I'm going to go ahead and suggest that we give Therm the Snakey treatment since the bullshit has gone on long enough and we're clearly tired of it. At least they'll be able to talk to each other.

I like how all the ads for the Fire TV Stick fail to show the power cord and thus imply none is needed. Shady.
Yeah they're really sly about that. And I can't believe it can't just be powered by USB. Must be saving that for the 2.0 version.

And thanks everyone. I'll try and reinstall the Netflix app. Hell, maybe I'll reformat the whole stick and start over. Because so far it has sucked.

I'm sorry guys... him going on about the poll being broken... that was enough. I am going to bed now though. Sorry if I left you with any fallout. I'll clean up what I can when I get back.

Clean it up or make it worse, one or the other...

I liked the original Trine a lot, it was one of my first Platinums.  The sequel is way too long and bloated, but I think I'd like to play through the original again. (assuming it has a new trophy list, which I'd think it would)

I think my profile is broken... It won't update and hasn't been able to since last Thursday... I have tried work computer, phone, and home computer and it's the same thing
Try contacting the site admin via message, he seems to have gotten it fixed for people in the past based on google searches. It also stuck for me on "generating trophy card" when I tried to update yours.

Super Mega Baseball trophies (no plat, shared list, no way this game isn't going to be horrible right?)

Unmechanical Extended Trophies (short puzzle game, looks fun)

Cosmophony Trophies (no idea what this is)

Loadout (no plat, but it's F2P so I guess we're lucky that we get trophies at all)

Nihilumbra trophies (no idea what this is either)

I played Trine 1. It had a good length and the three characters were pretty well balanced, though I think I used the archer much more heavily than the knight character for fighting. It was pretty fun. I played on PC so I'm not sure what the trophy list was like. IIRC I do remember seeing some posts about how it was easy and you didn't even have to finish the game to get the plat. Was that Trine 1 or 2 with the trophy problem?

It can be. At least it works that way on my AVR.

Its plugged in the back and I snaked the usb cable around to the front usb.

It shows some message about powering through the wall, but works just fine this way regardless of what amazon says.

I finally played the Blue Estate demo last night...ended up buying the game for $4 right after it. It actually works better with the controller than I thought it would. Nice old school arcade fun. Played through the 1st level. The only real annoyance is you have to re-center the reticle a good amount (button press), but once you play for a bit it becomes second nature like re-loading. Definitely happy with it for $4 though.

Yeah I'm definitely buying it. Still debating Freedom Cry and a couple of the Vita games.

Did we already talk about the fact that Marvel is supposedly getting the Spider-Man license back from Sony? Apparently they're going to get creative control and the ability to make movies, and Sony will get a cut of any profits. A new reboot is being worked on already with a planned release in 2018.

I know I have mentioned my company getting bought a few times in the past.  Some more fallout of the purchase today has me really pissed off.  We just had to sign this thing saying we got the company handbook and it included a vacation policy.  It looked like they were keeping our old policy for our business unit so that was cool.  Well today, 1 day after we had to have all that stuff signed, we get told oh really here is the vacation policy.

I am at the point where I was at the max accrual from the old policy (210 hours) and I have to take off random days just to stay under.  Now, with 2 weeks left in the year, with the new policy it looks like I might have to get down to ~130 hours.  Even if I take the rest of the year off, due to floaters and accruing more time between now and then, I am not sure it is even possible.  What is worse, the California employees are all fine and their policy didnt really change.  Why?  Because it would be illegal in California.  The new company is proving they will fuck over all the employees as much as the law in a given state will allow them to.

Ohh apparently I have to give 2 weeks notice to take any time off too, so I guess I can not really even take off starting tomorrow. I am so pissed off right now!

As long as Marvel can address Spider-Man's whereabouts during The Avengers, I'm cool with this.

That's pretty shitty. My wife went through the same thing when the company she worked at was bought. She had a bunch of time taken away, as well as all the free benefits she used to have.

As for two weeks notice, I'll just say it could be a lot worse. My company, we have to submit our time off for the entire year in December. So we just did our 2015 submissions. But they recently changed it so that we can at least see what time is available during the year, which we couldn't before. So now if June comes and I want to take a day, I'll be able to at least have the option. Previously, if you didn't reauest it in December, you probably wouldn't get it any time during the year.

I'm not part of your elitist bullshit. Ignore them if you don't like them but I don't have a problem with Therm.

so then you just lose that extra time?

I am glad my work does roll over, but it does suck because there are several tenured employees who seem to be gone every 2 weeks because of how much PTO they have...

Ugh, another spider man reboot?

I dont really mind the 2 weeks, I was just using that to point out that I suddenly have to take time and I shouldn't even be allowed to per the policy itself.

If you don't like "elitist bullshit", then maybe you should question why you don't have a problem with Therm.
Simple. I skim posts and if I don't see something being discussed that catches my eye, I glance over it and move on. Making this a cold shoulder mentality where you freeze out people you don't like is high school horseshit. It's like dealing with a bunch of women at work with the cliques and the bitching about each other.

But how can a new movie come out in 2018 when Marvel has already laid out the exact order, plot, & dates of all their movies through 2342?

Myself and one other guy (who actually has 240 hours since he has been here longer, who would have to get down to 160 I think) are trying to get an answer to that now. I honestly don't know what will be happening.

We had asked multiple times if this was going to change to know if we should start burning time more. We kept being told it would not be a problem. Well... now it is a problem.

All that sucks.

No cash out option?

Not only is Kentucky better than every other team in the country, our fans are also better than any other fans.

If Trine 1 is indeed shorter I may have to reconsider skipping it. I got tired of Trine 2 before the end.

Wonder if DeadCore will come to console. It's a very pretty, cool-looking 3d-platformer:

Easy if it's a reboot. He wasn't around yet. I know comics wise that won't make sense, but it'll be fine for their movie universe. The article I read doesn't say if the deal includes all the Spidey villains too, but I assume it would. It'd be cool if Fox would do the same thing with the characters they have the rights to.

No, really, I don't have a problem with Therm. Try some of those pills from Pharm.
Liked because I really need some of those pills right now. Didnt I already say how much I hate giving reviews? fuck ing women and their complaining! jesus fuck ing christ. I am probably half as mad right now as Top was this morning. But I cant tell these people off or I would get fired.

Seriously, I have 8 people that work for me and 4 women that all complain about each other. "This bothers me." "She told me to do something." "She has an attitude and I dont like it." "She talks to her friend during downtime and I dont so I hate her and you should tell her to never talk during down time."

Paraphrasing some of this of course.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too; I just hope Marvel has the same idea.

How do these dumfuks not know to shoot at bad guys? I mean.......c'mon. That's all I do the first time I play a game with unlimited ammo. I don't think being trained on these games makes that so, it's common sense.

Sounds like it did roll for him previously. Under the new rules he can roll significantly less then he could and doesn't have enough time to use up the days so he will lose them unless they make an exception.

We can only roll 80 here and I never leave more then 40 or so in my bank. This year I get couple more days. I hit 10 years which gives me five more days but it is prorated for me this year as I don't hit 10 years till almost the middle of year. They used to give you another week at 17 years of service but did away with that last year. Whoever was at 17+ got to stay under the old way I believe. But everyone else is capped out at 24 days or less.

Supposedly because we had issues with too many people having too much time and not enough coverage in some departments over the summer. I don't take much time in the summer which works out well for our department.
