Yet another reason Gamefly works well for me.  I couldn't care less if the game is only a few hours long.  It just means I will be getting the game back to Gamefly sooner so I get my next one faster.

I predict I will play the shit out of the order this weekend and then sell it back to best buy costing me less than the cost of a movie ticket. And at 5 hours it would still be twice as long as a movie.
Yeah, only reason I'm getting it is I have the CE paid off from when it was mistakenly $60 before GCU. Hopefully the plat is reasonable since I'm sure the value on it is going to tank after the first update in value.

if everything goes smoothly I will probably knock a lot off my back log and look into gamefly again later this year. I had it a long time ago and it worked well. I assume since Tampa is a distribution center I get a lot of games shipped to me fast

I'm so glad this Eldritch guy started posting in here.  When I first came in this thread, I thought it was cool but lacked emojis.  Now that issue has been solved.

Darn kids. Back in my day we called them smileys and you had to type them out to look like sideways faces.

My flight out of Atlanta got delayed. I wonder how many people I could have gotten to stay away from me if I had downloaded monster monpiece before I left. #Rubrubrub

Holy fucking bullet sponge Batman!

R&C Going Commando:

Seriously, what's the point of a bullet sponge boss like that huge robot guy in R&C Going Commando?  He wasn't hard at all, hell he basically just had 1 attack.  What a terrible terrible boss.

Ugggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh

We had around 8 inches of snow today and pretty much no one is going into work tonight.  I basically already have my mind made up that I'm going in; it just pisses me off that 90% of the workforce that are staying home made their decision based on the fact that they assume no one else is going in and if they would just go in it wouldn't be that bad.  Buncha fucking shitbirds.

I hope everything is not iced up down there like it is way north of the city where I am. If it is like up here, I would expect some cancellations instead of just delays.

I will definitely take our crazy February 60's here over 8 inches of snow and a day off work.  Crazy to think others have had so much snow, it's been so mild here this year it's amazing.

I posted a gif of the game Besiege before. Not sure if anybody really paid attention to it or knew what it was. It's a thing where you can make siege engines to crush fortresses and towns with. Here's something else somebody did:

Here's the game page if anybody is curious about it: http://store.steampowered.com/app/346010/

Not icy here. Just raining. Flight was delayed where ever it was coming from. If the temp drops overnight though like they're expecting, I wouldn't be surprised if flights really get messed up tomorrow

Well the ps3 is back and running using the hairdryer fix. Is there anyone with ylod experience that can tell me about how long it'll probably last. Obviously dust was the issue when I opened it up, so I'm hoping with better ventilation, it'll last a little while?

Chains of Olympus is now platted, I'm Trophy Level 26, and I have just my bonus game (I Am Alive) left for 4-for-Feb until The Order hopefully arrives later this week.

All in all, a pretty productive Presidents' Day.

It was 60 here last week. Now I'm getting paid tomorrow to sit at home and play video games because there's a half inch of ice and our city is unable to deal with it. Best of both worlds.

Not long; a hairdryer doesn't get it nearly hot enough. Putting it in the oven works much better but both are just temporary fixes.

I'd give your PS3 another 2-4 weeks tops, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was going out by the end of the week. If you stick it in the oven you're looking at more like a few months. Reapplying the seals will extend that time even further.

(I'm just passing on information based on my own experience and what I read online when I was going through the same thing)
That's not necessarily a bad thing to me these days.
5 hours is a bit too short though. But I get where you are coning from. Sounds like I will finish it in a week or less probably and trade it to Best Buy anyway.

I didn't go into work because of ice and snow. Ironically, I could have gone in on Saturday but decided that I could easily finish what I needed to do on Monday.

On the bright side, I got to put in some time on my second game in 4 for Feb.

The pinball game is afoot. How long until chewy catches up with the unwashed masses?

I do only have one wizard goal left (double jackpot), so that's pretty fresh.

Well I guess the answer to that question is 20 minutes...

What temp and how long did you bake it? A couple weeks would be fine as I plan on getting something new asap.

I forgot to comment during the Order discussion earlier, but I have 2 CE's coming from that BB glitch.  Thinking maybe I'll just return the other one at this point...

I can't remember the specifics of it but you'll have to dismantle it. If you google it you'll find a lot of guides out there on it. I used a youtube video when I put it back together because I couldn't remember the exact order and placement of everything.

I can't say how much mileage you'll get out of it because i didn't push it (info I gave you earlier was what I remembered from when I was researching it for myself). I did like you did at first and used a hairdryer and it did the same thing; barely got my saves backed up before it crashed. A few months back I did the oven trick to see if I could recover a save I forgot about. It started up without a hitch and was running real smooth but I never played any games on it.
