Whoa. MLB 15 The Show Vita preorder on Amazon for $20. Only a digital code option is available for Vita, so maybe there won't be a cart this year.
I just preordered it. I have 12 or 13 that I never played. Not sure I will keep this preorder or not though. If it doesn't fit on a 16gb I will skip it for sure.

Not sure where people here farm glimmer, but I use exclusion zone on Mars. I pop some network IDs and go to work on the cabal dudes with yellow life bars (lvl 26s?). Decent but still pretty boring. Not sure if there's somewhere better but please share if there is.
Thanks for the tip. I ran that mission 5 or 6 times and got enough glimmer to trade in my sunbreakers. Last run there was a public event (defend warsat). Two level 30 guys were there and NOT standing in the circle too much. Tons of stuff kept spawning including a couple of those hydras. Got a ton of glimmer doing that public event. It was right before you kill the guy to get the network key.

i had to quit though. I couldn't run it again. As you said it is pretty boring. Might try to earn enough for one more upgrade tomorrow.

All I have left is the final dungeon on my first playthrough of Persona 4 Golden. Not really sure if I'm going to do the second playthrough even though pretty much the only thing I would have to do is read all the books, finish the compendium, and fight The Reaper/Margaret and maybe Hardcore Risette Fan if I don't get it (though I'll probably just grind it out before finishing the game for the first time)

Fun game, but it drags like crazy and I don't really like it nearly as much as I liked Persona 3

Looks like Resogun PS3/Vita have a shared list, but it is separate from the PS4 list.  Sweet, reason for me to replay it on Vita!

Fat Princess Piece of Cake finally coming to Vita (where the fuck is that Sackboy game?!??!?)

King Oddball PS3 Separate Trophy list (why do dinky dumbass mobile games like this get 3 separate trophy lists when nobody will ever want to replay them when quality cross-console games have to deal with shared lists.  fuck!)

No i have it on Steam and Android, thanks though.  I just want to earn some fucking trophies in it.  And also play it witha  real controller.

Thanks though.

Started up Burnout Paradise.  Got a bunch of trophies already.  Cant sync them because the fuck ing system wont download whatever new system update is out.  fuck!

People are stupid. I bought that BestBuy Guardians of the Galaxy steelbook and watched it tonight. Then I went to redeem my digital movie. It was really easy to setup. For linking my Vudu account I also got a free copy of Wreck-It Ralph. And it remembered my Disney Movie Rewards redemption of Up and Monsters Inc. from awhile back. Now I have 4 movies added to my digital library.

I went to download the Disney Movies Anywhere app on the Google Play store and most of the reviews are about how the movies aren't free. People are complaining that you have to pay for movies. No shit. It's an app to watch the Disney/Pixar/Marvel movies with digital copies that you've purchased.

This Hardcore Risette Fan trophy might be enough to make me abandon the plat for Persona 4. It would be so much better if there was a way to check in game how many lines you have

I got it a little before the end, but I read there's like 4 or so lines with the final boss that a lot of people get it after, so good luck!

Edit: nm, sounds like you got it, because yes, complaining here does always work!

New Vegas is trolling the fuck out of me.

At this point, that I continue on is no longer an issue of determination... it's pure insanity.
Now that I've gone full-on Sony this gen, sometimes I regret that I played all my multiplats on 360 last gen. Then I remember games like New Vegas that played great on that system and I regret nothing.

I guess I could have played stuff like that on a PC, but that seems like too much work.

You can read what happens in Spectre here. There trying to fix the ending tho, seems like just another Bond movie which are all the same.

Played that JUJU game, its a Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze rip off but its pretty good. Made by the guys who did Shadow Warrior. Graphics look nice but its not on ps4 but on ps3. Would look so much better on ps4

Technical issues or gameplay issues?

Hearing all the bad stuff about the Fallout games on PS3 is why Fallout 3 GOTY is one of the few 360 games I've kept. I plan on getting to it someday, as well as NV, but I wish it worked as well on PS3.

Alright, finished my first playthrough of Person 4 with the true ending. And since i got that stupid Risette trophy I can just speed through my second run on the easiest difficulty and finish all those damn books.

I like how on my friends list i got like 5 people named Cloud or Cloud Squall. So original!

I thought for sure I would be playing GTA 5 today.  Gamefly sent the game on the 8th and I assumed it would make it here by Friday.  Nope.  Turns out they sent it from Pittsburgh instead of Tampa so now I am just hoping it comes in the mail today.  Of course, our mail does not get here until like 6pm.

as someone who got the plat in fallout 3 (and skyrim for that matter) I think the issues are rather overblown, sure they play slightly better on the 360 but I still played the fuck out of the games on both consoles

edit - but not fallout new vegas because fuck that game

Burnout Paradise is officially done now.  It really was a great game.  I am glad you guys talked me into getting it.  I just wish I had not saved the motorcycle license and party modes for last.  They were the 2 things that were kind of boring to me.

If there are still people that need the 8 man stuff, I should be able to help if you get enough other people coordinated to help.

