Didn't that originally release like 2-3 years ago? Seems odd to call that a GOTY edition.

EDIT: Nevermind I was thinking this was that Ubisoft side scroller with the color change mechanic similar to Guacamelee, but with native imagery. Not that mobile game I have but never played.
Yeah, I forgot for a split-second that this wasn't Outland when I first saw the title.

If I already have a PSP and Vita, am I going to have to deactivate one of them in order to register the PSTV for games or is that not applicable with the PSTV?

Works with ds4 too fyi, wording makes it sound like only ds3 works on it.

Rest of your post is really valid though, needing a mem card is the main thing, but those have gotten cheaper and depending on needs, 8gb is pretty decent to start with, already had 8gb card laying around when I bought mine and thats what I have in it currently.
Works with DS4 too, but I seemed to think for some reason you needed the DS3 to do the non-remote play stuff but it seems that's not the case now that I look it up.

I had never heard of Jem and the Holograms.
How is this even possible? You were alive during the 80s right? And not living in a secret cult compound?
I didn't hear about Jem until a segment on VH1's I Love the 80's mentioned it.

Also, found this on Youtube:

Anyone else remember the USA Cartoon Express? I use to watch Wacky Races on there.

this Adam Sandler tribute song is actually pretty good and funny:

Nice. Well I sure will miss David Letterman.

"There is no off position on the genius switch".

Sorry all, they made me work a little this morning at work...what did I miss? I have a Playstation TV (bought the bundle) that's unplugged on my desk at home and another $40 stand alone sealed as well. Maybe I should buy some more at $40 and make a cool fort.

First album on sound shapes death mode done.

Shit is crazy. I think its a TON of luck in involved in where the pieces are placed, but definitely some skill too. I like it so far though even if they are taking longer than Id like to beat.

More fun than the campaign mode for sure, that was pretty blah.

This should explain everything, basically Hanna Montana's premise was "inspired" by it with all the very 80's bits stripped out of it.

They of course had a doppelganger nemesis group called the Misfits

Wait til you get to the levels that are like the pic from your trophy card. Be prepared to have fun with those.

To some who participated in the Sonic boosting session yesterday, you may have missed the 3rd online trophy, Newtron
http://psnprofiles.com/trophy/1737-Sonic-and-All-Stars-Racing-Transformed/21-Newtron

All you have to do to get it, is get in a matchmaking game with at least one other person and manually select random from the character select page. You can either pair up with someone else who missed it, try and join the next group going for Team Sonic, or try joining matchmaking in early evening / late afternoon and there is usually someone playing.
I missed this trophy and can play sometime tonight if anyone else wants to. Not sure what time since I'm running errands.

fuck me. Event horizon #1, I cant even get like 2 much less 19.

Two dudes shooting lazers with red stuff all around.
If you keep getting frustrated on a death mode level, skip it and come back to it later. Note placement is all luck so you'll get a good set eventually. Just don't die on that good note run.

So cheesy:

sigh Nintendo sigh

It must be nice to have a job where you can close your eyes and cover your ears to everything in the outside world and still have a job when your company relies on sales. Get a fuck ing clue Nintendo.

I said I wouldnt post about the woman at work again until I got laid, but bad news (I think) today.  I saw her waiting outside the elevator so I started talking to her a bit.  Then the two women she was waiting for came up so she started walking off with them.  I was going the other way but it sounded like one of the other women was telling her about a bible study group and it sounded like she had just joined this bible group.  ugh...hopefully she doesnt really follow what is taught in the bible and only likes to read it right?

IMO, Nintendo "won" E3 last year. Sure their press conference wasn't the best of that week (I'd give that to Sony) and their last live conference was bad, but Nintendo continued releasing news throughout the day and the week instead of cramming everything at once.

I prefer that than just seeing footage of games we already heard about from the day before.

For the death mode levels, usually 45 seconds or so if you complete them on the first try. That won't happen often though.

The story mode part was relatively short. Hour or 2 if memory serves. You have to do it to unlock death mode.
So each run of each death mode level is about a minute then? I dont care if it takes multiple tries, I am more concerned with how long a level is each time. A game where you have to retry a 5 minute level over and over is a lot harder/frustrating than a game where each level is a minute.

Also, is it quick to restart each level when you die etc? Or is there a lot of loading?

Loads are pretty quick. I played some levels over 100 times, well that's what it felt like.

Give or take, yes. There are a couple that are slightly longer but I would expect the average is around a minute.

I do not recall any long loading times. I think it is pretty immediate.

I didn't get a chance to try Splatoon myself, but I watched my kid play it and it looked like a blast. Best of all he's going to buy it with his money, so I don't have to pay for it! Woohoo! We should have a PSNOT Splatoon night once it's out. Of course we will also have to run our PS4s so we can voice chat because Nintendo.

I'd be down for a Splatoon night, probably going to pick it up on launch. Kind of annoying that they didn't implement any kind of voice chat, but I can understand why. An opt-in rather than opt-out chat option would have been nice at least.

The death levels in sound shapes are all short, the timer is like 30-45 seconds at the most.

It may take you 20 minutes to beat a level but each attempt is not every long and there is NO loading after you die. When you die you hit x to start it again and its immediate.

I would die on purpose a lot on some of them so far to get the first note thing to be in a good spot and then go from there. The levels so far are kinda varied with what you have to do to beat it so each one is a new challenge to master.

The beat school shit is dumb, just use a guide as it gives you the answers, beating all those took me like 30 mins to 1 hour as there is a fuck ton of them with all the DLC and they take a min or two to solve to get all the note things in the right spots.

Also dont forget to cloud sync after you either beat something or before you are done with it for the time, makes it easy to pick right up where you left off on another system if swapping from vita to ps4/ps3. So far I did all the other stuff on ps4 and the death levels on vita, controls on vita are tighter for those I think.

I completed the Death mode levels on the Vita as the controls felt perfect.
