Getting up to $2 is just resource management. I throw all the eggs to one side on the top row and wipe them out with skulls or other eggs if all the skulks are dried up. When a new skull drops I throw the old one over to the left or right to explode away from me and pick up the new one.

Like I said, it's not that I hate it; I just feel like I might have more fun playing other things rather than tear my hair out going for 1,000 pennies. I would still be up for a high-score challenge, though.

Not only are Mild/Pete and I tied for trophies, but we also apparently follow the same strategy and have nearly the same $2.25-ish high-score. This will truly be a battle for the ages.

I am surprised everyone does not use that strategy since it is what the developer did in the video that was posted.

I love Paul Rudd but him as a super hero, I don't know. That trailer doesn't help and the fact that Ant man is a lame super hero also doesn't help.

Oh am I the only one that really didn't enjoy the Thor movies?

I missed that video apparently, but I can't imagine any other way to play the game. That's what makes the UFOs annoying is that they take away that strategy but there's no obvious next method which quickly makes things devolve in to chaos.

You may want to watch the video, it showed him taking out the UFOs pretty quickly it seemed.

It's not really turn-based. Every character and monster has a speed that determines how often they can attack, and you have a number of things you can do to speed up your characters and slow down the enemy. The best strategy is to manipulate the speeds of everybody in the battle so that the enemy never (or rarely) gets a chance to attack.

Sure, you can play it without using any of these elements...but it'll be boring. If you are manipulating the speeds of the characters, though, the battles are very active and require constant effort.

Shortest time to plat, not the first person to plat. With shortest time to plat it doesn't matter when you start, just how long it takes you.

Edit: NM, Just realized that's what you meant. Misread it a bit due to the 1-day lead part. Bigger concern is probably that quite a few people already played FL.

I only know him from the Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes cartoon, and he was an interesting character. That trailer was really bland though. I have a feeling whenever I get around to watching the movie all I am going to be able to think is "this would have been so much cooler if they didn't fire Edgar Wright as director."

We have a display in store for that left behind movie. Walked by it earlier, and started cracking up. Some customers looked at me funny, I pointed to the display, and they started cracking up too.

Mmm, tried a new place which just opened "KC Smoke Burger." 1/2 pound burger which they grill, and then set on top of a miniature woodchip smoker which they place inside a silver domed serving platter for a bit. Then they bring it out to your table, uncover the platter (releasing that sweet wood smoking smell) and then place the burger on your bun. Burger itself was good, but the bacon on top was kinda meh.

It's kinda weird, they don't have fountain drinks. You order a drink (bottle of water is $1 and a bottle of soda is $2) and then they bring you the bottle and a plastic cup filled 2/3rd with ice.

I'm kind of happy there aren't any sales this week. I want to spend nothing this year. So far so good. Let's see how long it lasts.

I don't know why but I can't get into Pinball Arcade the way I can get in to Zen. I think because it's less over the top. I should probably look back into it though because The Adams Family is one of my favorite tables in the real world.

Pete, that $1 million Wheel trophy is the most random thing ever. They didn't put anything near that level of bullshit in the Jeopardy game. I think I've gotten to the bonus round about 10 times with the wedge, but I always end up pulling the 15 or 25k envelopes.

 
FWIW, Amazon finally processed my trade of Resistance Burning Skies.  Without the online code paper.  They gave me full value.

I will have to remember to check them for games BB is giving nothing for.

I dont know who atom is either, but once I was informed Spider-Man had a hyphen too I noted that Marvel likes hyphens when referring to man/men. i.e. spider-man, ant-man, X-men

I then looked up Batman and Superman just to be sure and of course they dont have hyphens. Clearly DC comics is better since they dont need no stupid hyphens!

Why is this anywhere anyone lives. Two mistakes were made. First mistake was the settlers settled there. Second mistake was not leaving after their first winter.

That first morning, waking up, getting out of the tent to take a leak and the pee freezes on your man stick, why was there no voice of reason asking why the fuck did we stop here?
