So this station in the Cities here is changing formats.  They signed off the air with the old format yesterday.  The new format starts Monday at 3pm.

In the meantime, they have a creepy robot voice lady spouting random song lyrics, tv show catchphrases, and other nonsense, with a T-countdown every few lines.  It's like a freakier version of Radioheads "Fitter Happier".

Peanuts in candy bars suck.

Peanut butter is ok once in a while, but nothing special.

Wafers are good, Pharm is an idiot.

Nougat and caramel is where it's at.  Milky Way is clearly the be-all-end-all of candy bars.

 
So I just solved a major field issue.  Problem is, it doesn't do us a hell of a lot of good.  A company needed to be able to prove they could provide phone and data service by the end of the year so they could get RUS funding from the government and claim depreciation on all the equipment they would have purchased.

I hope my company is happy they changed the vacation policy.  That change meant I was not here for 2 weeks when the problem first was noticed.  If not for that policy change we would have met the deadline and got a lot more sales due to it.  Good job HR, good job!

 
I know there's lots of love here for Freedom Wars, but I really don't think I like it. Last straw is failing a mission and having to go through a lengthy story sequence (dialogues/walking through station) again - no skip option. And then failing again and the prospect of having to do that yet again. Plus, yes, I suck at it.

Gator, you doing your normal Friday night drinking tonight?  I ask because I fell asleep early last night so I should be able to play some GTA tonight if you are around.  Otherwise I will be playing SP anyway.

Nope, my friend is actually closing on a condo in Florida today, so I should be at home playing most of the night. I do have a date with Pete for some more Resogun at 9, but otherwise it will be a GTA night for me.

 
I didn't nominate any games because I didn't play enough new games to have a field to choose from.

Still can't believe I didn't buy or receive any games this holiday... pretty sure this is the first time in my life this has ever happened.

I just ordered an XL Buffalo Wing pizza for myself for lunch.  Even the medium (12") would have had left overs and it costs $16.  With a coupon the XL (18") costs $19 and I get awesome left over pizza for a couple days.  I'll take it.

 
Had to order in today as we are the only two managers here.  Got other things, but most importantly, some real good Cole Slaw.  Cause its made with a lot of MAYO!  So fuck ing good.

Edit: NM, you said peanut, not peanut butter m&ms. Merged the first and last sentences. Yeah, I don't like peanut m&ms either. The PB ones are great, though.

I don't like Peanut M&Ms either.  I've said it a million times, but peanuts have no place around sweet desserts.  They ruin everything.  Every single sugary snack food is made worse by adding peanuts.

I'm not really a fan of peanuts though so maybe that's why.

Oh, also, I was going to ask you guys, since you are all scattered around the country, and you're not all in to Amiibos, would anyone be willing to buy this for me and ship it (I'll pay of course and give you some money for gas or whatever) if you happen to see it at your local store?

If I had played defense grid before the new year, it would have been on my nomination list. Thinking about different strategies I can use when I get home.

Pancakes/Tyler - did you guys try out the multiplayer? Curious as to how well that works, and how hard it'd be to get gold medals.
