

The couple times I've been to the one in Indianapolis, it's been slammed like that.

 
Nearly every Christmas (and  Thanksgiving) we just get the prepared Holiday dinners that grocery stores have.

Now I've got to help people put Legos together, make Crayola Window clings, paint wooden animals, oooh and sort Recycling!

The only thing I want to try out that we got them for it is the Nes remix game. Other than that, they have SSB, Splatoon, skylanders and just dance. I have twilight princess preordered as well.
