I think I'm going to start alternating between short and long games. I've not been doing that lately and focusing instead on shorter stuff most of the time. If I keep that up I'll have long games and nothing else.

There is something so unsettling about tranqing enemies and then shooting them in the head once they are down in Crysis (since none of the early guns have zoom scopes to pull off reliable mid-range head shots). They still spaz out as if they are awake when you kill them.
That sounds like what happens if you do the same in MGS2.

GameStop did get us a WiiU Gamecube controller adapter. Arrived today. So, yeah, if you want one, call Gamestop and when they tell you they don't have any, ask them to try ordering it anyway.
Would that work even though their website shows it's unavailable for purchase?

You guys eat trash pizza.

Sorry about the bad news Pharm. Stories like that rip me up ever since I had a kid. Sending good vibes your way.

Why are my PSN download speeds so schizophrenic?  One minute I'll be downloading at ~3MB per second and then it will drop down to .1MB per second.  So fucking annoying.  Sometimes it stays stuck at those slow speeds for long periods of time.

I'm fully wired in and just reset my router/modem and PS4 connection.  Such bullshit.  It was trying to tell me 2 to 3 hours to download Surgeon Simulator which isn't much more than 1 gig.

must be that great Utah air

I haven't beaten the first episode yet, but Tales from the Borderlands definitely continues Telltale's trend of excellence. Characters are interesting and it's pretty funny. Best of all, load times are quick and I haven't had a single performance issue (on PS4). I'm very stoked for Game of Thrones.

Not only did the website show it as unavailable, but when I called they said it was unavailable. I told them the support guy said they had some so they tried putting an order in anyway and obviously it worked.

I've always had weird download issues with Playstation consoles. Vita is the worst, but I've had occasional issues with PS4 and PS3
Ya, I don't get it either, my older fat model PS3 which I have upstairs consistently downloads at 1/2 speed or slower than my slim which I have on the main floor. They are both about the same distance from the router.

That's good to know. I'm not huge into Borderlands, so I'll be content waiting for the eventual cheap season pass. GoT, I may get Day 1.

Completely agree. I had zero issues on the PS3, and that has been a shitstorm of issues previously with some of their older games.

hmm I really don't need anymore systems but a red 2ds with Pokemon Y for $70 is calling my name on Craigslist.

Also that pizza was delicious.  Added a few more cheeses from my fridge and it was perfect.

I wasn't psyched at all for Borderlands for the same reason as you. But if you like the other TT series, trust me, you will like their take on Borderlands.

Holy shit, I posted and didn't have to F5 afterwards. CAG 4.0 shit right here fellas.

It's probably because in the interim enough people have posted to push your post to the proximate page. That's the only time it properly reloads the page for me.
Wait, is there a synonym for next that begins with P? There is, now I've gone full tongue twister.

guardian_owl, what are your thoughts on this season of Sleepy Hollow? I think it sucks. They're constantly talking down to the audience by explaining everything through the characters making dumb realizations out loud and the stories have taken a huge dive. Pretty disappointing.

Grimm looks like they might be bringing back Zombie Nick finally. Not sure why they dropped that ball halfway through last season. I thought they'd forgotten about it.

Newsroom season 3 sucks ass just like season 2 did. Only 2 episodes left of the series.

I need new shows to watch. Nothing is all that great so far this season.  :whistle2:k

I've still liking Sleepy Hollow, I don't think they've integrated either of the two new characters very well (the new police chief and blonde Nathan Drake), but I like that the two horseman on Earth aren't just complete mustache twirling villains. I am endlessly amused by the Crane's weekly complaints about some aspect of modern living and the strange ways they tie the story to historical objects or figures.

And yes, Newsroom S2 sucked pretty hard.

My current slate is

Sun: Brooklyn 99, and various Sunday cable shows when they air on TNT and AMC

Mon: Sleepy Hollow, Castle

Tue: Flash, Agents of Shield, Supernatural

Wed: Arrow, the 100 (surprisingly really good sci-fi survival)

Thu: White Collar

Fri: Whose Line, Grimm, and Z nation (which is actually pretty campy, dark, and funny)

I haven't heard of half of those shows. It sounds exhausting to keep up with that many. I prefer a simple approach. Right now, mine is:

Sun: NFL

Mon: NFL

Tues: NFL Network

Wed: Keeping up with the Kardashians

Thurs: NFL

Fri: NFL Network

Sat: College Football

I watch about half of those. I'll look into the others.

I was going to start up Korra but it turns out it's not on Netflix. Guess I'll have to download it.
