Olli Olli 2 being a PS+ freebie would be superb.

I put up a challenge to pinball nerds on twitter to beat my weekly score on Scared Stiff (#8.  Crunchewy  197,494,040), so I expect I'll be dropping precipitously in short order….

I finished the hard play through on Uncharted GA last night.  Thankfully I only missed the one collectible at the end of level 23 and like 3 on chapter 1 before giving up on that DLC helping.  It was a good game.

I only had a couple complaints.  I had a lot of issues with my character wanting to dive roll instead of going behind cover.  That is the only thing that has me slightly concerned about crushing mode.  The end bosses being like Shadow of Mordor was kind of a buzz kill as well.  I hope those do not get all crazy on crushing since it seemed like there was enough of an issue with the swipe QTEs registering for me.

Anyone have a good pulled pork recipe? Preferably one for the slow cooker so I can just cook it while I'm in class. Bought a couple pound pork shoulder and plan on having the same meal for the next few days.
One of the regulars that I use in my pulled pork rotation.

The manor part of Dust has way too much backtracking for my tastes :/ especially going back through all those stupid necromancers. Managed to get 3 manors down tonight though, and knock out the 1000 combo trophy by pulling two necromancers together and lightning them and the zombies to death. Had way too many instances where going after only one would leave me at ~700 hits or where I'd actually get 1000 but then die immediately. Before the game could register the combo. Guess I'll try and finish up tomorrow.
That was one of my few gripes with that game. Towards the end the backtracking becomes really annoying.

I dont care about Dragon Quest but I love this. Minus the slimes painted on the console.

Isn't that silver blob blocking the disc slot? I like the ones painted on the console and love the color. I have never played Dragon Quest, but always liked the look of those blobs. I suspect that the game would not be my cup of tea, though.

You won't like hearing this, but I remember the end bosses being really difficulty/annoying on Crushing.

No, the slot is visible in the indentation between the two "halves" on the PS4 on the left side, like it always is. You can see it in that image if you look closely.

Yes the rolling instead of sticking to cover sucks. It doesnt get better in crushing but crushing is still really easy. I hated the QTEs too and you only get one miss on crushing but surprisingly it wasnt that bad for me. I beat them both pretty quickly on crushing. Quicker than on hard. Practice makes perfect I guess.

No, from what I recall when Tyler brought this one up before, it plugs into one of the USB slots and glows.

I was trying to remember why I had trouble with them, but you mailed it:

The swipe QTEs didn't always register for me for some reason.

It may be my imagination, but it seemed to work better once I made sure I was not touching the rear touch screen at all. I am not sure if the touch handling was confused when I was touching the back or not, but it sure as hell seemed like it was.

For me it seemed to register better if you concentrated on starting as far over to the right or left as possible then swiping quickly. If I tried to baby it and go slow it seemed to fuck up more and not register. Same with starting closer to the middle of the screen.

I think what made it really annoying for me was that it registered the input as "wrong" if I didn't start at the right place. I would have preferred it to be a timed-input kind of thing where incorrectly swipes just didn't register rather than killed you outright.

It actually is that way. A couple of times I accidentally tapped the screen while moving my finger from one side to the other to do the swipe. A red arrow popped up at first and then went to green after I did the swipe the right way.

Orioles season tickets (well, just a 13-game plan) acquired. Maybe. I got confirmation but they aren't showing up in my ticket inventory. Hmm. In any case, exciting! I know we all agree that baseball is the best sport!

After this Vita sale, I'm thinking it's about time to upgrade my memory card.  Probably will just jump to the 64GB card.  I saw one on Amazon for $89, is that the best price out there?

"Multiplayer March", where you pick one or more games with annoying multiplayer trophies to grind out all of them.

Binary Domain should be off-limits. 50+ hours just for the multiplayer?!

#aintnobodygottimefordat
I'll add Binary Domain to the session too lol. It is wayyy more than 50 hours as if you mess up on one of the horde maps, it is another 4 hours every time depending on where you died.

I still need one more map for the plat but I'll probably never get it.

And in the meantime building up a reason to buy a PS4.

Diablo 3 may be significantly longer than I expected if all the acts are about the same length. I just got off streaming and still haven't gotten through Act 1. That was what, four hours tonight? Then another two or three last night.

Also I somehow managed to follow myself on Twitch tonight?
Told you it was long and boring.

Well this isn't good-- I got an email this morning saying my Big Hero 6 Steelbook was unavailable for pickup at my store but I could update the delivery method to have it shipped. Trying to do that and everytime I select shipping I get a "your cart is empty" message :(.

Games with Gold for March is supposedly Rayman Legends (X1), Bioshock INfinite, and Tomb Raider (360) and supposedly they're getting 6 games in April.  Pretty decent month if true, though we got INfinite and Tomb Raider over a year ago already.

Yikes, sorry to hear that. Last night, my dad happened to pass by the Target I had selected for store pickup and got the steelbook without any issues.

Yeah, the campaign is pretty drawn out in Diablo. The best of the game happens after you beat it though. It goes much faster if you're not playing alone.

    If it weren't for the knowledge that Uncharted, Halo, and Tomb Raider come out this year... this is going to be hard to beat as GOTY
I think with those all being console exclusives it might help Batman in the GOTY department. I will probably like Uncharted more though. At least I have in the past. Both are great games though and I can wait.

If Arkham Knight is just more of the same but with prettier graphics and the Batmobile will reviewers bash it as much as they did The Order?
Probably not. Hopefully it is longer then 6 or 7 hours though. Plus the Batman games had some online challenges and stuff which adds a bit of replay value to them.