Now just to figure out what else I want to play today.  If anyone wants to play Resogun coop let me know.  Otherwise, I may just knock out some more of the small PSN games from the backlog.

I still have to get the Hardcore Risette Fan trophy--I think I missed out on a few "these enemies are strong" lines in my first playthrough due to being overleveled for most of the game--but hopefully the ones I got in my first run carry over to the second. With the ability to adjust the amount of experience gained plus the strength of the enemies in NG+, I should be able to easily get those lines.

Has anyone played all the different versions of Unfinished Swan?  If it is as good as people claim, I won't mind playing it a couple times for the trophies.  However, I thought that I would play through one time on the console were it is best played first.  Is that PS4 due to graphics or does the move add something worthwhile on the PS3 version?

Crysis plat.

2238295_o.gif

Graphics, setting, etc. is fine, but Crysis just isn't that fun to play for long stretches.

The first third of the game is a lot of jungle for enemies to hide in, so you spend much of the time inching along while cloaked, prone, decloak to recharge, recloak and then move forward. In retrospect I probably should have just sprinted until I could see where the enemies were, then restart at the last checkpoint and sprint until just before where the enemies are located, but that breaks immersion so much. The game would have been a lot more fun if cloak burned through energy 1/2 as fast while moving.

Then in the middle act the jungle becomes less prevalent as you spend a lot of your time fighting on large military bases and ports and you get to drive a tank. With no jungle to obscure in those areas it becomes less about finding the enemy and more about stalking the enemy and trying to take them out one at a time without the others noticing. I was beginning to enjoy it more.

Then in the final act the scenery and enemy type radically changes. You face nothing but nimble, quick, flying enemies. As soon as you land a shot on them, they quickly dodge so rapid fire weapons aren't very effective (what most of your arsenal is made of). Many many times they would come from a high altitude and perch fight above me and start firing so I would spend so much time looking around trying to figure out where they were shooting me from before they change positions. They are not fun at all to fight and they are all you have to fight for the last four chapters. This act also features an escort mission and a maze of "caves." :wall:

It is an easy (nor time consuming) plat though, there is a difficulty trophy but the highest difficulty is unlocked from the start and isn't that hard so you can do it mostly all in one playthrough. The rest of the trophies are story related; for completing all the optional, secondary objectives; for killing X number of certain enemy types; and for killing in different ways. If you miss any, there is a chapter select where you can get then. The only trophy I had to clean up was the "kill 10 enemies with thrown objects" trophy since you are fairly fragile in a straight up fire fight and objects often take more than one throw to kill them.

I still have to get the Hardcore Risette Fan trophy--I think I missed out on a few "these enemies are strong" lines in my first playthrough due to being overleveled for most of the game--but hopefully the ones I got in my first run carry over to the second. The lines do not carry over, you have to get all of them in a single play through. I can confirm, because I know I was pretty close on my first run, and on my NG+ run I have been using a completely different party, and I still do not have it.

Don't forget about the missable books from the strength social link. I missed one of them on my first play through.

CAG has found a new way to break, I clicked "what's new" and it is says there are 286 pages of threads with new posts in them, on the plus side, that is 2 times in a row I haven't had to refresh the page manually after posting.

Don't know about differences in platforms, I've only played it on the PS3 with a controller and it ran fine on that. Check your expectations though, it's ok, I don't understand the high praise it has received.

I'd still rather have a SMT game. More combat & fusions. Less story. Wish that Persona Q dungeon crawler on :3ds: would make it over to Vita.

(I have a 3ds, but really dont care for playing it compared to my vita. I don't like the 3d effects and it's way to prone to kids pressing the home button and erasing my paused games)

That is exactly what I didn't want to hear. :headache:

Speaking of Persona games, I really need to get back to playing Persona 3. I was playing it almost every day on the PS2 shortly after I bought it. My sister was watching me play it at the time, so I couldn't advance the story if she wasn't there. At one point, she got tired of watching it and I never got back to it (already had a 360 and PS3).

I even bought a copy on the PS3 one of the times it went on sale to motivate me to play it.

So what snowy / Christmas-time set games are there for PS3? I was flipping through my list of disc and PSN games and I didn't see any that jumped out at me. I guess I could always go back and do my Crushing playthrough of UC2.

After failing the Cinderella Four mission in DW Gundam again (and getting bored with the Ultimate mode) i wanted to start something new.

Too lazy to get off the couch to grab my physical copy of Bioshock Infinite. Started  Remember Me instead.

Also, what's the deal with Lego Marvel Vita only giving you one life to complete these short little levels?

Since I was only 8 trophies away from 14k when I finished Burnout this morning, and I wanted to knock some PSN games off the backlog I did not think I would be able to pick much of anything worthwhile for that milestone one.  Then I looked at the VF2 list and I knew exactly the one I should pick.

I think that works well.

Costume Quest DLC is Xmas themed. And I think Barman Arkham Origins takes place on Xmas Eve. And ummm....angry birds trilogy has Seasons levels?

Into the Nexus has a Christmas themed gun that's pretty cool. Saints row iv has Christmas DLC. There's always Skyrim too, but I assume Owl would play that on PC.
