I got another Christmas present: this gorgeous black chick I haven't talked to in years messaged me on Facebook today. We kinda flirted with each other over Facebook while she was married, and she just told me today that apparently, her husband read the messages and that was the beginning of the end of their marriage. I felt pretty bad but she didn't seem to be bothered by it at all or even blame me. I might be gettin into that soon.

 
I'm the only one in my office working today, so I am saying fuck it and bringing my 3DS XL to work and putting some Bailey's in my coffee there. Today will be fun

yeah it isn't your fault. If a dude wanted a divorce every time his wife was hit on no one would be married. Unless you wife is jaba the hut she is going to have dudes talking to her. And women love attention so they will most likely flirt back even if they aren't looking to cheat.
 
I can't believe PSN is still down.  I can still play just fine without it, but the lack of offline trophy viewing is really becoming more and more of a pain in the ass with all these long outages.

 
Yeah so do we know why the last gen stuff works and PS4 doesnt?  Can the hacker somehow direct their attacks on certain hardware?  Or did Sony and X do something on the cheap with the new boxes that makes them more vulnerable to this stuff?

It might be that the storefront is on different servers for different hardware. A way to test would be to go into the PSN store on PS3/Vita, then load up a browser on the device and do the same. I expect that the browser version would fail just like it does on PC and PS4.

If this is the case then it would support different servers/portals for things across the board, and would explain why they're able to target PS4 stuff that doesn't hit anything else.

Game froze up on me in a toy box once last night, but that was pretty much it. Didn't do the Avengers play set at all because my son just wanted to do toy box stuff. Didn't run into any issues (besides slow load times) when I fiddled around later either.
 
Looking through Gamestop's pre-owned Vita games that you can buy online with shipping. 4 games. That's it. I'm not sure if they got hit hard yesterday or if they hit some switch on every game but Blackgate, Sonic Racing, Dragon's Crown, and LBP. 

 
They haven't restocked from the 30% off under $20 sale. Most of the above 20 are the niche stuff that nobody seems to have. One of my local gamestops popped up with a copy of one piece unlimited red. Put in a store pickup while I think about it.

So I can get onto PSN, leaderboards work fine in Geo Wars, I can start a stream if I want. But destiny won't sign me in because it says psn is down. Bullshit!
 
Major prob on PS4 here. Infamous Second Son doesn't run and then all the icons on the home screen become blank and we can't run anything. Is anyone else seeing something like this? :(
 
I reset the console settings back to factory and now it's working including Infamous. The strange thing is we were getting game update files queued up even though PSN is down. How? I wonder if this is related to the hack?

The last time there was a ddos attack I had something similar happen. It took like 10 minutes from boot up to actually display the stuff on the home screen. I think it's because it is trying to connect to PSN and can't. Try turning off your WiFi and turning on the system agsin.

Ugh, I woke up with a slight sore throat yesterday but it went away.  Today its a little worse.   I hope it goes away but usually when I get a sore throat I wind up sick for a few days.  Most likely over the weekend of course!

Damn hackers must be to blame.

Yeah, I am going to the liqour store in a bit to stock up again. I am very tempted to pour myself a rum and coke on the way back in the office. And maybe thats why my throat soreness went away yesterday since I was drinking most of it.

While I am all for booze, get some salt water nasal spray from the store (name brand kind is called Ocean, but Publix has a store brand that works fine). Lay down and use it as drops instead of spray in your nose. As much of it as you can stand periodically is the best. Sore throat will be fixed up fine over the course of a day as long it is not strep that you have.

 
I'm sure you all have mentioned it but I'm not reading everything I've missed. Should Infinity 2.0 really take 5+ minutes to load the game? I'm on my second try after letting it sit on the blank screen after all the logos for a few minutes the first time.

You on PS3 or PS4? I played it the first time during the outage yesterday and the only thing that seemed really long was the install. Everything else loaded normally. Slow, but nothing out of the ordinary to me.

PS4. I think it was trying to connect to the online servers causing the long delay.
 
I turned my PS4 off and back on since my tech support at work tells me that fixes everything, but it only made my PSN worse. I could sign in before and now I'm like the rest of you schmucks and I can't do anything. And I just had an amazing score on the peanut level in Geometry Wars that I couldn't even upload! Bastards!

Yeah I bought 3 PS4 games, a PS3 game, two vita games and a Playstion TV bundle with Lego Movie in it. I bought it all over the course of a month or so. I so far have opened and setup the Playstation TV and opened the Lego Batman 3 game and put it in the Playstation TV. The other games I haven't even opened. One was miss placed so it didn't even get wrapped. I did find it though.

Really just exchanged with my wife. Bought a few small things for my parents and MIL.
