Well, it's not like she's full-time. She comes every 2 weeks to do the shit I don't want to do. I'm usually gone picking up the kid from preschool. This happened last week (figured I would share it now since it's apparently #MasturbationMonday in the PSNOT), and there was no school that day so she stayed at her mom's.

I went to IKEA over the weekend to get a bookcase, luckily there was a TRU nearby and thanks to Vig I knew that the Zelda Link Between Worlds guide was 2 cents. Grabbed a couple :) Woot! Woot! Miss those BB penny guides!

Played through and loved SR2, then picked up the the full package version of 3 a few years later and lost interest pretty fast. Based on that I don't plan on picking up 4. Full package is $16 on amazon so depending on the DLC sale prices they might just be better off getting the disc version.

Do I want to pay $40 to take my son to Minneapolis Comic Con?  I wouldn't mind attending the Jay (of Jay & Silent Bob) or Gus (from Breaking Bad) panel, but those probably won't be appropriate for a 7 year old.

Depending on the time of day, treat it like a break for him? Sit near the back and bring headphones and vita/ds for him to play while you listen?

I have the SR4 base on my PS3 (Well on disc). I think it was $8 or less. Figured if I could get the Relected / Gat version on PS4 for a decent price I would. But I doubt it will be anywhere near close to what I would be willing to pay on sale next week.

Probably won't bother upgrading. I played through over a long weekend on 360 but raced through it. Wouldn't mind taking a bit more time on this play through.

Excellent idea, but I am not sure any kind of game or headphones can block out the assault of f-bombs launched by Jay. It would probably work for Gus though.

It was probably pretty funny to watch, too. I was doing some level 11/12ish missions and we were getting slaughtered. Pretty consistently got one objective so that's something.

6 bottles (750 ml) Wittekerke White Ale for $2.99 each.

1 Chimay Grande Reserve Blue

1 Westmalle Tripel Trappist

1 New Belgium Trippel Ale

1 North Coast PranQster Ale

1 Rochefort 8 Trappist Ale

1 La Trappe Quadrupel

That is a $30 six pack but all are supposed "world class" beers except maybe the New Belgium.

You have a broken definition of the word problem. Once you share a cellar with a friend that has over 700 bottles in it, maybe it is a problem.

There is not a bad beer in that entire list. Three bucks for a 750 of a Belgian beer you like that much is a steal. Usually the large format bottles cost more than the equivalent per ounce price of a 6 pack for some unknown reason.

ETA: I just saw your edit. The Pranqster is probably the lowest rated one I would think. Still a pretty good beer though.

Yeah the Witt is basically a higher ABV Blue Moon, which I love. $2.99 is such a steal I was tempted to clear out there stock. I could have bought the other 6 they had left but decided not too. The Pranqster is rated higher than the New Belgium on beeradvocate right now.

I agree with this (well, I haven't seen his Mission Impossible), but I have to agree that the trailer for this one looks kind of iffy. I will wait on reviews.

why did the fft advance games suck so much in comparison? I've never been able to figure that out. It seems like they should be great, but I didn't like them at all.

i didn't get a sense of seriousness from the games at all. story wasn't there, music was so light and cheery, and the characters looked kind of chibi even though they kind of weren't. the law system didn't really help matters any either.

 
I just learned the following from the helldivers trophy guide on psnp:
- there's random 2x xp events?
- regional capital attack/defend missions are only available when a region is about to change control and are timed? fuck, I'll probably never ever see those given my dumbass waking hours.
