Tyler--  don't you have some way to see the numbers for consoles sold.  I was hoping to see the black Fridays sales figures.  I wanted to laugh if the xbone barely won while giving away the farm--  just curious if the numbers were findable

Can't see Black Friday numbers, but Xbone outsold PS4 pretty handily in November in the US, by about 400,000 units.

 
Yay, I get to beat this wasp swarm level 13 more times before I get my platinum.  Grinding things is so much fun and a great and wonderful and enjoyable experience.

At least I get to watch old Star Treks while I do it.

thanks -- seems like you can't stop the Microsoft press releases when they win the sales for a certain month. I figured since I had not heard it must have been a huge disappointment

Yeah most of GAF was pretty surprised how understated the MS PR was. We'll see if it's the same for the December numbers which probably come out next week. More than likely Xbox won again.

I've asked this question a million times and never get the same answer. I'd really like to give it a shot but damn is it overwhelming. I can't see myself sitting through ~30 seasons of anything.

Unless it's The Wire.

about to start the god of war collection --  Never played -- is there a better order to play them-  I have the collection and Ascension --  got spoiled pretty bad so I have not been to into starting them--   gotta get to it though

Start with 1 for sure as it's definitely the most dated. I'm not sure if the two Origins games are best played before or after 2. Once you've played the first four, play 3 and then Ascension.

I liked Family Tree. It only lasted one season and there's only 8 episodes but it's one of those shows I wish had been picked up for another season.

Really?  I die five times five seconds after starting.  I love trophies because they make me feel like I'm Michael Jordan.  I wanna be Jordan playing basketball not baseball!  That trophy can fuck off        if you have gotten it --  screw you!

I'd say in order of release, but the gameplay of Chains of Olympus is more similar to GoW 1 and Ghost of Sparta is more similar to GoW 2. Chronologically, I think it goes Chains of Olympus, Ascension (maybe? Forgot about this one.) GoW 1, Ghost of Sparta, GoW 2 and GoW 3.

But yeah, just play Chains after GoW 1 since it's a bit of a step back since it was on PSP

PB Twix are amazing, but unfortunately if you want to find any in this area you need to go to Sam's and buy them in bulk. They haven't stocked them in the candy aisles here since the late 80's, early 90's which is ridiculous... fuckING RIDICULOUS.

Tell me about it. When I was a kid and my mom would drag me to the grocery store she'd let me grab a candy bar on the way out. PB Twix was always my bar of choice but then all of a sudden they quit stocking them.

I was all "What da fuck maw?" and she was like "fuck if I know son" and here we are today.
 
So I hope I didn't screw myself out of the full refund trophy in gta v. I transfer loaded my character and only 1 trophy popped, but I just kept playing online for a few hours. I got the 10rounds in survival trophy, but I was also mugged and then killed my mugger but no trophy popped. I decided to close the game and then when I reloaded the online all the trophies popped but the full refund trophy. Hopefully tomorrow one of you guys (gator/wren) can call a mugger on me and see if it pops. Thanks alot.

also I forgot to post this the other day but my son beat spec ops the line on his own. I was playing dragon age I mp when he ran in and told me he beat it. I went back there and yup the credits were scrolling on the page. spoilers
I asked him if he shot the mirror or himself and he said he shot the mirror. I'm surprised how he got past the helicopter and final battle runs, but he did it all solo cept that ch6 fall into the pit and then when I had to man the turret and you had to cover your squadmates. The material was way above his head but he said he was the blue guys and fighting the orange guys, haha. Crazy awesome for him to beat such a complex game, even on easy. oh yeah and at the end after the credits the army rolls in and he was about to shoot them all but he hesitated. He looked at me and I was like I think if you don't shoot them they will just drive you home, and he didn't shoot them and he got the go home alive trophy. He is too cool and still has morals. haha.
He has been playing awesomenauts and ratchet n clank all4one since then and those are alot more age appropriate. I can't wait til spring so I can kick him outside all day again.

 
Boring New Vegas post...

I decided to go ahead and tackle the New Vegas DLC and found out that probably around 95% of my freezing and slowdown problems are definitely caused by the number of enemies/NPCs in the area. My massive save file doesn't seem to have any affect on the game at all.

My save is now 11mb and I've played through both Honest Hearts and Dead Money with hardly any problems. Had to restart HH a couple of times when traveling to areas with a large amount of people but that was it and I made it through DM without having to restart the game once... not one bit of slowdown!

While I am excited that I can use my original save to play the DLC, sadly my opinion of the game hasn't changed after these two DLCs. Honest Hearts was okay and Dead Money was forgettable.

How the hell did you get the 10 rounds in survival trophy? Gator read a guide on it and we did what it said to hide, but we would get murdered in round 4. Did you play with three other high level players or something? I am only an 11 and he is 39 or something. Last night we said we would play again tonight. Gator made a joke that we would need you to help us and apparently he was right. We are going to let you kill everyone while we sit back and relax.

 
My mom has been having trouble with her Home Owners Association lately and they've been trying to buy up all the townhouses in the area. After all those arguments this past month my mom's car has been getting vandalized. Someone let the air out of her tires a couple weeks ago. Last week someone smashed in her driver side window. This morning someone stole her spoiler. There are a bunch of cars in the same parking area and none of them are getting messed with. It's obviously a focused, repeated attack. She's filing a police report and her insurance covered the window already. She's not sure what to do otherwise. She wants to move out but can't sell until the summer due to refinancing or some agreement a couple years ago. I'm not sure what she can really do. I don't want it to escalate to someone stealing her car. The sad thing is it's like a 2008 Ford Focus so we're not talking luxury or anything. There are nicer cars in the same parking lot.
 
fuck ing dicks.  People are assholes. 

I dont know what she can do other than call the cops like she did and ultimately move.

Maybe she can install some video cameras to watch the car and house? Pretty sure you can find some inexpensive stuff.  But she might not want to rile up the neighbors any more either.  Its hard fighting crazy people that will do anything to get their way.
