Pretty sure it was limited time. I did it way back when, but I never played more than 3 hours in my 30 day trial on PS3. That kind of game is go keyboard or go home imo.

 
Dinner Update--    went to the local firehouse subs--  got everyone's favorite Brisket.  Pretty good--

I know inquiring minds want to know --  mayo or no mayo.  drum roll  ......

Half mayo half without --  cause that's how I roll!   actually I wanted to taste both after all the discussion

I also lube you all and wanted everyone happy.  Of course after eating I realized I actually assured that all of you will be mad about half of my sub.    I think I have failed miserably!   

oh well pretty good sub though

 
I caught the kid giving her Doodle Bear the finger today. It was hilarious, though I obviously didn't let her know i felt that way. I don't know what it did to piss her off.

You haven't failed yet. That will be determined by which half you like best. Did you really think you would get off that easy?

 
So just for fun I went through my GTA V missions to see how many I had gotten gold on. The total? A whopping 18....definitely not going for that trophy now.

My wife and I made it about halfway through the first episode, and then had to turn it off. Couldn't get into it at all. And I dig musicals and goofiness. Something about using the same song over and over for the first 15 minutes or bad acting or something. Not for me.

There was a bit of musical repetition in the first episode, I suppose. It was more a gag than anything else. The song variety goes up quite a bit after the opening.

It might not be too bad. Time is a major factor because the clock keeps running during cutscenes so skipping those should help with that requirement. And you only need to get golds in less than 2/3 of the missions. Plus the goals stack.

 
The last time I mentioned Tales of Xillia 2, I said that I'd be getting just a few more trophies because I wasn't having much fun with it. Apparently I was including the plat in those "few more". I now consider the two Xillia titles to be the worst in the Tales series (starting from Symphonia since I didn't play the ones prior to that) because of the annoying cast, dumb plotholes, and BS endings.

I think I need help.

Would you say they are worse then Tales of Legendia? I actually really liked Xillia, though I can agree some of the cast is really annoying.

Btw, how many hours did it take you to get the plat? I was thinking about giving it a go in a couple of weeks.

I never played Legendia, so I don't know.

It took me about 117.5 hours in all--80-ish hours for the first playthrough, another 10 to get enough Grade to make NG+ easier, then almost 30 more hours for the "speedrun" and trophy cleanup. I followed the trophy guide on PSNP, not PST.org.

This is my understanding of it too. With that said, I am not looking forward to it at all.

It is pretty depressing when I got to level 60 online tonight. Then I realized even though it is only 40 more levels to be done, I am not even half way through the RP needed to get there. The good part is I just unlocked the grenade launcher. That should make things a bit more fun.

Ah okay gotcha, Legendia is definitely the low point in the series for me, so you didn't miss much. Man that sounds brutal, I might do Tales of Hearts R first, since that is a quicker plat.

Thanks for the tip about the PSNP trophy guide, I always forget they have trophies guides.

I keep suckering myself into buying new Tales games ever since Symphonia on the Gamecube (which I never finished). Still need to start Tales of Vesperia and Eternal Sonata on the 360. Maybe I'll find I enjoy playing one of them before I do something stupid like buy Xillia 2 or Tales of Hearts R.

Vesperia is the best Tales game I've ever played, and Bandai-Namco are idiots for not bringing the PS3 version over here. I can't wait to start Hearts R and Zestiria at least looks better than Xillia.

Warriors ended up beating the Jazz pretty big, they had a huge 3rd quarter.  Fun game to watch and barely over 2 hours, I'm guessing because the Warriors don't play a lot of D so there weren't a ton of fouls.  Also got 2 things of nachos and a brownie at halftime, that was sweet.

You can't use your superhero costumes while you're on that Red Lantern planet because you're supposed to be disguised as villains offering Hal Jordan as prisoner so that he can sneak in and steal their power battery.

Maybe you noticed a few posts later I said I didn't turn him in, but if I did it would be well justified. He's a POS that would benefit from straightening up and whatever kick in the ass he needs for that to happen he would be fortunate to receive. Lego Batman 3 seems a lot more fun than Lego Marvel. Not that Lego Marvel was bad, but I think having access to the different costumes and more than 2 characters in the levels (before beating the game) helps things a lot.

Plus there's a lot less collectible nonsense, even if I still don't like being forced to play almost all of the levels a second time when free play is available.

I don't mean this as demeaning at all, but it always amazes me when someone puts triple digit hours into a game. I think my longest game ever was ffx for the plat and that was probably about 80 hours. And then I read about the time required for destiny of spirits 100% being like 300 hours and I can't even comprehend it.
