Doh! I was looking at the skullgirls encore character beowulf, and i got squiqly and bigband for free when they released. but somehow last sept i missed Eliza some free Egyptian chic. No trophies or anything, but now it is $5 and that's not gonna happen. I hate limited time free stuff cuz I always miss it somehow.

 
I haven't been around in a while (hellish work season), but I'm sure you all have already talked about how awesome Daredevil is on Netflix?  What a surprisingly good show.  I still have 5 more to watch and am trying not to just binge them all, but I haven't been too successful.

for what it's worth the ps4/vita version will have all the dlc, so you can always pick that up someday and have yourself a complete roster. The only reason they made it temporarily free was to get it to the crowdfunders (without the hassle of generating a bajillion redemption codes for all the platforms I guess).

yeah i told my girl i already got the game free cuz i had the original skullgirls. so i really can't complain there. i just wish it auto update or would tell me or something like the ps4 kinda does. on ps3 it's kinda hit or miss with that stuff. i guess same with ps4, but still...

and yeah life of brian is awesome

I liked it, I just lost interest since I played it right after the main game. There aren't many open-world, zombie, westerns so it's pretty unique. It's set right before the ending of the main game and serves as an alternate history. What would have happened if a zombie outbreak struck just before the end of the main game.

 
I never played the undead nightmare thing but I 100%d the main game on 360 gleefully. I can't bring myself to buy that standalone expansion though. Maybe I'll watch it on youtube and hope that I don't get convinced to buy it.

Same with awesomenauts, I played it a bit on ps3, but I know I won't get around to putting time in to it so even for 2.50 I'm skipping that.

I am picking up contra ss though. That's pure digital hoarding. It's one of the two ps2 games I miss being able to play even if I never could get very far in it.

No can do. I went to the game, but didn't get one. I was with my dad and kid, and didn't want to search all over for it. I just got a deluxe hotdog and cheese curds...lame. Next game I will for sure find them. I do have a sweet Robbie Deer bobblehead though!
 
Man, I could go for a Roy Rogers Bacon Cheeseburger with the fixins bar.  Guess whenever I'm back in CT, I'll have to do a mini road trip to the one near Poughkeepsie.

There is a Roy Rogers near Poughkeepsie? I am head that way in a few but haven't seen a Roy Rogers anywhere near here.

If you went to the trouble to 100% the main game I bet you would enjoy undead nightmare then. They aren't Romero Zombies, they have a more supernatural/occult component so they are vulnerable to holy weapons like fire and holy water. Like L4D, there are an abundance of common zombies, but also the occasional specialty types.

I enjoyed the main game and story much better and got 100%. After that I was kind of worn out with the whole zombie thing. Undead is still a fun game. I need to finish that campaign since I quit after getting to Mexico.
 
Plat down for type-0. I still don't have any idea what the story was in that game, but it was fun.  Machina was lame and whiny.

A hearty fuck You goes out to Magrunner for not giving me my platinum because apparently my save file roulette had a save where I died, even though I took great care to not save those. Not sure I have it in me to do those last 9 levels again.

welcome to the club. I didn't have a save issue. I just quit the game cause it bored me more than expendables and I didn't want to deal with the deaths.

Yeah I'm not liking the game much either. Last section of levels aren't very fun. But it's hard to leave the game completely with just one trophy left for a plat.

I think I'm going to go the Vig route and knock out one of the Heavy Fire games tonight to cleanse my palette before i go back.

Same thing happened to me. I definitely did not have a save where I died in those parts, but it still did not pop. It seemed to go by much faster the second time around, but still it is really really frustrating.

I liked the game quite a bit until act 3. The puzzle focus was fun. The let's try to make this an action game at the end was stupid. Adding that no death trophy added nothing but frustration. It should have just been a clear the final boss without dying instead of the entire act.

Did you just do level select on 31 and go from there when you did it the second time?

Also, did you just use Online Storage for your save back ups? That's what I did and it has me questioning if I did it all correctly.

I believe that was what I did.

I used a USB stick instead. It was much faster that way it seemed.

I know you said cheaper, but if you have any interest in an Apple TV that might be a good option. From what I understand, it supports Air Play from an iPad natively. Then there is no wires to hook up when you want to use it. This is coming from the person that does not like Apple products, but that is a killer feature.

I use a similar Samsung feature for my phones and tablets to my TVs since they are all Samsung.

Nah, I don't want to buy an Apple TV, we have enough streaming devices. This is solely to be able to use the HBO Now app on my iPad and have it on my TV.
 
I really need to figure out what to start next, I don't have much left in Diablo 3. Only PS4 games in my backlog that aren't from PS+ now are Lego Hobbit and Metro Redux.

Do you have a laptop with hdmi out? You can use HBO now through the browser.

I've given up on streaming devices and apps since I know a pc will run anything I throw at it.

Ah ok. That is closer (sort of) to Middletown and is on the other side of the Hudson River. I don't get over that way too much anymore since my nehpew is driving. I used to pick him up just outside of Middletown off of 17. Now he comes over here every other month or so. There used to be a Roy Rodgers in Yonkers near the Raceway (now a casino too). But it closed years ago. I think its a Burger King now.

If I am over that way though I might look them up. There is an Arby's over that way but much closer to me too part of a Pilot truck stop just off of 84. Sometimes I will grab a roast beef sandwich there.

Ya, I've been cutting carbs the past two weeks and now my hubby said he wants to do it as well.

I'm hoping it's a good recipe, I might try to modify it a bit, but I bought some stuff I needed to try and make it :)
