I tried asking one of my stores about that, but the employee gave me a confusing answer along the lines of "Unless a game is more than 100 miles away, we can't request it, but the district manager won't let us do transfers from stores that are that far away". I'll have to ask again at a different location.
I get harassed about it too. I don't know if it's regional policy or whatever but it takes an act of congress for them to transfer something whether it's 5 miles or 500.

I just bought R&C Collection vita for the $12 price. It showed full price in the overall list of games, but when I went to the individual listing it was $12. Alas, at least on the web page, it appears to be one large file. :( Though I guess I'll check on the Vita once I get it online and see if it shows up as separate downloads in the store on there.

Interesting. Wonder why the DM would make that kind of call.

On a related note, this is how I got my Nyko Power Grip 2000. I noticed a couple days ago that it no longer provides power to my Vita. I can plug the pak in and it seems to charge and then eventually gives the green light indicating it's full, but even when plugged in the Vita doesn't get a charge at all. Emailed Nyko, but my understanding is that their CS is pretty poor and I can't even find any documentation for what kind of warranty these things have. :wall:

Daxter looks to have held up well enough to be perfectly playable on Vita:

At $4 it looks like a decent buy. Only question is whether it's more on the J&D 1 side of things for quality or if it's a stinker like J&D 2+3. Anybody play it and want to weigh in?
Jak 1 was awesome on Vita, but it is awesome on anything. Such a great game. I did not even bother with 2 since it was so rage inducing. I wish I had done the same with 3. Rear touch button mapping on games like that can go fuck itself.

Edit: nevermind, was skimming thought you meant the Jak collection not the PSP game. I am trying to catch up the last couple hours.

Picked up Pinball Arcade Season 2 and that's a steal of a price.

@Sophrosync- You could always picked up the PS4 version for $14.99 at anytime since you picked up Season 1 season pass for PS3/Vita.

@Velo- You can never have too much pinball.
Bums, why the hell didn't you post this earlier today? I completely forgot that they give you the discount on PS4 when you buy the PS3 tables. Blarg.

And I'd like your post if I could, but stupid CAG like quota.

Yeah, I played Jak 1-3 last year. I really liked 1. It was my first plat ever. 2 was terrible, though, and 3 not much better. Such a disappointing progression. I played them all on PS3, though.

The Jak ports are supposed to have some framerate issues that cause havoc especially with the driving/racing sections in Jak 2/3.
See above. The framerate issues did not matter to me. The craptastic rear touch controls were the problem. With that said, Jak 1 alone is possibly worth $8.

Is this the first time the uncharted games have been on sale? Also, I'm surprised no one had mentioned tactics ogre being $10 unless I missed it. I thought nerds lubed that game.

Some of you must spend likes like crazy, I haven't hit the like ceiling ever.
Same. Even when I feel like I'm liking most posts I never hit the cap.

Maybe those guys just have a flag on their account. "These bastards are breaking CAG 5.1 with their excessive liking of things. Shut them down."

My bad but just remember the PS4 discount is only available for Season 1. When the put PS4 tables on sale I'll start my Pinball Arcade collection on that system. I love Pinball Arcade on the Vita.

Looks like just the Ratchet collection for me after spending some time going over the list.  I considered NFS Rivals, but I can rent that one so spending $12 would be kind of dumb.  It would likely be a long time before I could get to it anyway.

I know Dark Souls 2 is probly the better game, but just for pure fun and super mario rpg nostalgia and easy plat and jew class and
farting on balls
it was just great. and I havnt played Dark Souls 2 even tho i got the fancy metal case, im gonna pick up ds2 on ps4 also.

I know y'all have talked about PoP: SoT HD (yes I know I sound like an eye chart) before but old person me forgets.  Good but with some issues right?

Oh, nice! I already got the season 1 tables, I thought they did it for season 2 as well. Now I don't feel bad.

It has not aged that well. With that said, I think it is the only game that is fun and a reasonable plat game from the Trilogy. The other 2 wear out their welcome with the back tracking.

I played it a few months back. It was okay. The platforming and camera were definitely dated. Combat took a bit to get used to as there are definitely specific approaches required for different enemy types. Once you get used to it, though, it's fun aside from the sections where you have to keep the princess alive (she dies easy.)

I do think $6 is way too much just for the first game. The trilogy is $15 at GS.

Did they ever fix the leaderboards for friends scores on the PS4? I like seeing the high scores even though most of the time I see Chewy on the top of the list.

And yeah Gator is right about the plat. It probably takes 6-8 hours of gameplay for all the trophies, then you just leave it running until it gets to 10 hours for the last trophy and plat.

2 and 3 are supposed to be better but I've not played those yet.

They aren't really. If you are perfectly fine with doing one playthrough and don't give a shit about trophies they aren't bad. The combat and visuals are improved. The stories are decent.

Each has 3 non-stacking difficulty trophies. When you add in all the backtracking with 3 playthroughs you get really really really tired of both of those games. Plus each has a no death sort of thing that is really easy to screw up even on easy.

The Prince of Persia no subtitle game from 2008 or so is far and away the best game. I had a blast playing that even with the 1000+ collectibles. I am sure someone will say it sucks because of the voice acting being the guy that does Drake in a regular American voice. It did not bother me at all. The gameplay was a blast.

I couldnt care about the voice of PoP 2008. I hated it though.

Last I checked, no. It sure is dumb that they don't have the friends leaderboard on PS4. Keeping fingers crossed that they add it within the next 10 years.

I loved the 2008 game. We are a rare breed, me and you. I wouldn't say it is my favorite because SoT blew my mind when it first released, but it is probably my second favorite in the series. 1 on 1 combat, exploring areas in whatever order you want, and streamlined platforming were all great for me because the series blew through three games really fast with barely any innovation. I even really liked the ending which seems to be universally hated on.

Did you play the normal or DLC ending?

I really, really enjoyed the 2008 PoP as well--maybe even more than SoT--though I only got all of the achievements on 360. I'm excited to eventually go for the plat.
