Bloodrayne: Betrayal is like the older school 2D, linear Castlevania games, just not as well polished but the combat system is much more robust than them, the controls are a little loose though nothing insurmountable. It also has some pretty rare trophies that are (comparatively) easy to get and 2 REALLY rare trophies that are really hard to get (I didn't even try for them). If you're not frustrated by hard games then I'd say its worth $2.

Here's my review:

wow tons of good stuff. i already have most tho.

but Bayonetta for $8, Awesomenauts assemble for $2. you guys should jump on those if you havn't.
I have Awesonauts Assemble from some past sale, but have not tried it yet. I didn't realize anybody else had it. If we could get a team together that would be cool!

Just because I'm on a laptop and can embed videos, I thought I'd remind everyone about Tembo, the badass elephant.

When the list was first taking shape I didn't think I would buy anything but now that the whole sale is up there is a ton of stuff I'm considering. fucking Sony.

Max payne 3 for 4 bucks.

Dante inferno for 3

Lego pirates 5

Spec ops the line 5.10

Getting dante for sure, might grab the others, max payne mp was pretty fun when it first came out, but not sure if its still active really

I think I already have anything I would want in this sale so I'll just save my virtual bucks for another 99 cent sale.

I'm going to look at a couple games but I own most of the games.

If you don't have SPELUNKER HD pick it up. The Ultimate edition is a great deal.

Blood of the Werewolf looks like something in the same vein as Bloodrayne: Betrayal so I'll probably pick that up. A review of the xbox 360 version said they rebalanced the difficulty from the original PC version so it increases more gradually (though still difficult) and expanded the ending. When exposed to the light of the moon you are in werewolf form with powerful melee and a double jump, but as soon as you duck under a rooftop you are back in human form but can attack with ranged weapons.

yeah, i'm gonna get it. i had a blast on 360 with it, i'm sure i will again here. i wish they would have put the dlc on sale too
Ok I'll grab it then.

Gonna grab Lego Pirates for the boy as well.

Also thinking about Dante's Inferno (poor man's GoW right?), BloodRayne, Werewolf, & Shank 2.

As identified in one of the other threads, Ratch & Clank: Into the Nexus is also on sale but not listed with the other games $6.

It's the most recently released game and was a...I guess you'd call it a "top tier" budget title as it is about 2/3rds the length of a normal R&C game, but released originally around $30-40. So if you'd like to check out one of the games in the series with the more modern controls that began with Crack in Time (older games you strafe with the L and R buttons instead of moving with dual sticks) this one isn't as long and is still enjoyable.

edit: It also comes with the bridge downloadable game "Quest for Booty" which is set between Tools of Destruction & Crack in Time. It's inclusion is probably because one of the characters in it is also in Into The Nexus. Quest for Booty is not as good, has no trophies, and I think was about 4 or 5 hours long.

Remind me - toejam and earl is awful or no?
i won the toejam and earl speed run in here. I loved it. 100% and co op the whole thing with my girl in a few hours.

work talk

also nerdy chic wants to come over again tonite. she also said she favors bdsm stuff. any suggestions? im pretty lame routine now and usually just let girls do flashes/spanks til im done playing vid games then we do tip to keep going double hj bjs til we have over 2000 viewers then try to do a facial/fuck ticket show. im trying to be more diversified and might do some cuffs/blindfolds or something later? she loves slaps/rough/hair pulled stuff too so maybe ill toss that on a slot machine app. idk. i hate talking work stuff but any suggestions would be awesome. im kinda lazy lately.

Def get Shank and DI for that beat em up and poor man's God of War clone itch. The others are good too if your into masochism.

PS4 outsold X1 by like 90K last month in case anyone was wondering and it wasn't already mentioned. Bloodborne was the 2nd best selling game of the month in the US, did about 300K units I think.

God, customers have such a Sony bias. I wish they would just own up to it.

Only took me four tries, but the dumb QTE boss fight at the end of Uncharted: GA is done as well as my Hard playthrough.

So I guess #AA?

Crushing difficulty play will be much more enjoyable not having to worry about all those collectables.

Not sure why people say it's a shitty game. It was quite good.
