So a HD remaster of Final Fantasy Mystic Quest is being released next month for PC. Later to Android/iOS. Wonder if we'll get it on Vita or anything. I'd actually buy that.

I dont like root beer either. It doesn't end up tasting like root beer. It is just used to help break down the meat from the carbonation.

If you are worried about it, skip the part where it says to use some of the liquid after cooking the pork. I do not do that anyway since I prefer the taste of just the BBQ sauce.

 
So I finished and platted The Order today. Way better than the trashing it received from the internet and most publications.

Well, I didn't specify "as long as they did a decent job" because I thought that didn't need to be said. I'm hoping that's a really old build, honestly. I can't come up with any reasons why it'd be released in 4:3, for example. And the beginning of the video has some absolutely terrible stutter to it.

If that's really what it'll be like when it comes out then hell no I won't buy it. Hopefully it'll be a decent HD port, though. But again I'd only buy it if it came to a real system--I'm not dealing with that touchscreen control crap.

The manor part of Dust has way too much backtracking for my tastes :/ especially going back through all those stupid necromancers. Managed to get 3 manors down tonight though, and knock out the 1000 combo trophy by pulling two necromancers together and lightning them and the zombies to death. Had way too many instances where going after only one would leave me at ~700 hits or where I'd actually get 1000 but then die immediately. Before the game could register the combo. Guess I'll try and finish up tomorrow.

This. It's not for flavoring as much as it is the acid in the pop tenderizes it while the sugar in it caramelizes on the outside. Basically it makes it cook the way you expect it to. Pop with more complex flavor with root beer and Dr. Pepper are probably used most of the time because the flavor that it does impart should be complimentary to the pork.

I only snagged one, but easily worth the $15. Picture is fantastic, its pretty thin and light as a feather, and it looks like its actually part of the system when attached (including official PSLogo). Speakers are shit. Worst I've ever heard, but you'll be wearing headset anyway so its a moot point.

At the original $300 MSRP, well.. :speaktothehand: :rofl:

He's never had a dRtg that has matched his team's mark, and his marks post injuries have gotten even worse. He's essentially Steve Nash on defense, and since he's lost explosiveness, he's no longer a force offensively.

The Bulls may honestly be better off without him if they can pick up a semi-competent PG from a non-contending team.

Anywho, I've sent you a few gifts in Diablo 3 this month, Velo. Have you played Dragon's Crown at all lately?

 
Just finished Vanquish.  Backloggery's Fortune Cookie tells me my next game is MGS: Peace Walker, but since I haven't played any of those in the series, I'll pick the first one, so Metal Gear Solid is my next one.

Diablo 3 may be significantly longer than I expected if all the acts are about the same length. I just got off streaming and still haven't gotten through Act 1. That was what, four hours tonight? Then another two or three last night.

Also I somehow managed to follow myself on Twitch tonight?

According to HLTB it's 15-25 hours depending on whether you rush or not. I played it before Reaper of Souls and it still felt quite lengthy. Some of the acts felt like they dragged on quite a bit longer than necessary, but the game has been patched a ton since then so the gameplay improvements may have improved upon that feeling.

It still has that sort of dragging feeling despite being fun. A lot of it's battle fatigue, a lot of it is that the areas are quite large, and a lot of it's that because it's the waypoints are so far between and that everything respawns and stuff that you can't just quit wherever you want or you could be replaying an hour plus worth of content all over.

It was the huge areas that did it for me. Rather than having lots of short objectives that gave you a constant sense of progress it was all about larger game chunks that didn't provide any downtime. Everything just felt like it took so long because of how large the game is.

Well fuck. Why do things always need to be difficult. Anyone know anything about this problem:

When I got my ps3, everything started up just fine with the 250 gb hdd. I decided to swap it out with my 1 tb from my old ps3. Instead of making it easy like it was with my old one, it tells me I need to manually install the system update data through a usb drive. So I downloaded it onto a flash drive and put it in. It found the update and started installing it, then did an automatic restart. Now I just get a blank screen. Can't even get to the safe mode menu. I put the 250gb back in, and boom it does the same thing!

I'll probably be talking to tech support this morning. Something I did fuck ed something up, and maybe will end up sending it back. The fat ps3 never had any of these problems!
 
I should get caught up with Castle, but the ending of the last season was fucking annoying and I know this season starts with amnesia bullshit. Amnesia is a terrible plot device and it never works in television.
